I'm so proud of Motorola. They're still in the game with the likes of Samsung dominating the Android space, especially the foldable space. They're advancing their foldable phone so quick! Huge USABLE front screen 😍 I almost want to ditch my S23 Ultra for it, but I'm such a 'I need the best tech/specs' in my phone kind of guy 😅
I hope their devices are available in other countries to compete with other brands.

Watching new expensive devices that I will never touch.
I have been an iPhone guy for almost 15 years now. I was hesitant about changing the phone and especially to Android. But this phone made me put so much interest into it. I have pre-ordered my phone and waiting for the delivery. Time to say goodbye to Apple and iOS.
I'm not an iPhone fan but you're going to regret your decision on the long term due to foldables poor battery life, the reason why I switched back to a non foldable phone...

Don't get a Motorola if you plan on using Google Wallet. They're known to not work properly.

2023 might be the year of Motorola...This phone really does have a TON of potential. THAT outside screen is great!

Love this unboxing video. I love how the transitions are much much smoother and instant than how they looked on the initial videos of when the phone was announced. I ordered mine today in that very same color. Gives me Robocop 2 vibes.

Motorola is killing it. I got the edge plus 2023 and its very good. After using Samsung for around 8 yrs it has taken some getting used to. I miss some samsung stuff but overall the new Motorolas look very good. Also good cameras and excellent battery life.

Tim..just pre-ordered my Razr + from T-Mobile using a re-up deal! I'm pretty excited 😂 The only disappointment was not offering the Glacier Blue color...
I would seriously consider getting this. What’s holding me back is in 2 years time the trade in value will be about the same as a open bag of skittles.

Just pre ordered this in glacier blue. It releases on the 10th of July here in Australia. I hope it comes straight after that. Im so excited. Havent been this excited for a phone since smartphones first came out.
I'm not a big Motorola fan but they knocked it out of the park on this one.. Great job..It's the best clamshell foldable you can currently get at the moment.

I am going to immediately buy a flip version once the technology allows for an outstanding low light camera and very long battery life. This flip phone seems amazing, so tired of a large brick in my pocket. Absolutely loving the design and practicality

This is a flip, how can you go from fold to flip? My fold 3 is still good.
@Dean Cosmic I'm not a power user of fold. I wanted to change up the phone. I'm on the outer screen most of the time.

Watching on my S23 ultra. This is just fun having a flip device side by side. Waiting for Zflip 5 to roll out. After comparing with razor + I will go with either one as my secondary device just to have a fun.

Orgjnal Razr was da bomb! Phone brings me back to good ole days. I’ve been Samsung for 5 years, now been with iPhone for 5 years. Really thinking about going back to trying the RaZr. Looks nice, wish phones were not a grand..

I pre ordered mine on the 15th, just waiting for it to ship out. Ended up getting it from Best Buy since they offered it for $100 off(no shame in saving a few bucks). They showed a shipping delay, but hopefully I get it this coming week. I can't wait! I'm upgrading from a Moto One 5G Ace that's coming up on being 2 years old.

went ahead and ordered one. For 999, its a good price and it seems to preform well. My Pixel 5 served me well for 3 years.

I have the moto thinkphone an though not as popular as the RAZR it's actually the closest phone to having a blackberry. Very underated phone . Glad to see Motorola finally making desirable phones with flagship specs and not just low budget phones

@@jay_b.. the security features that come with it, secure folder, the ready for seamless connection to PC or other devices , think shield security software, convenient remap button , and the phone design very similar. Hope this helps
So if you have a case on it, how are you supposed to use the outer screen ? Or does a case not go over that part ?

For some reason i just rrcalled the time you review some obscure pbone called the Figo Gravity..back in 2017.
I'd like to hear how the speakers sound. I use maps a lot in my job. And Spotify and YT at lunch. But I don't always have my ear buds available.
How's the battery life ? 3800mAh seems little small for a day usage?

Great video as always. Can’t help but feel bad for you guys in the USA. You’re the only one that don’t get the charger and case in the box. It’s coming out in Australia on July 10 and we get everything including all the colours.
My Moto G Power 2022 came with a charging adapter. It cost me $69.99.
Yeah, I really don’t understand why they’re not including everything in the US as well. Kind of stupid.

@@Wazupppl G’day mate. Yeah you’re not wrong but that’s great for us. Even the regular model is going to be $500AUD cheaper. There’s no pre order on JB HI-FI site for that model yet. Apparently July 26 it comes out for $1000.
In Canada we only get the black 😢 and none of the carriers seem to offer it so the official Moto site is the only way to buy... Probably lacking the case and charger too I'd bet.
Beautiful phone but is there some sort of outer protection that folds also.. not sure how that would go w this type of phone but being a Moto fan, I'd go without.

I noticed when the phone is completely open its doesn't look completely flat. Other people have complained about this already
Very late comment but this is amazing. These foldable smartphones are awesome.
Am I the only one hoping these flip folding phones were boxed with the flip closed. That way they arrive in small square box instead of a regular rectangle?
Maybe keeping the phone closed for long time makes the crease more prominent which they were trying to avoid?
@@thesaurness2616I would hope not. The primary state of the phone throughout its life will be closed, it better be able to withstand being in a box for a few days.

I'm not aware of any folding phone that comes folded. I think if they're left folded for years or something they have a risk of creasing too much.
Does it display video over usb c -display alt mode ? So I can use my video glasses with it ,connect it to my outside monitor ?

Motorola nailed it. This is by far THE best looking flip phone. Even more, the latest leaked renders of the Flip 5 looked like a prototype compared to the Razr.

i just ordered this one yesterday. I hope i like it. I'm coming from moto x with mods which i love.
Motorola products are really good, I am using Motorola One 5G and it has not disappointed me, battery is fantastic.
The Razr is getting better. I'll see what Samsung is up to with their Flip 5 then decide. I hear the lid cover will also have a large screen. The Razr price point is almost the same as the Flip 5

I always had hand me down crap phones and when I finally wanted to buy a new phone I went for the Samsung Galaxy S9+ , the best phone out and the screen wound up dying from a software update. I bought a Motorola 5G Ace (wtf?! 😂) and it was so cheap and it still works great. I'm a Moto man for sure. Can't wait to get this phone

Coming from iphone 12 pro max, had note 9, and mostly iphone before that. Wanted usb c so i got a s21, but it was so small and felt like a downgrade even though it wasnt, then got a flip 4 which im using right now, but the folding felt so lame and boardeline useless other than a chore of opening it. Orderded this and gonna return the flip. Hoping this is the one!
