    Never tried a cicada on a reservoir, have on the Green river and done very well in the spring. Will have to give it a try on the reservoir.

    Great pattern, thanks so much for sharing your hard won fly design knowledge. A big cicada year in Australia this year and Australian Bass just love them.

    Damn that's an awesome looking bug! Too bad it looks like it would take me several hours to tie... Guess I could just do a couple a day. Anyway, glad to see you guys are actually showing tying videos again!

    The thin wing material he used looks a lot like ordinary dryer sheets. Maybe I can get away with it... what do you think??

      Dryer sheets will fall apart fairly quickly
