Band of my life. I grew up in Bournemouth and now live in Devon. I was blessed by a friend, thank you Mandy, who bought tickets to see this gig at the pavilion. Best band ever and the best night since I saw the 42 in the 80’s x🇬🇧❤️👍😁
Mark,most normal guy you can have in music industry. He's so down to earth. He likes teach too. Love level 42, I'm 49 and my stepdad and uncle took me to their concert in Utrecht back in 1984, I was 12. Saw them live it was amazing! I'm born in a musicians family, I sing too and other fam members sing and play. My uncle practiced the bass in his livingroom until he could slap like mark. I never forget this! Love from the Netherlands 🇳🇱 💕
Thank God he picked back up the Jaydee. That was and is his sound not all those other basses. I loved him on Alembics, but they did not even capture that Mark King sound like his Jaydees. It's a relief to the ears.

Great footage. 👍 I was there aswell that night and they were just amazing - as always ! I was a big fan in my mid to late teens, but hadn’t seen them live for 32 years. They were just as excellent live, as I remember them lol. I will defiantly be returning on their next tour - for sure 🤗
Heres hoping the lads from Level 42 are back on the road again soon , which is usually between 2 to 4 years depending how they feel... I had bought 2 Tickets for their 40th Anniversay Tour " From Eternity To Here " & because it was in October 2020 it was cancelled because of this ongoing coronavirus & then arranged for last October 2021 but , unfortunately , i couldn't make it through ill health... It makes me wonder where these guys get the energy & enthusiasm to go out time after time to play live... I was in 2 separate professional band's (one after the other) & i don't think music fan's take into account how many times a solo act or band can play just 1 of their many hit song's!.. There's the creative writing process & then working out the music & then playing that 1 song until its perfect... A Band like Level 42 & practically all of the solo acts that go out on Live Tours end up singing & playing along to , just , one song that they have no doubt played well over a thousand times by the time you take in rehearsals/recording/sound checks & playing on Live Tv Shows & then on a Tour that could see them (back in the day) tour live for 2 years straight , now multiply all those Live Shows over 40 year's & the amount of countries & cities they play along with those live gigs & its easy to say they are still one of the hardest working bands that are still out their touring & for that " I Thank Them " Happy New Year For 2022 For One & All ..... Take into that theres the Radio Chat Shows/& Interviews for many various magazine & tv shows & some people wonder why those in the music industry take alcohol & illegal drugs just to get up & then hopefully rest...
Going to Cardiff... Its been my life long dream to see them.. Long story but " Something about you" is mine and my new partners song after a bad 27 Yr marriage... Staying over in Cardiff for a while as I'm long term ill and have to rest... Used to listen to the vinyl with my big bro on the barges at Gas street basin in the 80's.... So excited 😊😊😊😊

They have such a catalogue of great tracks they can’t squeeze them all in. They didn’t play Love Games, 43 or Love Meeting Love either. Two years time they will have another different set. Get your tickets as soon as they are released! And I agree. Johnny Hates Jazz were really excellent!
The fact they can do a flawless performance 40+ years later,means,they were even better,than you thought in the 80's.
