Turkce ogrenmek icin tesekkurkler!!! It is really cool language and I love Turkey and Turkish people I cant wait to be back again. Greetings from Poland
Magdalena Wojtowiczska Ayy cidden mi? İnsanların türkçe öğrenmeye hevesli olması beni mutlu ediyor. ( Aww really? Seeing that people wants to learn Turkish makes me happy 😊)
There's this guy who has been so kind, commenting on some of my posts. I thought I'd learn how to say thank you(teşekkür ederim) in his language. 😊 By the way, teşekkür ederim for sharing this helpful lesson on here. I had this Turkish friend at school, we spoke all the time and he never once spoke or taught me any word in Turkish. Sending lots of love all the way from Miami, Florida.💕
I'm Filipino, and I'm currently learning French and Turkish as a pastime. Right now I fluently speak 3 languages due to education and background, VIsaya, my language growing up, then English and Tagalog which are the language of Philippine education system and media. I'd like to target 4 more languages, particularly German, Portuguese, Spanish, and Russian. I hope I can do it in my lifetime.
I love Turkiye I would LOVE to speak Turkish like you Zehra...I always watch this videos and I love thus language...I just came from my vacation from Turkiye in Alanya...I loved there! I LOVE TURKIEEEE
WOW Zehra! this is great!! I have recently discovered Turkish and really want to learn some basics. Your presentation style really works for me! Many thanks!!!
Excellent... I came across you channel by accident... I speak a little Turkish learned by necessity, and these small snippets are so clear to understand... Thankyou.... or sagol....
Warning: Ederim does not mean "I give", it means roughly "I do". You can't just say "I thank" in Turkish, you have to say "I do thank". Think like Yoda from Star Wars. "Thank, I do." "Teşekkür ederim."
***** Just because one expression in Turkish matches another in English with respect to *usage* does not mean that they are equivalent *grammatically*. To claim otherwise is not doing your students any favours. "Say 'Teşekkür ederim' where you would say 'Thanks' in English." Fine. "'Thanks' is a noun in English, therefore think of 'Teşekkür ederim' as a noun." For goodness sake no! You will sabotage your students' understanding of grammar from the get go. "'Ederim' is a verb." This is the only useful explanation of the word for a student who wants to understand and use it elsewhere, and comes with the added bonus of being CORRECT. What remains is to explain what this verb means, and essentially the verb means roughly "I do." Word for word, "Teşekkür ederim" DOES mean "I do thank."
***** +Koray Biçer "Teşekkür ederim" is a compound verb... yes. Foreign word + ederim results in a compound verb... yes. "Teşekkür ederim" means "I give thanks"... yes. Therefore "etmek" means "to give"... NO. Show me one dictionary where "etmek" is down as "to give". Teaching a foreign student that "etmek" means "to give" will do more harm than good. Next time they want you to give them something they will try to say "onu bana et" or something. You have to anticipate such misimpressions to be an effective language teacher.
***** Mesele iki dil arasındaki farklılıklar değil, mesele karşı tarafın verdiğiniz bilgiyi nasıl kullanacağını bilmek ve bunu hesaba katmak. "Etmek", "to give" demekmiş, güzel. Karşı taraf bu bilgiyi ne yapsın? "Onu bana ver" diyeceğine "onu bana et" demeye kalkacak, kafası karışacak, neticede öğretmen olarak sizi suçlayacak. Mesele bu.
Turkish Is very nice language , I had learned 5 years ago , And now My Turkish is almost fluent :) , Now I wanna learn English , By this way , I am Kurdish :)
Ederim = I give?! Bir yabancı bu "bilgiyi" ne yapsın? Birinden bir şey isteyince ne diyecek, "onu bana et" diyecek. Sonra belki aylarca buna kafa yoracak, "etmenin" vermekle almakla hiç alakası olmadığını anlayınca da sizi suçlayacak. Mesela "go out", "dışarı çıkmak" demek, ama bir Türk'e "out dışarı demek, go da çıkmak demek" dersem olmaz. Çünkü go çıkmak değil, gitmek demek. Daha sonra "go in" duyunca da şaşıracak, "içeri çıkmak nasıl olur" diye... Sizi anlıyorum, "thank" İngilizce olarak zaten fiil olduğu için neden "teşekkür"ün yanına ekstra bir kelime getirdiğimizi izah etmek zordur. Ama düpedüz yanlışlar öğretmek sorundan beter bir çözüm.
In Turkish alphabet some letters have different pronunciation, like Ş - you can pronounce it like -Sh, others Ç-Ch, Ö -Eau(French-water) Ü (BrE U-like :-) Ğ (Soft G pronounce it larynx), One of the suffix language family, For example; Göz-Eye Göz - lük (Eye glasse) Göz - lük - çü (optician - the person who sells glasses) Göz - lük - çü - lük (business of selling glasses as a noun) Göz - ler (Eyes) Göz - lem (observation) Göz - lem - ci (observer) Göz - le - me (traditional Turkish food)
WARNING: A lot of the 'informal' sentences are formal too. idk why she did that but it is only three minutes. A lot of Turkish people might answer in different words that mean basically the same thing. Beware of that and have a nice Turkish lesson.
Tesekkur seems to change from ż to r. On its own, it seems to have ż at the end but when said with ederim after it, it changes to an 'r'. Is it only me that hears that?
It depends on the location, in Istanbul most people speak English, especially young people. However if you go to Gaziantep, don't expect many people to speak English
thanks for your good method of teaching turkish I follow your lesson and these help me alot so I hope to have some more lessons of you in future.... any way thanks again for all.
you can say "teşekkürler" or you can say "teşekkür ederim" but not "teşekkürler ederim". and yes, there are many arabic words in turkish, but the grammar is completely different.

I really like it when you give the definitions and what it really means in Turkish.

I'm Korean and Turkish grammar structure seems very similar to Korean
+Elif Erdem no, turkish is not in Altaic language. Turkish is in "Turkic" language. As to new research.
@@tutankamonbr1117 And Korean also not altanic language
@@hayida6953 it is Koranic language
Because Turkish and Korean are in
Ural-Altaic language family. So they are relative languages.
