  • In this step-by-step video Gordon van der Spuy, A.K.A. The Feather Mechanic, ties the Easy Peasy Ant. This pattern features a segmented foam body, designed to imitate that of a floating ant, whose abdomen sinks below the surface while its thorax floats in the surface film.
    Gordon says, "I use a generic dry fly hackle for structure and stability in the parachute, while a CDC hackle responds well with the slightest movement from any disturbance."
