      Yep, sad that Islamic extremism took over. Wish America had kept strength and not elected someone like Obama who would allow Al Qaeda to take it over again, as well as ISIS. What an incompetent president he was. Glad we got Trump in there now though. We can all agree on that!

    • @discojelly
      @discojelly 7 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Al Qaeda to take over? Hell son.. that is where Al Qaeda started through the 1990's into the 2000's. It never left. It's gonna be there along with the Taliban even during Trump's administration. The only thing that's gonna get rid of Al Qaeda or the Taliban, regardless of what WE DO, is the Afghan people.

      @@groot843 Well not that I like the Americans for what they do in some regards, but don't you ever forget that you Turned your own country to shit. For instance. I'm fully aware that Afghanistan 3000 years ago had 60% forests, and now not even 2% because of lack of intellect and culture of the Afghan people. Afghanistan is a desolate extremely barren country with 1/3 desert, the other 50% barren and desolate with only some shrubland here and there, and the other remaining 12-15% was for agriculture. But that has dwindled in the last 30 years to 6-8% to to lack of educated by Afghans who used their sewerage waste from the cities on the already very fragile land, which desertified these agricultural lands even more.
      Then the Taliban. Some of you Afghans with false pride trying to say there is something you can be proud of, but first of all your best era was when Alexander the Great left a 400 years long lasting Greek kingdom in what is now Afghanistan, parts of Pakistan/India, spreading Greek civilization and massively influencing central Asia and the indian subcontinent in countles of ways. Even the Buddha was first made by the Greeks, and for 1000 years the Greek gandaharan buddha was the largest stream in Asia. UNTIL (wait for it: ta da dum pss) 1000 years later the spread of Islam came in the 7th century AD, and alot Greek aspects civilization was replaced by Islamization in Afghanistan. And look where that brought the Afghans after that moment.
      Today Afghanistan is one of the top 5 poorest nations on the planet, on top of that war torn, and terrorist groups like Taliban (Which originated from Pakistan) ended up also bringing Afghanistan to it's knees. But the problem is that Afghanistan let that happen. People are uneducated and let Taliban easily take over Afghanistan. You know why? Because despite some fake prided stories from a few Afghans telling that Afghanistan blabla cannot be conquered blabla. But in reality Afghanistan is the most invaded and today because of it one of the multi-ethnic nation in Eurasia. From the Greeks to the Mongolians to so many others that all left a huge impact till this day. And today all these ethnic peoples are the reason why Afghanistan is not a unity. It's together with the fact that you're an Islamic country the 2 reasons why Afghanistan is not only the worst country to live in, but one of the poorest countries on the planet.
      Then you have the great pride of Afghanistan "Bacha Bazi's". many men who look at dancing boy's/children and fuck them. And another great shame that shows where Afghanistan stands. the girl Farkhunda was killed by an entire village is actually incredibly barbaric and uncivilized as, not 1 person did it, but e-v-e-r-y-o-n-e. While in every European, western country when 1 person kills another, EVERYONE gets angry and wants justice. All these things and many more is why Afghanistan is truly bad in so many ways. Not because I say so, but because these are facts.
      So before you say shameless this and shameless that to others, really you should look in the mirror and see that almost any nation in the world is better than Afghanistan.

    Afghanistan is a beautiful country and its people are very nice and beautiful people in general.
    Of course, the Islamic fanatics are crazy, but that is true with any fanaticism anywhere in the world. But, in general an average Afghani is a very nice and genuine person, and the country is absolutely beautiful.

    • @biancahotca3244
      @biancahotca3244 8 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      I totally disagree. Afghanistan may have beautiful mountains, rivers, nature, but the capital looks very, very dirty. Everything looks like its falling apart and I don't see any women in the city at all. The people look like a very backward people. About fanaticism, yes there are fanatics everywhere, but I don't think in such large numbers. This is the work of islam. People may be nice, but they are lost.

      shield&sword peace I promise you that you won't find any evidence to what youre saying. tell me one attack of the kkk and tell me exactly what you define being terrorist. I'm not about judging every person of any religion but to say that media reports only one specific type of terrorism is ridiculous. if a Christian does anything it's literally everywhere. truth is there's so much terrorism in islam countries that we only remember the worst ones. the ones that happens In Norway and Canada wasn't even religious it was racist agenda only. most western countries defend islam in every single way so don't come here and pretend that you know anything. one more thing, you gotta be able to distinguish between terrorism and racism before you start talking about it and calling people dumb

      Dominic Abbott it’s very hard to explain but really it’s full of shit. It made many bad aspects of afghans culture which everyone in Afghanistan hates seem normal as if it happens everywhere when it rarely happens. Also the way they showed the Pashtuns and how cruel they are but in reality Pashtuns are the most laid back people you can find. It’s complete propaganda. Even in taliban times that kind of shit never happened.

    One of those "off the beaten path" destinations which is not destroyed by mass tourism and where you still could have a true, genuine cultural experience. I did see other travel bloggers who went there and it was really interesting. There is so much more to, not just this country but any country, than what you get in the media, which sadly only reports about bad things. Poverty and war has done a lot of course but I hope and pray that peace will return there someday. Greetings from Sweden.
