      @@TheF90Crew thank you. I’m getting the 2020 CLA250. Trying to find the 2021 at a affordable cost but no luck.

      @@VloggingWithDane Nice. Seems the used car market has been declining, but slowly. From my searches on Autotrader there's alot more Reduced Price on various listings. I think January/February might be a better time.

    This is my dream car

    • @TheF90Crew
      @TheF90Crew  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Its a cool dream car. It was really interesting to see what the CLA was like and it drove peppy with good torque down low. The interior is a nice departure from what Mercedes does in the higher end cars and it works. I have a driving review of this car but.....I accidently delated the go pro footage of the forward facing camera. I still have the footage of the camera facing me, so it may be some use to those who are interested in the car. Hope you get it one day!

    Very good and comprehensive review. Keep up the good work. BTW, which variant of the CLA with the best power to weight ratio would you choose? 220? 250 4matic? CLA35? Or maybe AMG A35? Glad to hear your feedback. Cheers

    • @TheF90Crew
      @TheF90Crew  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Appreciate it! Still have lots to fix and improve on in these videos so thank you. Its tough to choose without having driven all of them however I'll do my best. The CLA 250 and CLA 250 4matic seem very closely matched and it really comes down to either wanting to save money or getting AWD. FWD is fine for daily driving but you'll definitely suffer when pushing the car as you have the engine upfront plus the front wheels having to both supply the power and turn the car. If you are between these two, I'd try to swing for the 4matic not just for safety but also so you can rotate the car better. I love more power so I'll have to give it to the CLA 45 AMG vs the CLA 35. Its really just what your budget allows for. I know that driving a slower car fast is more fun than having a crazy high horsepower car but, with the CLA 45 AMG's 382 hp and a 4 second 0 to 60, you are at the sweet spot. Which brings me to the A 35 4matic. Its smaller and lighter than the CLA 35 and cost less. You get the same specs (hp/tq) but better performance because it weighs 200lbs less. If you are stuck between these two and you want just a tad bit more performance, then A35. However, note that you may not always have an opportunity to drive canyon or mountain roads and that a larger car like the CLA 35, might be a better fit. You are getting a negligible performance gain with the A35 so the CLA 35 may be better all around. Hope this helps!

    Would you go for this style or the AmG line interieur ?

    • @TheF90Crew
      @TheF90Crew  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      As long as the steering wheel is leather an not alcantara, AMG line. I do like more comfortable seats rather than racing inspired seats. If I'm driving the CLA everyday, comfort seats for sure. In which case, I'd most likely opt without it. depends on the stiffness of the seats.

    Question: can you go full screen navigation on gauge cluster? Or just the circle on the left?

    • @TheF90Crew
      @TheF90Crew  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      You should be able to go into full screen on the navigation menu in front of the driver as well, however there may be a navigation pack that is needed for the CLA in order to do this, for some reason. Apologies for not showing the full navigation as I assumed it would be just like every other Mercedes but there may be a possibility it is not. There seems to be different versions of the MBUX system and the Multimedia Package is needed. If not included in the car there's 2 sub menus. The third one is available with the Multimedia Package and can access the full screen navigation.

It seems some vehicles only have the two bubbles and the ones with the package have three allowing for full screen.

    What are those paddles for behind the steering wheel?

    • @TheF90Crew
      @TheF90Crew  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Those are the paddle shifters. The one on the left has a (-) sign which allows you to down-shift to a lower gear when in manual mode. On the right side is a paddle with the (+) sign which allows you to up-shift and go up one gear when in manual mode. They allow you to drive the car with control over the gears yourself.

    I wanna buy it but ppl saying it got cheap quality and it’s squeaky

    • @TheF90Crew
      @TheF90Crew  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It does have cheaper materials inside. Is it nicer than a Toyota, Nissan, Infiniti....yes. Is it a e class or c class, no. They just use more plastic in the CLA than the other models but that's why its cheaper. No way to get around that. Mercedes, from my experience, have a more raw driving character and it feels more aggressive than other brands. However, they do squeak and rattle a good amount. The materials and trims are nice but they seem to not be fastened down that well. It especially squeaks near the driver's mirror door area.

    Dude, just some advice. . .if you're going to have your hands in so many shots. . . .get a manicure, and you'll come off as much more professional and and try to refrain from using the same phrases over and over "really, really cool" and "as I've said, " etc. . . . Slow down with your speech and don't jump around so fast with the camera. Makes one dizzy!
    Just my two cents worth!

    • @TheF90Crew
      @TheF90Crew  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sans the manicure, I've noticed these points as well as was hoping to improve with time. Most times I do not have the car for a long period of time and this leads to me rushing through the video (which entails covering lots of information in the interior portions) and using the same words over and over. I do need to work on my vocabulary while on camera. Appreciate the feedback!
