세계 침팬지의 날 World Chimpanzee Day

세계 침팬지의 날을 맞아 제가 촬영한 한국 동물원의 침팬지들 영상을 올려봅니다. 침팬지의 날은 침팬지의 어머니로 불리는 영국의 동물학자 제인 구달 박사님께서 1960년 7월 14일 탄자니아 곰베 국립공원에 처음으로 야생 침팬지 서식지를 방문한 날을 기념하기 위해 제정되었습니다. 영상에 한국에 있는 모든 침팬지가 담긴것은 아니지만, 저는 비공개라서 백사이드에 있는 광복,관순이를 제외한 국내 모든 침팬지를 만나봤습니다. 모두 제가 사랑하는 존재들입니다. 전세계의 모든 침팬지가 행복하길 바랍니다.
To mark World Chimpanzee Day, I am posting a video of chimpanzees in the Korean Zoo that I filmed. Chimpanzee Day was established to commemorate the day British zoologist Jane Goodall, the mother of chimpanzees, visited their first wild chimpanzee habitat in Gombe National Park in Tanzania on July 14, 1960. Not all chimpanzees in Korea are included in the video, but I met all chimpanzees in the country except Gwangbok and Gwansoon in the backside because it is private. They are all beings I love. I hope all chimps in the world will be happy.
