My wife applied for the 1.99% financing for a new model Y. We hit a snag and had to call the bank that Tesla has partnered with. They told me the 1.99% financing is misleading and that they offer over 7%. So I have to call Tesla and find out what the hell is going on.

I got 1.99% for 72 months before Tesla made its changes and I needed to out $10k down with Santander bank. I wonder why they’re asking for such a large down payment?

No one should ever finance a car for 6 years.
.99% so why not? It’s pretty much just paying the sticker price after federal tax credits and state tax credit if applicable. 🤷🏻
