  • In this video I show how to remove the front grille off of a newer style Nissan Titan. People like to remove these for a variety of reasons and customizations so I created this as a quick tutorial to help people that may be trying this for the first time or looking to see how involved of a process it can be. #Titan #NissanTitan #GrilleRemoval #Grille

Can’t thank you enough for taking the time to post this video. And for explaining the challenges that you ran into with the clips on the bottom.
I just received a MotoHorn (sounds like a Train Horn) that I plan to mount behind my grille. Its going to get used a lot in caravans over the next 6mo leasing up to the 2024 election. #TRUMP2024.

Nice! Glad you found it helpful, it’s a pain but can be done without breaking everything in the process. Good luck!!

Can you tell me what you did about the side and top clips when you installed. Did you turn the clips 1/4 turn again or did you unhook and install in the grill then push into the holes?
I am having a problem figuring out what to do.

If I remember correctly I put them in the grill and then installed into front end of the vehicle…it made it easy to insure that the clips were installed correctly in the actual grill. Just take your time lining it up when you got to put it back…hope this helps.

First thanks for the video and in that note please don't be offended by the suggestions I am about to offer.
Please do something about your sound. It was very mumbled and I almost left the video because of that. Please also in the future explain ALL details. You speak briefly about the side fasteners but fail to mention how you removed them, which I found out was exactly like the top fasteners. You take out some kind of red tool and wave it around the front of the truck, but it has nothing to do with the fasteners. On one final note, if you had some close up views of the final stage where you remove the bottom clips that would help to show the exact location of the pry bar.
    Thank you

Yeah….I know…the stupid microphone screwed up…. I should probably redo it to be honest. Hopefully you got some help from it though, take care!

Actually...releasing those 6 lower finger clips is rather easy with a proper tool. I`ve had the grille out of my 2017 so many times from either adding/removing off road lights to adding raptor style grille lights. Trick is make a hook tool. I used 1/4" round rod bent in such a fashion that is can reach under those fingers and pushes up a locking tab. Now the key is once one tab is unlocked you need to pull that part of the grille forward slightly so that finger can not snap back into place. Now do the same for the other three fingers. Two of the fingers you can reach by hand by reaching down between the headlight and grille. I can have my grille out and on the bench in less than 5 minutes.

Super easy when you fabricated a specific tool to do one specific job... what the hell dude. This part took 2 hours. But yeah super easy.... Sangano!

It would be nice if you attached a video to further explain. Do you reach in from the front of the grill??
      Thanks

You sound like the teacher in the charlie brown cartoons & you don't show how to remove the clips. Your back is turned & hands are in the way.

I was able to remove the bottom six clips by pushing up on the rubber under the clips with my finger. Had to push really hard but it worked. Had it off in half hour

Thanks for the effort but it's completely unclear from the video what you did with the top clips and no idea at all what you did to the two on each side. I'll figure it out. Thanks anyway.

Hello! Sorry it wasn’t a help to you…I thought I mentioned in the video, that you use a flat head screwdriver to turn the clips a 1/4 turn just so that they disengage…That is the same for the sides of the grille…..the real pain in the butt are the clips at the bottom….but since your name is Danakin Skywalker, I imagine you’ll use the “Force” to free those up. Thanks for watching and your unbiased feedback…take care!
