Overlanding Newfoundland Part 7 | Lomond to Serpentine Lake

Part 7 of our Overlanding Newfoundland series, we travel from Lomond to Serpentine Lake. We had a great stay at the Lomond River and were looking forward to our next destination of Serpentine Lake. Experienced some river crossing, stopped at Cloudy Pond and Old Man's Pond where we met and talked with some of the local Newfoundlanders.
Next we made our way into Corner Brook for fuel and to re-supply. We decided to stop for lunch before hitting the trail to the lake. Although we had a few challenges at the lake - Chris swamped his quad, and Keith got the "ChuckWagon" stuck - Serpentine Lake did not disappoint. The views were awesome, we had a nice fire and camped along the waters edge. In the morning we woke to a sunrise peaking over the mountains and reflecting on the mountains behind us. It was an awesome place to camp.
