Three Random Rap Battle Reactions and Spot vs Gaster are next!! Let me know what you want me to react to in a reply to this comment! :D
Grandmaster vs shao kang
If you’ve seen Thor: Ragnarok and know basic stuff about Mortal Kombat, I highly recommend The Grandmaster vs Shao Kahn by Marvel vs Anything. One of my favourite battles from the event and super underrated
"Chef Pee Pee vs. Teruteru Hanamura - RAP BATTLE!" by Dilly :3
Matpat vs Jacksflims
I'm not one to request battles, but I think Jacket vs The Batter is a MUST watch
Incredibly honoured to be called your favourite series on the platform. You’re by far my favourite reactor on the platform. We got a good thing going on!
Glad you loved the video and great breakdown and very entertaining as always. Humbling to see so much genuine excitement and support for my work. Hope the wait was worth it ❤
Can’t wait for what you do next, man. Honestly providing actual quality on TH-cam. Hope you have a good day, man. God bless!
We really do have a great thing going on :)
Love that I’ve been able to form such an awesome and genuine relationship with you through our content homie!
It was DEFINITELY worth the wait!! 😁❤️
That was Amazing, I also can't wait for the next rap battle
It was the wait, dude it was so good
oh hi eddie
15:31 Iodine is a mineral that helps the body with metabolism and other functions, Heidi (Carman's girlfriend for a time) became overweight due to cartman's influence
Thanks for the clearing up:)
@@theexplainer1576 needed this explanation thank you
Its also a reference to the scene in Charlie Brown Christmas where after Snoopy licks Lucy, she starts screaming "Get hot water, get some disinfectant, get some iodine!"
also it helps with psychological development which she would probably need while being with cartman
So Basically Eric Cartman’s Biological Dad Left Eric’s Mom & Found A New Girlfriend But One Night They Died And They Got Turned Into Chili By Eric Cartman And Made Them Get Eaten By His Brother
@@djplay7183 “hahahahahahaha I made you eat your parents! Hahahahahaha!”
Nah I'm actually crazy 🤣
@@djplay7183 Okay bro you say his full name every time and what’s with capital letter at the beginning of every word
by Fall Out Boy
That is INSANE😭😱 CRAZY DISS
10:09 I think the "dying of cancer" line is just a reference to how Charlie Brown has like, no hair. Also, Lucy’s line about iodine is a reference to how whenever Snoopy licks her in the specials, she starts freaking out and starts asking for disinfectant and iodine
Yes, but cartmans whole second verse is actually in reference to the Charlie Brown VA, Peter robins, who struggled with addiction and dr*gs committed su1cide.
@@CosmicMoon-rd5nl yeah I know, but it was shown in the video that he realised that while editing, so I figured I didn’t need to mention it
Just so you know- Charles Schulz died while suffering from colon cancer as well, which may be part of it.
@@prestonm-f382 oh
Hi four
The reason he referenced peanuts is because the original comic strips were actually called Peanuts
I thought it was because the show is called the peanuts
@@Ninjoiscool I mean it might have been, I’ve only read the comic strips and watched a few of the specials
@@glitch_man0913 oh alr
@@Ninjoiscool Yeah, both the show and comic were called the peanuts I believe.
@@Ninjoiscool The comic, the TV specials, the whole Franchise was called "Peanuts."
YOUR HYPE IS SO CONTAGIOUS!! I had such a great time voicing Charlie Brown in this vid and I'm glad you liked it :)
Yooooo
How are you so vocally talented?
HEY!! You did such a GREAT job!! Thank you so much for watching my reaction to this!!
The voice you did for this battle was fantastic. Congratulations on landing the role, and for helping Eric Cartman lose
Are you gırl rıght?
There’s an episode of South Park where Cartman does an anti-suicide rap and that’s what the second verse is based on
Probably his best
And also that Charlie‘s VA did commit die
well…yes and no. the suicide like is a reference to one of charlie browns VA’s; Peter Robins, who sadly commited suicide after getting hooked on drugs.
Dude, you're perhaps the best reaction content creator out there.
Sure, you may not be the most informed of all the lore and references.
But the genuine enthusiasm and passion you put is something no one else has.
Very kind words, thank you so much 🙏🏽
The horny joke is a reference to how Charlie Brown parents talk they literally use horns
The reason Eddie chose to add Lucy, is because they believe that it was essential for both Cartman and Charlie’s characters to “lose” in a sense. What’s what makes them likeable. Cartman being a horrible person is funny bc everyone calls him out for it, and Charlie constantly getting beat down but never giving up is what makes us root for him. In a rap battle SOMEBODY has to win, which means Eddie thought they’d be breaking characters, and the fundamental storytelling methods of both series.
They also felt like Charlie going full smackdown with petty insults would be out of character. Adding Lucy solved both of those problems, as she gets to “rep” the Peanits side, but very much tells them both off. Her temperament was also much better to match Cartman and give him a taste of his own medicine.
@@ironicallyedgy7234 yeah! lucy had Charlie’s back!
I definitely think this is one of my new favorites from Eddie. There was a good bit you missed or misunderstood though so I'll break some down. At least all with the knowledge I have of both shows because I'm a fan of both, just not an expert.
You missed the "I hear his mom is pretty horny" line at the start of the battle. In the Peanuts, the adults are never shown their faces and all make the iconic "wah-wah-wah" sound made by actual horns to imitate the children's perception of how they talk. So Cartman was making a "gonna fuck your mom" dig in reference to that fact of the show of the adults all talking in horn.
Charlie Brown doesn't actually have cancer, but it's a very Cartman thing to diss someone based on their looks. And Charlie does admittedly look like a chemotherapy patient with his lack of hair.
However, Charlie's official VA did have cancer which is super sad. More on that later.
There's a 3 episode trilogy in South Park called Imaginationland. It's way too detailed to put into one summary, but basically it's a land where every and any fictional, religious, mythical, ect. creature, mascot, idea, person, ect. you can think of lives in. It gets invaded by terrorists (don't ask) and Mr. Peanut, the mascot, gets shot up and dies in one scene if I remember correctly. So Cartman is saying like Imaginationland, he'll leave Peanuts, meaning Peanuts the comic characters such as Charlie Brown, full of bullet shells like Mr. Peanut. Also, peanuts, shells, you get it.
The "seen comics stand better on their own better from Jimmy" you almost completely got. You just missed the fact that Jimmy is crippled in show, he literally can't use his legs. Meaning Cartman was saying the comic, short for comedian which Jimmy is, stands better on his own better than the Peanuts, the actual newspaper comics, did.
Cartman's "I'm going home" line is actually one of his catchphrases for the show, not a reference to another fanmade rap battle.
You got most of Charlie's lines in his verse but I do want to clarify that Cartman's superhero identity, the Coon, is an actual thing they do in the show. The video game is just where most people know if from if they haven't actually watched it. The Coon is just a play of Batman, meaning he's just a man in a raccoon outfit. Ditch the mask, your fans are the racoons digging your trash, you get it.
And also, the line about "saving face like Muhammad." In the show, there's group parodying the Justice League that consist of religious figures such as Jesus, Moses and Muhammad. In Islamic religion, it's very widely known that Muhammad is such a sacred figure that it's forbidden to see any likeness of his face, or something of that sort. Originally, there were episodes of South Park that had Muhammad completely shown, face and all. But this caused backlash from Islamic people. So they reedited each episode and onwards where, if Muhammad is involved with in any way, he's replaced with a giant black censorship box. So Charlie's saying they're "saving face like Muhammad" because they quite literally did need to save the face of Muhammad.
I don't know if you got the "didn't expect soul from the kid in love with a ginger" line. But in South Park, one of the big jokes from it is that gingers, people with red hair, don't have souls. Charlie Brown's main love interest is a girl literally called Little Red Headed Girl. Meaning Cartman didn't expect soul from the kid who is in love with someone without one in his eyes.
You understood after some research after the battle but yes, Charlie Brown's voice actor sadly took their own life because of the cancer. This makes the "depression" line from earlier more potent because... Well, you know. Honestly, I'm shocked Eddie went there. Respect but holy that is fucked but so Cartman.
I can't remember exactly what episode but I'm fairly certain Cartman in that motivational rap outfit and him doing a demotivational rap is a reference to the show. I just don't know to what.
But what this demotivational speech is to "motivate" Charlie to "not" do it. Saying a bunch of negative stuff and facts with the guise of a happy and encouraging tone. Again, extremely Cartman.
The "who cares of all the girls who respect you are totally gay" line is in reference to the two girls of the Peanuts who seemingly are the only girls who actually treat Charlie with some respect, Pepperment Patty and... Fuck, I forget her name. Marcy, I think?... Are always seen together in any scene they're in, almost never apart and have a very good chemistry with one another. It's obviously just a good friendship, but it comes across as if they were gay, meaning the only two girls who respect Charlie are ones who wouldn't even go after him. Very Cartman thing to say.
Even though that's not true, it's just a fact that everyone is a little rough on Charlie and he's got self esteem and confidence issues. In reality, everyone thinks he's a very nice guy. But it's still a fun dig and meant to work in the context of Cartman's second verse.
The one who stepped in at the end was Lucy van Pelt, a prominent Peanuts character and one of Charlie's closer friends but also a rival of sorts. She treats him harshly, but ultimately just wants him to buck up a little and stand up for himself. She's also his by-the-nickel psychiatrist, which she has a stand for on the side of the road to give her own little advice to his and other kid's problems.
One of her iconic lines is calling Charlie a "blockhead." The line is self explanatory but, Cartman is too round to be considered a block.
Cartman's biology father left his mother, but years later it's revealed that Cartman has a half-brother named Scott Tennerman. He doesn't know this, but Scott treated Cartman bad. So Cartman decided to get his revenge by turning Scott's mother and father (who he didn't know was actually his dad at the time) into chili and then feeding it to Scott. Fucked stuff.
Heidi was Cartman's main love interest in some of the past recent seasons. They seemed good for each other at first and it seemed like Heidi could actually change Cartman for the better with her sweetness. But Cartman soon corrupted her and made her as obese and as awful a person as him. Lucy's screaming for people to hide Heidi and get her some iodine, which is something that helps metabolism in the body. But it's also another one of her iconic lines and jokes of the Peanuts. Whenever Snoopy, the iconic white beagle from Peanuts and Charlie's dog, licks Lucy across the face, she immediately freaks out and calls for someone to get her some iodine to sanitize herself.
Pork isn't kosher is obvious because Cartman is big and porky so no wonder that Kyle, one of the other main characters Cartman's biggest hater for good reason, hates him because he's Jewish and Jews don't eat pork.
The sugarcoat line is obvious.
And the final little detail of Lucy laying into Charlie is perfect because this is something Lucy does to Charlie all the time. With a bunch of iconic lines such as "you wouldn't know X if it walked up and slugged you" "I've seen you mess things up before, Charlie Brown, but this is unforgivable" "You're hopeless, Charlie Brown". Very nice. Lucy was voiced by GarbageGothic and she did great, she's been in a lot of fanmade rap battles as of late. She sounded a lot like how I remember Lucy so, good on her. She won the battle lol.
Props to you for writing all of this. And thx for helping me understand some lines
I'll try to add, might be a stretch but, the "I didn't expect soul from the kid in love with a ginger" may be in reference to the instrumental that uses the soul music genre as samples, meaning he didn't expect a ginger attracted person to flow on that kind of instrumental
Caught most of the references except for the select few. Thank you for this comment 🙏
wait can you explain what Charlie's punchline was supposed to be
@@skyguy1236 If I’m correct, it should have been “You’re done like dinner.”
It rhymes and it corresponds with all the roasts Lucy was making about Cartmans weight.
9:53 “taking your life is not the answer” I think this is a reference to when Charlie browns og voice actor committed suicide
Also it's like Cartman to convince someone to kill themselves by telling them not to
Cartman did an anti suicide rap in one episode
2:21 But also Charlie Brown’s mom(and every other adult) sounds like a trumpet because they speak in “whomps”
cartmen saying "im going home" is a reference to the show itself, not the other rap battle
Now, Charlie brown does NOT have cancer, BUT he has APD, which means he has feelings of severe social inhibition, inadequacy, and sensitivity to negative criticism and rejection. And, Peanuts is the name of the series of charlie brown. :)
There is this one hidden gem called Mr Hippo vs King Hippo. It can be in 3 random reacts, it can be in it's own video, but it deserves to be seen.
Also it's great to have you back again... again. I missed these videos
This, agreed
That one is really good and balanced
9:27 "the actor CENSORED" 😂😂😂
I love how energetic this man gets when when he react to these goated rap battles, keep being you bro
I think the "I hear she's pretty horny" line from cartman refers to the adult characters in charlie brown just speaking in horn noises
Now when ever any new animation vs anything comes out my reaction isn't "Yeah! This is going to be fire!" It's "Yeah! I can't wait for JosiahGAmes to react to this fire!"
The turning into chili and fed them to your brother is cannon in the South Park universe
how this mf lose twice to freddy and charlie
Hey maybe he needs to be in the special Olympics for this too
I can see why Eddie's your fav! As a lyricist myself, I can tell that the writers knew what they were doing a TON! Good job to you all!
Bro I never seen your reactions before in my life but oh my god I love your energy, I bet you’d be so good when it comes up to hyping up a friend 😭 keep up the work, loving this video so far (haven’t finished it yet)
Context for the someone tell Heidi to hide and get her some iodine line.
Cartman and Heidi where together for awhile and Cartman was slowly poisoning her mind into becoming exactly like him
This is the most overly exaggerated vibing I’ve ever seen😭
I just get really into these idk what to tell ya😂
This is probably the BEST reaction to this video!! I love how you explained everything and your energy was everything!
This battle is definitely my favorite from rap battle day
There's also chef tereteru(Daganronpa) vs chef peepee(SML)
And also Mr hippo(Fnaf) vs King hippo(punch out)
You should check those out as well()an:)
Can you do a three random rap battle
W.D. Gaster vs The Backrooms
Maui vs Kartos
and Kokichi vs The Impostor rematch
This was an amazing reaction to an amazing rap battle! Can’t wait for Homelander vs Omniman! I know that’s going be crazy.
For another reaction, watch Kinger vs Needlemouse and Jacket vs Batter by Snakebite
Someone made an actual rap battle between Kendrick and Drake, too. Greatest thing ever.
The dying of cancer is a reference to the fact that Charlie Brown is bald
Your reactions are always so good. I love the hype and passion you show for rap battles and the characters in them, as well as the people behind the magic. Can't wait to see more of your stuff in the future man!
There wasn’t any reference in the “I’m going home” line, that’s just something cartman says a lot in the show
HES BACKKKKKKKK!!!! LETSSS GOOOOOOO
Dude, I love watching your videos because it feels like I’m listening to it with a friend who’s excitement is just contagious.
Bro intro hasn’t changed since 2017
He did not die from cancer or kill himself it is all just false theories made by overthinking fans.
@@Memeska32 yes, & im pretty sure the cancer line was because of the lack of hair charlie has

Cartman beat Charlie

@@CloverPandaQ how
@user-zs6rc3ic8x The second verse is entirely about how Charlie Browns voice actor killed himself due to having cancer and a reference to a south park episode and hits every single common insecurity Charlie Brown may have. Cartman loses to Lucy but he whipped Charlie a new one
Love this reaction! I'm late but congrats on 10k! subs! I sent a paypal reaction dono hope you enjoy the rest of your day!
why is bro so excited 😭
HE’S BACKKKKK!! I think this battle ends with a tie and your reaction is just AWESOME like always! Can’t wait for more content!

10:08 so the actor for Charlie Brown actually died by the age of 65, the cause was because of suicie😢😔

I’m so glad you reacted to this Josiah, it’s good to know you’re doing well. This rap battle definitely proved to be worth the wait. Man, you know so much more about South Park than I did when I first listened to it. I knew significantly more about Peanuts than South Park. Which did not diminish the experience one bit, lol.
Cartmans bars go harder when you've seen South park, no one seems to get the goobacks line

HE'S BACK BABYYYYYYYYYYY
Just wanted to say this is absolutely my favorite rap battle video ever. I think watched four times or three.
The hype is infectious
4:12 "Im going home" is actually a reference to Cartmans catchphrase in the show
The ginger vers was just referring to how people say that ginger have no souls or take them so Cartman was just referring to that 😂
Im always scared okay??? Also i dont have cancer i have one hair thats god enough
Not my child hood 😢
Hey, so I just wanted to address something to you in one episode of South Park Cartman makes chilli out of his father and lover and then forces his brother to eat it that’s what she’s referencing with that bar pretty grim but at the same time it’s slaps
Could u react to either Kratos vs Maui or The Spot vs W.D. Gaster?
Im new here, but i already love your reactions 😊
Eric Cartman "really" killed "the" beat
I love it too, because even though most people say Cartman lost they acknowledge how he had one of the best second verses they've ever heard. I personally think individual between Cartman and Charlie he wins, but if you combine Charlie's verse with Lucy's second since they were technically on the same side, then Charlie wins. Eddiefrb really came back with the heat this time 'round, I can't wait for the future battles.
