I really appreciate how you've been giving lots of attention to affordable products lately. Most youtubers receive so many free high end products that they end up abandoning drug store products in the long run, or just throw some products in here or there. I'm never going to spend $50 on a palette for myself, no matter how much I want it. My priorities might be different than other women, but I still enjoy treating myself to new products and colors. Thank you for putting so much effort into reviewing products so I know how to spend the small amount of money I allot myself.

Pretty Accountant Yeah I have a few higher end items I've received as gifts and while I like them, I just don't think it looks so different *on my face*. Yeah, the eyeshadows are creamier and the packaging is prettier, but that's really what you're paying for- packaging and brand name. I would love to see some youtubers do some blind testing of products, where they don't know what the brand is. I think they would be surprised. Of course, I wouldn't be, because I love my cheap products and they look fabulous on me! haha

Beauty Treats palettes are very dry and powdery, but they last all day and the pigmentation is good. Considering the price it is definitely a good purchase.

Anita, you'd be surprised, there are a lot of people who feel that way. I feel that way too. Sometimes there isn't anything that comes close to some high end items (though not many). Most times theres something comparable to that pricier item----even if you have to wait awhile before you or someone else can discover one. But the high end makeup I do own, I have no regrets buying --- sometimes that quality difference is well worth the $.

Thank goodness for Emily finding and sharing these sites..lol
i think because of the matte formula and high pigment in the heart shaped blushes, you can mix them with clear lipstick (they sell them) or even lip balm and use them as matte lipsticks.

I gave away my beauty treats heart palette. I loved the colors but it was to pigmented and hard to work with just as u said. the figtastic pallet got that too the purple is really nice I used the frosty pale yellow as a highlight it gives me a great glow. I did not buy the harvest moon because the colors were too similar to those in the figtastic. I have the barely exposed 1 pallete I have hit pan on many of the colors. it's my favorite of all its my go to pallete.
yandy tavares the only other person I've heard talk about them is Zabrena, I was so excited when she talked about how awesome that brand is and I dug through my "cheap" makeup and turns out I have the big palette that Emily showed!
Emily, I must really thank you not only for the great information but for the intro into some incredible finds and products. I purchased the City Color Barely Exposed Palette (the original because the 2nd is currently out of stock but I will be buying that one also) and the Fearless Palette. The Barely Exposed is amazing and I am loving it, and while the wide variety of colors in the Fearless Palette might scare off some people, I am in love with it. Both have great pigmentation and blendability. I just love them so much. I also picked up the Beauty Treats Palette and it is really nice as well. I am using the mattes in that palette to blend out some of the looks from the other two. I also ordered some of the City Color blushes, which I haven't received yet, but I can't wait, now!! A simple trick for getting a blending resistant creme corrector to work is a drop of your favorite oil...I use almond oil. This allows you to gently release the product and eases your application to the the under eye. I do this for my corrector palette from the dollar store.
i have the BeautyTreats blush palette in its original packaging where the pans are just round and i love it!! but i made the mistake in thinking it was simply going to be cheap makeup when i first wore it and looked like a clown all day at school until i came home and saw how intense it was lol.

I always try to pickup the Profusion contour palettes, highlight palletes & blush palletes any time I'm at 5 Below. I love them. I can afford high end but, these are super pigmented and both the highlighter & contour pallets can double as nice neutral eyeshadows. I generally need my makeup to last 10 to 12 hours a day and if I use a makeup setting spray, these easily last that long or longer. I try to keep several of them on hand and will pick them up anytime I see them there.
Just got the ones I ordered today, the all matte one square pan, and then I decided to get the heart shaped eyeshadow palette since the blush was THAT pigmented and OMG, Emily you need to go back and get that one!!! Both are awesome, but the heart one is incredible, no powder kick up or fall out either and they blend really well!! Don't buy any of the sparkle palettes because they are cream like those old wet n wild ones, but hey for 21.00 I have 2 top drawer palettes here!!
City color is amazing! My go-to shadow is now the eyeshadow trio not fallen leaves. beautiful and none of the shimmers crease! My favorite setting powder is also their HD translucent loose powder. I don't see enough love for City Color!
My grandma sent me that big Beauty Treats palette from South Africa, which is a brand that I cant really find in Canada, and its awesome!! For someone who wanted to try some bright colors but doesnt want to buy an expensive one, this was the best gift ever!

For the color correction palette, try mixing in a beauty oil to get more pigmentation and to make them less stiff?:o and for the blush palette, maybe use them as eyeshadows in conjunction with a neutral palette?(:

I have that first eye shadow pallette.. I use it all the time. it has soooooo many shades that I use it in conjunction with high end stuff to create looks galore! lol. I can't help but buy and try less expensive palettes when I see them.. and these type of cosmetics were great for just starting out, I love to play in makeup. sometimes I come home from work and wash my face and start over, so with cheaper stuff in my collection I "waste" less

Emily! I've had that Beauty Treats palette for a couple of years - I saw a review for it on a brother's channel - and LOVE IT! So happy that you're reviewing it! This is my "brights" palette and it has saved me lots of $$$ not buying a higher end palette. I'm mostly into neutrals and this palette has lovely neutrals as well! I've really enjoyed it, even gave it as a gift for a makeup newbie friend.
ohh blushes that are too pigmented are too much of a pain to try to handle! that's why i decluttered all my la femme blushes, 9/10 times i become ms clownface!
I have the Figtastic one and it does get messy eventually. little specks all throughout the pallette. Love their illuminating cream. Smells amazing. Got into the Ellen Tracy brand at TJMAXX recently and that has some nice colors and blush shimmer.
I have the regular Beauty Treats Matte Blush Pallete and I really love it. They are super pigmented so like Emily said you do need to be careful, but it came with 10 gorgeous shades for $6 on amazon. You can't really beat that.

You could repurpose those heartshaped pallettes for your daughter to play... Get rid of the makeup itself and fill the containers with nailpolish... Tadaaaa playmakeup!
I recently bought a city color pallet at 5 and below and wished I had bought more. It is so pigmented and the colors are beautiful. The 5 and below is about 2 hours from me but I was planning a trip back for this reason. So thank you for making me aware of this site.
i love FIGTASTIC some of the eyeshadows can even work as highlights if you blend. its great and lasts a long time , even without eye primer!!! emily ur so great ir one of my faves and i lov ur snapchat looks!
I have the beauty treats blush you showed on the video but in circular pans. Beautiful colors, great staying power, can't beat the price! I'm on the tan side and feel they're totally wearable if you're my shade and darker.
I own the heart correction palette, bought it at a local Burlington Coat Factory for under $5. I find mine is very creamy and almost too much color is picked up. However it does leave a cake look and it causes powder to crease.

Id use that heart blush palette as an eye shadow it's way too bright add a bit of dark out of another palette so it's not too crazy x

I always try to pickup the Profusion contour palettes, highlight palletes & blush palletes any time I'm at 5 Below. I love them. I can afford high end but, these are super pigmented and both the highlighter & contour pallets can double as nice neutral eyeshadows. I generally need my makeup to last 10 to 12 hours a day and if I use a makeup setting spray, these easily last that long or longer. I try to keep several of them on hand and will pick them up anytime I see them there.

Just got the ones I ordered today, the all matte one square pan, and then I decided to get the heart shaped eyeshadow palette since the blush was THAT pigmented and OMG, Emily you need to go back and get that one!!! Both are awesome, but the heart one is incredible, no powder kick up or fall out either and they blend really well!! Don't buy any of the sparkle palettes because they are cream like those old wet n wild ones, but hey for 21.00 I have 2 top drawer palettes here!!

City color is amazing! My go-to shadow is now the eyeshadow trio not fallen leaves. beautiful and none of the shimmers crease! My favorite setting powder is also their HD translucent loose powder. I don't see enough love for City Color!

My grandma sent me that big Beauty Treats palette from South Africa, which is a brand that I cant really find in Canada, and its awesome!! For someone who wanted to try some bright colors but doesnt want to buy an expensive one, this was the best gift ever!

For the color correction palette, try mixing in a beauty oil to get more pigmentation and to make them less stiff?:o and for the blush palette, maybe use them as eyeshadows in conjunction with a neutral palette?(:

I have that first eye shadow pallette.. I use it all the time. it has soooooo many shades that I use it in conjunction with high end stuff to create looks galore! lol. I can't help but buy and try less expensive palettes when I see them.. and these type of cosmetics were great for just starting out, I love to play in makeup. sometimes I come home from work and wash my face and start over, so with cheaper stuff in my collection I "waste" less
I feel like City Color is a bit underrated, a lot of their products are really amazing, and their prices are really good, especially for their quality

You should most defo try them Drewy. They're cheap and most of them are super pigmented. I've been using my eye palette for a year now ;) I'm not sure if they have it in your place, but if you have a Closeout/Overruns store there, then you'll definitely find A LOT of beauty treat products

Ok, that last City Color Blush Quad looks like what I have been looking for since high school ... and we're not going to talk about how long that has been!!! I used to have this gorgeous dusty rose with a hint of peach - used every single bit of it. Must have!

Emily! I've had that Beauty Treats palette for a couple of years - I saw a review for it on a brother's channel - and LOVE IT! So happy that you're reviewing it! This is my "brights" palette and it has saved me lots of $$$ not buying a higher end palette. I'm mostly into neutrals and this palette has lovely neutrals as well! I've really enjoyed it, even gave it as a gift for a makeup newbie friend.
(I'm referring to the eyeshadow palette!)
ohh blushes that are too pigmented are too much of a pain to try to handle! that's why i decluttered all my la femme blushes, 9/10 times i become ms clownface!
I have the Figtastic one and it does get messy eventually. little specks all throughout the pallette. Love their illuminating cream. Smells amazing. Got into the Ellen Tracy brand at TJMAXX recently and that has some nice colors and blush shimmer.

I have the regular Beauty Treats Matte Blush Pallete and I really love it. They are super pigmented so like Emily said you do need to be careful, but it came with 10 gorgeous shades for $6 on amazon. You can't really beat that.

wow those heart blushes were bright! Those city color quad blushes (especially the peach ones) looked really pretty. i have the barely exposed palette and just pulled it out when i saw you show the 2nd...that one looks nice too! Great review, like always!
You could repurpose those heartshaped pallettes for your daughter to play... Get rid of the makeup itself and fill the containers with nailpolish... Tadaaaa playmakeup!

I recently bought a city color pallet at 5 and below and wished I had bought more. It is so pigmented and the colors are beautiful. The 5 and below is about 2 hours from me but I was planning a trip back for this reason. So thank you for making me aware of this site.

i love FIGTASTIC some of the eyeshadows can even work as highlights if you blend. its great and lasts a long time , even without eye primer!!!

I have the beauty treats blush you showed on the video but in circular pans. Beautiful colors, great staying power, can't beat the price! I'm on the tan side and feel they're totally wearable if you're my shade and darker.
I own the heart correction palette, bought it at a local Burlington Coat Factory for under $5. I find mine is very creamy and almost too much color is picked up. However it does leave a cake look and it causes powder to crease.
