Of all the videos I've seen of Tigercat feller bunchers this is the first one showing it's full capabilities, working on rough steep terrain, the leveling system working to perfection and the machine showing it is fully capable of outworking any other machine trying to emulate the Tigercat Feller Buncher.
There isn't any competition that can stay with a Tigercat feller butcher. Period!
Cheers!
Speedy than cutting by saw. leaving no stump. Excellent machine.
What a beast...I think I found my dream job.

I've got some old Koehring promotional videos that I have been meaning to digitize and post but have not gotten to it yet. I will try to do so in the next month or so. In the meantime, if you are interested there is a story in the July issue of Between the Branches on Guy Savard along with a few archival photos (including one of the KH3B shortwood harvester. You can download it on the Tigercat website.
@TigercatForestry if you are too busy, I could digitize them for you, no cost. send me a message on my channel.
also, i had already read that article, quite good. cool to see how he built/modified the harvester into a forwarder. a really remarkable man.
Cheers,
JR
I already like your stuff but youtube cannot seem to deliver me proper film footage. nuts for youtube.
I know that many of the designers of these first rate machines first worked at Koehring in the 70's and 80's. I wonder if any of them would be willing to post some videos of their machines working ex. Shortwood harvester, feller forwarder ect.
Nice vid on some tough terrain.
