I do have a question about the headlights. I know there are two versions of headlights for the Titan's. One halogen and one with the LED's. My questions is this. Can you use the midnight edition headlights on a platinum reserve Titan? Or do both the platinum reserve and your Titan have two different factory headlight electrical designs?
My father purchased a 2017 Nissan Titan XD Cummings turbo diesel platinum reserve. How does he find out which new batteries to buy? The truck also doesn’t turn off the cab bed light with the dash switch.
Jesse Donovan these are factory midnight edition head lights , purchased through dealer. I have seen videos of guys removing the housings and painting the housings black. Not sure if that would be an option for you
Wondering if you've seen a way to get the fog light on, WITHOUT the headlights? Kinda sucks driving in fog with the headlights blasting that light back at you.
I did ask a dealer and got the standard "it's regulations" reply. IDK, Nissan seems to like to hide behind that BS a lot, for lighting, remote start..ect. I say BS simply because I've never seen these rules they are beholden too (Work with DOT) and other makers aren't as restrictive while following law.... Seems Nissan just does and hides behind lies.
@@danielk0106 U.S. does too, only exception is older cars grandfathered in. My question wasn't intended on using the fog log s as DRL, but to be able to use the fog light with the (LED) DTR and without the low beam headlights. Nissan fails the night time loading/unloading test where one (driving any other truck brand) can put the fog light on without the blinding headlights. Particularly useful in residential areas while backing a trailer in a drive, as you can limit the light being pushed into neighbors windows by using only the DRL and fogs..... as it stand from the dealer, you have DRL which can not be turned off while in run position, headlights can be on or off, fogs only work with headlights active. Only U.S. truck wired this way, own many, first/last Nissan.

If I’m not wrong, he only has the DPF delete, since he’s running a diesel engine on that XD, I had delete done about 6 months ago and sounds identical

The connectors are different , I believe z1 off-road will have a sub harness out in the near future
I have standard headlights on my xd. Is there a way to retrofit projectors like what you have and make the day time led work?
I have yet to dig into that set up, as soon as I find a kit I’ll post it up and let you know.

NO. These lights come with an adjuster inside to raise and lower the lights. They'll only work on the Titans that came with the same headlight

No they don’t, the wiring harness it’s awfully different

I believe those are factory fog lights, SL trim comes with some cool looking fog lights

Why not show the grill removal? That’s the biggest pain in the ass.
