Usually they buy a couple wrecked/flooded rigs at insurance auctions. Turn a couple into one. Laborious, yes. But not as expensive as you’d think. Tons of our Russian and Ukrainian folks here in Alaska do this as a living. One guy I knew would buy four or five of the same model, then turn them into two or three. He then sold them on his car lot. Seemed to be doing ok.
@@joethompson543 seems like it would be more profitable to just part them out

Yeah, but if it's been rolled or really messed up there's not going to be too much in the way of parts in good enough condition to sell.
@@joethompson543
If you have the space to store the vehicles and work on them and the tools, I can see doing that. Those Russians and Ukrainians are not stupid people. They've learned to work with what they have and make it work. 👍😉

Looks like this one rolled and then had a small fire on the driver's side. Probably didn't cost more than $5-7k at auction.
Wtf it’s 19 century....the damage it’s to big it always gone be junk after fixing ...hehehe
After watching that, and i mean wow, i can appreciate just a little more, now, why these machines cost 50 Grand. There's A LOT of crap mashed and bolted together. Whew
Very true
