Actually the venom plastic combination makes sense. You’re always talking about how the supervillains who turn people into things are pointless because they turn the miraculous into plastic (or gold or ice cream) too. So if you have venom you can turn civilians into plastic to lure the heros out and use venom to get the miraculous
Wdym the Alliance rings are made of plastic?? Didn’t they melt them down to make that Gabe statue at the end of the season?? So I guess that honoring statue is actually just made of cheap, disposable plastic. You know, I can now accept that fate for our man Gabe. Cheap material for a cheap villain 😂
Yeah, but, here's the thing in the 90s jetsons movie it was about miscommunication with a creatures that were living there was a compromise between them and they work together to have the things that they both want which is true for real life if you want to have more trees then plant more trees and that way you can get more paper because that's the way that the paper people tree work . the same thing here if you need anything from plastic then recycle bin the plastic suff and not throw it in the river and by recycle bin the plastic suff you will have more plastic things that are important to you because the recycle plastic will help the environment and stop plastic garbage and waste . the only one that did a environment message right way is the jetsons movie in the 90s and the PBS kids show Elinor wonders why. They understand what people should do but fernguily the last rainforest movie was telling you that you should not hurt the tree when they animation was on paper which is made by trees .so the message of the movie is already confusing the the kids when they should have said if you want more paper to be a artist then plant more trees and that way you can get more paper and you can get more trees to plant and sit down beside and enjoy both of them . but nope the jetsons movie and Elinor wonders why the PBS kids show are the only ones who did it the right way that did not confusing kids and this episode to me is bad very much bad that it tell me that they have seen fernguily and copy that and confusing the kids the same way that fernguily confusing the kids the action was great but, that's still no excuse for the miscommunication and not giving the real message to kids instead of a confusing one that every environment movie of the 90s did seem to follow instead of listening to the jetsons movie and Elinor wonders why and sonic the hedgehog 90s tv show which is the right way of recycle plastic and paper and plant more trees to get more paper and recycle plastic will help the environment and stop plastic garbage and waste and you can get more plastic things. And the fact is that they are wearing plastic rings is even more confusing the kids and he is right how dare they do a rip off of the owner of KFC chicken genies brain . it's not the worst but bad to see them do a environment message wrong instead of doing the message from the jetsons movie and Elinor wonders why and sonic the hedgehog which did a environment message right way ,it is just not right to confusing the kids that wonders what to do to have more trees and paper and more plastic things and still help the environment is not right with confusing the kids like this. In my opinion weather you agree or disagree with me on this episode I give this episode a zero out of 10 cat noir. Every body in the episode is stupid and even the villan is stupid and the wrong and confusing the kids and it to me feel like nobody learn anything because they are all dumb. and even if their idea work, would that have been the same thing as thrown trash in to the river instead of helping they are created equal problems with clean up the mess in the waters + sinking ship the same way that you drill a hole in the ship and the trash out in the water ? The answer to this question is yes, it would cause a even bigger problem than the thing was intended for . they should have just put up a sign that says don't throw plastic things in the water . use the recycle bin . doesn't matter who wrote the episode it is bad and not only is gab a weak villan and father but has a plastic statue of him too that show his weakness as a father ? Is there any body in this version of Paris smart at all? What kind of hypertension ring causes everybody else to be this dumb and stupid? Bottom line is the episode was bad enough that batman vs Superman was so bad even if they had great fight scenes but the movie made no sense and waste of time to see .
13:21 I feel that it was needed, but poorly executed. Because yes, plastic is bad for the envitronment, but plastic is also a key material for sanity stuff. Syringes, gloves, some equipment, one of the advantages of plastic is that it is sterile.
I watched this yesterday and I couldn't make it even a minute in before I had to pause and walk away for a few seconds. The animations with Adrian on the motorcycle cracked me up. Also everything about this episode felt like a fever dream. The music made it feel like a sort of trailer rather than a movie, there was little to none character developments or any character genuine conversations. There were so many weird lines that made it feel like an episode more made for kids, which is ok... but lets just say i dont think i'll rewatch it.
Nino telling his friends, at the beginning "as you know, the Seine is a river..." was one of the most egregious examples of exposition I've ever heard 😂
I wish this episode was a AU episode of the characters being like actors & behind the scene stuff. Like sometimes what we see in others. I did like getting the VA’s for Fei, Jess & Aeon. Hopefully we still get that 1 night special so all 3 can meet & Fei/Marinette have their interactions again. I’m glad my head canon of those 2 still keeping contact on the phone is true. I did like Marinette being more comfortable standing up for Adrien. This episode was still boring thou
Am I the only one here that knows this episode was only made because Miraculous partnered with an environmentalist org to create a plastic waste educational special FOR KIDS? Of course the messaging is going to be on the nose, it's a school PSA! Not a regular episode of the show. With that in mind, I found it exceeded my low expectations. The Adrienette was cute. I liked the akuma fight and Ladynoir dynamic. I laughed at the ridiculousness of the plot and enjoyed the episode for the dumb fun it provided.
That episode was so painful to sit through. I feel that for episodes of any tv show that are supposed to communicate an impotent message of it’s audience (like pollution in this case), the writers need to go above and beyond to make the episode absolutely amazing. Or else it just feels cheap. This is episodes biggest failing is it tells us the problem before showing it. It would’ve been way more effective if Marinette and Adrien came to the boat-house to work on a new kitty section song only to be interrupted when engines get tangled in something like plastic bags (I don’t know how ships work too well, I’m sorry) and then we can have a scene where Milene (u know the character who’s most vocal about this) expands on how plastic (especially bags) r harmful to the environment and wildlife. Also total missed opportunity with Bob Roth. We already hate the dude and know he likes money, just give him a side hustle where he’s helping make fans with Gabe (except, it’s not the fans that r the problem, just have it so it’s in cheap plastic packaging). Or at least that’s just my opinion. There where a few things I enjoyed about this episode; like Chat Noir was less useless
Now i feel nostalgic,do anyone remember Randy Cunningham 9th ninja show, which is also have villain plot Akumatize exactly like Mlb, and even better catroon lessons in every episodes.
Yeah, main protagonist who has a rich school bully, evil dude chilling in a lair sending out evil superpowers to anyone having negative emotions, the main protagonist trying to stop the evilised person while sorting their own personal problems. Plus having an accessory to swing them from place to place.
the episode is so horrendous i see why they didn't even both releasing til so much later, it makes no sense the plan, the change of heart, the fact it would cause a anti-plastic movement, the logic of tanking his company to switch completely away from plastic or really any of it its just a terrible episode which can't even keep its message intact by the end
I mean, with all the stuff that is happening right now….i don’t mind the insistant captain planet message, humanity deserves that. Also the plastic guy just looks like he owns a candyshop.
Great video. I would love for you to talk about the racism in the show. Especially towards the charactes who arent white passing. They were done the dirtest. Especially Alya. And as the seasons went on it just got uncomfortably worse.
Lots of people have also pointed out how they’ll lighten the skin tone of some of the characters when transforming (Max is the most obvious case of this). Seriously gross behavior
I'll explain to you why this magic of color change happens since your narrow mind can't reach it. the characters have a 3D model which is then animated and colored by various 3D animation studios. Since the studies are different, the colors they use may differ, the same thing concerns the transformed characters who have different models compared to the civilian ones. Furthermore this magic can be found on Marinette's hair which in some episodes is very dark while in others it is light.
@@nixthelapin9869 its not about thomas making black characters more white, its just cheap animation the brightness is too high and you can see the diffrence by watching SAMG animated episodes and other low budget episodes. This argument can also be debunked because thomas said that he reanimated an episode (anansi) because the first version of the episode had alya's sister a litle light so he redid it so she can match her actual skin color.

I would say this was Gabe's most waste opportunity why no give him the power to turn them into plastic by shooting lasers and you know the power of the mouse so he can ambush them ? Cause how he actually did it it was easy to stop by wrapping the part of the staff that turn you into plastic with a plastic bag and then beat the guy up
1:22 I saw someone say that Adrien was actually meant to be holding into the seat, and that that’s a fairly normal way that people sit in scooters, but if you zoom in, you can see that actually, Adrien isn’t holding onto anything, he’s just, sitting there, back straight like a pole, what the hell
Y’know the dialogue in this episode felt really scripted?? You could tell it was scripted and it was so weird. Like ignoring the fact that everyone is suddenly obsessed with the plastic issue that is polluting the world I just couldn’t stop thinking “People don’t talk like this.”
It's because it was an ESG episode and they had direct instructions on what they can and cannot say in episodes like this. I preferred when they were broke and did the Cat Blanc episode. Ever since they made bank, they really fell off.
A cheap way to gain some points. "Look, we actually teach kids stuff! We're a good influence!" Yeah right, also your show is so damn popular you have such huge amounts of resources to make a boring episode like this one.
You should make a video on how UTTERLY TERRIBLE Officer Roger is! Take The season 2 episode captain hardrock, he is the main reason she is akumatized! Also in The episode Quilin he is also the reason and rufues to help un akumatize her! Real villian there if u ask me.
Roger just respects the law and is not going to take a single step towards corruption. To him, the law is the law. Juleka’s mom is a rebel. They are obviously going to clash. And I kinda forgot what happened in Qilin, but wasn’t it the ticket controller who was being a massive buttface to Sabine? Roger seemed like he was just doing his job. He is incompetent at times, but cops are always written to be idiots in cartoons, it’s hard to blame him there😭

7:05 I just realized that Markov is literally made of Legos. No seriously look at his arm parts, like one of those Bionicle parts and some other lego bits.
I missed the full transformations as they weren't shown almost at all during season 5. Always made me smile seeing them in the early seasons and especially here with the better music track. I think it was good to have a filler episode as they clearly can write better short stories this team then one big story with a controversial ending.
Guys, did y'all realize they used the season one Hawk Moth soundtrack during Monarch's scenes? It's my favorite version of the theme and I LOVED hearing it again! This was such a fun episode, it feels like a season one episode in season 5. No complicated and weird Adrienette, no senti-shenanigans, just some great Miraculous goodness. It was very on the nose about pollution, and I think they nailed that part. Seeing the transformations of the series' main three Miraculous holders was a blast, too. I was surprised how much characters appeared despite this being a bonus episode, but it was great to not only see the entire class, but also Gabriel, Andre the mayor, Fei, Jess, Aeon and even Nadia and Manon in their full glory! The only downside of the episode, for me, is the animation. It's not too noticeable but it's the only thing I can think of. There are some weird animation goofs (and also some sound goofs, but idk if everyone heard them) that definitely have to do with this being a special episode. I really loved the King of Plastic. I think that Bertrand was voiced by Keith (Gabriel Agreste) in the English Dub? If so, he did an excellent job. He has personality and his motives are believable. His civilian design is great, really great. His akumatized form not so much, but I don't think it's horrible- it's like on the Bakerix and Weredad level, instead of the great ones like LadyWifi, Evillustrator, etc. It seems the Miraculous crew really excel at simpler episodes. While I personally really love the more plot related things and more deep tones, it's clear that they know what they're doing when it comes to the more 'episodic' stuff. All in all, I am NOT disappointed. I LOVED THIS, and after that confusing finale, and just the entire arc as a whole, this was just what I needed.
I’m sorry I have to disagree on the pollution it was terrible like the most stupid stuff I have ever heard yes u can use paper and that that was all good but the stuff like plastic dosnt decompose is wrong it dose decompose it just takes a very long time they could of atleast mention that or how people can recycle bc in no way do i believe those fans could not be recycled everything now a days can be recycled and all this episode said was that French people are dumb and toss all there waste into the river really there’s like no recycling bins at all or even just regular bins as most people put stuff in the bin as they will get fined and then let’s talk about how they literally encouraged terrorisum they committed multiple crimes like it was nothing like hacking national broadcast to show your own political message and with todays media there is no way that anyone on this planet dosnt know how to recycle or what it dose to the environment this episode was so dumb and stupid and quite frankly insulting for intelligence then at the end they promote there own bottle crap made from most likely metal and plastic which yea reusable but can still be tossed why not tech about recycling rather than saying get rid of all plastic like plastic is fundamental in life now with electronics drinks cloths untiltys furniture and more plastic is everywhere why not just teach about how to properly recycle and that
Where was Nathaniel all episode though? Seriously, everyone was here in the Akuma class except for him. Chloe and Lila have their reasons, Sabrina I can maybe see for not being there, not yet being comfortable hanging out with the class again, and Alix is still time jumping. But still, it's like Zoe took his place as being part of the Akuma class
Yeah, Nathaniel and Marc are busy with their "comics",😂😂😂 By that, they are probably cuddling or kissing off-screen somewhere (I'd assume one of their houses)😅😅😊😊👍💖💖💖
I never liked how Marinette decided to take Mandarin lessons from Adrien. Her mom is right there! She's not only a simp but also an insult children of immigrants everywhere. Smh.
Not to mention Marinette forgave Gabriel in the season 5 finale. When Adrien finds out Marinette lied to him. He might want to break up with her. Which I wouldn't blame him if he did.
I really don't understand how FANS were the main contributor and major tipping point. Fans aren't one time use, people tend to buy them an use them for years, plastic cutlery would make for sense but fans? Nah, I don't really believe it
Personally, I like this episode, I’ve always wanted episodes to have other things, like French culture, history, landmarks and places. And some slice-of-life stuff.
couldn’t they just do like candy rappers instead of fans?? it would make a lot more sense that everyone’s trying to meet the CEO😭 I get why they were doing plastic though
I mean... couldn't they've convinced him to make disposable biodegradable fans? Like, does it matter what he's made the fans out of if they were designed to be collected? It doesn't make sense for everyone to throw away so many if the point is to collect them all, and it doesn't matter to the King if they get decomposed after being thrown away as long as people keep replacing them. If the concern was the fact that he'd lose out on the business of Gabe and madame Tsurugi, then a) who cares, it's not like you've built your empire on this one deal and b) he doesn't __have__ to use plastic to make the fans. Diversification my man. Do it of your own free will before governments around the world will force your hand. Also, how come I didn't notice the resemblance with colonel Sanders? Btw, I've seen stories of them making a series of shorts all about their fight against plastic, so, good for the organization that reached out to Zag, I guess?
Eco-Terrorist Protagonists... sounds like the next arc won't be against any villains, just against the French Government and whatever companies get in their way.
Yet another example of the show doing more harm than good with tackling serious issues. Hell, even Winx club in its incredibly childish seasons did a better job with the "save the planet" thing. And those seasons were a fucking pain to watch!
A better change is the plastic CEO sues the kids and their parents for libel. The CEO lawyer flips the argument to make the kids come off as looking like the bad guys. Some of Marinette friends get angry to the point Hawkmoth akumatizes them into eco-monsters that want to cleanse the city for the planet.
Whenever I saw anyone mention it at all I was always getting the impression that it'd be some little 1 or 2 minute short that TV networks could edit down to 10-20 seconds and inject into their commercial breaks, not a full episode in its own right.
Why exactly did they think needing to bring back Gabe as Monarch, who is already dead, and creating an akumatized villain would be a great way to teach kids about plastic pollution? They already did this in the main series and my god you don't need supervillains to have an engaging and informative environmental episode!
I’m actually kind of goad they didn’t go the route of “it’s YOUR fault pollution is happening, it’s all because you didn’t use paper straws” and instead admitted it’s the corporations fault. But also why doesn’t chat noir just cataclysm the plastic?? He can do that
11:57 I mean, if Adrien can speak it better than she can, why shouldn’t he? But yeah, it’s weird that she doesn’t ask her mom. 13:30 Plastic *does* have its uses though. Recycling and disposal methods need to be greatly improved.
Ironically, plastic produces the least carbon emissions when it’s made if you compare it to paper bags or cotton totes. It’s the mass production of plastic that’s the major problem and our crappy recycling infrastructure. We need to be producing more products that are meant to be reused over and over again instead of just worrying about if it’s biodegradable.
i don't know how it is in france but in america immigrants well often refused to let there children learn there native tongue out of fear the will be seen as an outsider if they speak it
My problem with this episode is the kids are blaming the wrong people. It’s not the plastic corporations fault for the pollution, it’s the citizens who’re mindlessly throwing them on the ground. Like Plastic king stated, plastic is everlasting and reusable. So unless they get torn or broken, people have no reason to throw them away. What makes it worse is that they are throwing the fans away but they keep buying more. So not only are people wasting material, they’re also wasting money. The corporations may produce the plastic, but its our job to make sure they’re properly disposed of, via recycling.
I think any "special" is going to be a rushed, hamfisted, unnatural kind of episode. I will ignore this episode going forward much like I do the Christmas episodes. And as a southern American, the whole texas accent bad guy thing is just lazy. I'm sure in the original French, it's different so it was probably a decision made stateside due to how much he LOOKS like the KFC founder but its lame. Also, that is no Kentucky accent. It's Texan. I just wish the people behind this show would start respecting the characters and world they created and do them some actual narrative justice. I think I'm still sore about the finale. But here I am, still very much wondering what the hell is going to happen in Season 6 and how they are going to explain away the whole universe being rewritten.
Same with that one Dora the explorer special. The one where the ocean got littered. So Dora and Boots helped clean up the beach. And Dora became a mermaid temporarily to help clean underneath the sea.
I actually thought Adrien teaching Marinette mandarin was pretty cute, since they had already established that Marinette doesn't speak it herself back in that one early seasons episode when her uncle came to visit. Meanwhile, there have been multiple mentions of Adrien taking classes---in fact, that's how Master Fu got access to him back in season. . .3? I think it was? No idea why Marinette's mother never tried to teach her daughter herself though.
Not to be THAT guy, but where I live in the US, plastic bags cost .08 cents per bag. Applying that math to the 10k bags, it would be 800 USD. Now that's the price consumers pay, I'm not sure about retailers. But if it's about the same price, 800 for supplies isn't unheard of. Although 10k plastic bags is a bit extreme
Honestly this episode was a 'so bad it's good' episode for me, I could not stop laughing the entire episode at the goofy animations and how ridiculous their logic was
I dont know about other streaming platforms, but disney+ canada had this as the last episode, and it was *extremely* jarring to see this right after the finale. When i force my roommate to watch s5, im going to have to remember to watch this episode somewhere in the middle where it doesnt mess with atmosphere as much.
You call that a utopia? Paris looks and sounds like a hellscape in the end, I would never live in that kind of city. That city wouldn't even be able to properly function and it would be borderline unlivable for the people there. I have no idea how they plan to continue the series when Paris has been destroyed. Hopefully no one will ever need an ambulance since there are no cars anymore. And hopefully no one needs to transport anything anywhere, I'm sure public rails can totally handle that and can deliver anywhere no matter where it is. Food especially, that is kind of important. What baby brain wrote this?
I heard that the real life family of the dude that invented plastic (or the polimer for it, idk dont remember the exact details) was very very rich and famous (not celebrity famous but just rich famous i guess lol). So i can believe someone could also be famous for it again lol
They said the word plastique so often in this episode that I barely made it to the end, it was so annoying lol. And logic-wise, this episode is even worse than the season 5 finale. Also I feel like the animation quality dropped immensely, like that first scene when Adrien and Mari were on the bike, Adrien was literally completely stiff. It looked so weird
The worst animated scene in this episode is the scene where the boat was shaking. Dear God did mari, adrien and nino look weird in that scene 💀; their movements made them feel like dolls .
Honestly Disney continues to drop the ball. The whole point of miraculous is to stop anyone from making a wish. Because as tiki has put it, you are writing in a red pen or marker, doesn’t matter. Say you want to change the color of the pen, but having that different color won’t look good with the existing color. So you just erase it and rewrite it all. When Gabriel made his wish and everything was fine, Disney made marionette and adrien look like fools for keeping Gabriel from making his wish cuz he was in the right when obviously it’s supposed to be wrong. I…. Hate this ending. The whole point is that by removing and then adding is supposed to basically end the world they live in and things are supposed to be very different. And besides the amount of broken relationships in this show which makes me mad, they been treating everyone badly. As many have mentioned. Honestly, if they continue the series, I ain’t watching. My miraculous faded and all I have left is my head cannon but if people like this ending. I can only say you are weird but I respect your choices. Me as a die hard fan of this show…. I am left wanting.
I can kinda envisage the ranking of season 5 akumatised villains taking into account the extra powers they are given. (Not including Collector as he was just an illusion nor Red Moon as it was a Senticreature, they may be in the actual ranking though as an asset). Trash: Ryukomori Sole Destroyer Mr Pigeon Low: Vanisher Glaciator Bug Catcher Dark Humour King of Plastic Mid: Riposte Prime Ikari Dozen Kiekoo Gold Record High: Miss Sans-Cullot Reflekta Manipula Darker Owl Pharaoh Nightormentor Matagi Gozen Top: Hoaxer Safari Queen Mayor Miraculized
Dont use plastic instead use paper now the trees are going to get sawn off This special is only saying plastic is bad thing they dont say that we should separate trash or recycle our trash or put trash in the trash bin its so boring and it repeats that plastic is bad also the students are getting annoying in this show almost everyone Also companys or toys like lego Playmobil barbie and so on are made of plastic also hasnt Markov that lego brick there? Max Programmed him saying that
People haven't learned from history, the whole reason plastic came into favour for cheap furniture and bags wasn't because it was a mystical miracle material. Paper products were cheaper to make, it's just the forests were going to shit. So plastic got popular because it was saving the trees and therefore the planet. (In 1965, Sten Gustaf Thulin patented the plastic bag with the intention of saving trees. He had witnessed the devastation of forests, so he started using plastic bags and kept one folded in his back pocket for reuse*. Became even bigger in the 90S to use plastic though*). Kids were literally taught to use plastic in school. Now we've done a 180 and are back to "reduce and get rid of plastic to save the planet". At this point, alternatives to plastic AND paper need to become more commonplace and large corps need to spearhead. Alternatives should ideally convert what we consider waste or waste-like into useful materials. I can't control the majority of food being in cardboard or plastic wrapped, I can't choose to not eat. And I do need certain products in my life, like food containers and whatnot, but I'm sensitive to price and durability because the economy is shit. Some groups have tested and made styrofoam alternatives out of mushrooms for instance, but unless there's massive investment and large corps actively switch over, it doesn't mean shit.

This ep might not be completely canon it’s just to teach about plastic waist
@@chrisbowers7523your essay is longer than the Mariana trench 😭
13:21 I feel that it was needed, but poorly executed.
Because yes, plastic is bad for the envitronment, but plastic is also a key material for sanity stuff. Syringes, gloves, some equipment, one of the advantages of plastic is that it is sterile.
Since it’s miraculous, that level of nuance is too much to ask for
it was only for a brief moment but they did actually mention the instances it's been helpful when they were talking to the CEO as civilians
Another episode that feels like a feverdream😂
Have you seen the show!!!
I have seen superhero shows that are 10 times better than this and not all of them are from dc n9r marvel
From now on I think I'm going to call him Santa Sanders
I wish this episode was a AU episode of the characters being like actors & behind the scene stuff. Like sometimes what we see in others.
I did like getting the VA’s for Fei, Jess & Aeon. Hopefully we still get that 1 night special so all 3 can meet & Fei/Marinette have their interactions again. I’m glad my head canon of those 2 still keeping contact on the phone is true.
I did like Marinette being more comfortable standing up for Adrien. This episode was still boring thou
“This slander on my Sanders”!
I laughed so hard.
In revisting this comments section several hours later, apparently I am.
NGL I wish he would've mentioned it, while yea the episode is not really good on its own it makes sense why it's written like that
That makes sense
If the alliance rings were really made of plastic, how were they able to melt them down in the finale to make that Gabriel statue??
Prob made of metal instead of Plastic 🤷🏽♂️
@@liljakethesnake536 That’s what I thought too, but apparently they’re made of plastic according to Action
why cant it just be both plastic and metal ?
If the alliance rings were made out of plastic how do they work plastic is a poor conductor of electricity
Plus having an accessory to swing them from place to place.
the episode is so horrendous i see why they didn't even both releasing til so much later, it makes no sense the plan, the change of heart, the fact it would cause a anti-plastic movement, the logic of tanking his company to switch completely away from plastic or really any of it
its just a terrible episode which can't even keep its message intact by the end

The venom power is actually really useful because it allows them to grab the miraculous’s easily without being turned into plastic
The only reason to have venom and the plastic powers, is so he can steal the Miraculous without turning them into plastic.
Except Gabe tells him to turn them into plastic then take the miraculous
I would say this was Gabe's most waste opportunity why no give him the power to turn them into plastic by shooting lasers and you know the power of the mouse so he can ambush them ? Cause how he actually did it it was easy to stop by wrapping the part of the staff that turn you into plastic with a plastic bag and then beat the guy up
@@mozzy2968 ...Maybe he's just too stupid to realize how smart he's being?
(Honestly, it's just careless writing, let's be honest.)
8:48 lmao so they can’t convince anyone to listen to them, so they just hijack the news channel to force people to listen to them. 😂
Nerd emoji tbh
A cheap way to gain some points. "Look, we actually teach kids stuff! We're a good influence!"
Yeah right, also your show is so damn popular you have such huge amounts of resources to make a boring episode like this one.
YES ITS SO ROBOTIC
You should make a video on how UTTERLY TERRIBLE Officer Roger is! Take The season 2 episode captain hardrock, he is the main reason she is akumatized! Also in The episode Quilin he is also the reason and rufues to help un akumatize her! Real villian there if u ask me.
He's just doing he's job,I mean he can't just let someone go because they are angry
He didn't do much wrong she knew why she was going she can fight in court
In his defense, she was being too loud which could cause issues for people with hearing disabilities.
He is incompetent at times, but cops are always written to be idiots in cartoons, it’s hard to blame him there😭
@@eliben4066He knew Sabine personally but still treated her as if she's dangerous even calling the swat team on her because she supposedly didn't pay for a ticket😐
7:05 I just realized that Markov is literally made of Legos.
No seriously look at his arm parts, like one of those Bionicle parts and some other lego bits.
It's more of a Mixel joint. Towball and socket.
It kinda sucked in my opinion probably cus I like the truth seeker villains and the big packed of power enemy's like cat blanch
I’m sorry I have to disagree on the pollution it was terrible like the most stupid stuff I have ever heard yes u can use paper and that that was all good but the stuff like plastic dosnt decompose is wrong it dose decompose it just takes a very long time they could of atleast mention that or how people can recycle bc in no way do i believe those fans could not be recycled everything now a days can be recycled and all this episode said was that French people are dumb and toss all there waste into the river really there’s like no recycling bins at all or even just regular bins as most people put stuff in the bin as they will get fined and then let’s talk about how they literally encouraged terrorisum they committed multiple crimes like it was nothing like hacking national broadcast to show your own political message and with todays media there is no way that anyone on this planet dosnt know how to recycle or what it dose to the environment this episode was so dumb and stupid and quite frankly insulting for intelligence then at the end they promote there own bottle crap made from most likely metal and plastic which yea reusable but can still be tossed why not tech about recycling rather than saying get rid of all plastic like plastic is fundamental in life now with electronics drinks cloths untiltys furniture and more plastic is everywhere why not just teach about how to properly recycle and that
For me, it felt kinda.. bland? Compared to other episodes, this one was sorta boring lol.
"Imagine terrorists getting acsess to this tech" reminder that markov is open source.
I feel like this should've been a short rather than a full episode.
Pink Colonel Sanders? More like King Candy! Seriously, that's who the Plastic king reminds me of!
Idk about other people but it gave off MAJOR Simpleman vibes to me
I mean it is meant to trachea children so idk why u had your hopes up
Marinette smile is uncanny, everyone faces look off.
Nath's only present when the plot needs it most of the times now :/
Nathaniel is busy doing hanky panky with Marc
Remember when Dexter beat up Santa Claus on Dexter's Laboratory. That is one of the funniest episodes.
I really don't understand how FANS were the main contributor and major tipping point. Fans aren't one time use, people tend to buy them an use them for years, plastic cutlery would make for sense but fans? Nah, I don't really believe it
The only reason they gave him the bee power is to fuel the rebranding of its concept from "Subjection" to "Action"
Personally, I like this episode, I’ve always wanted episodes to have other things, like French culture, history, landmarks and places. And some slice-of-life stuff.
I know the show added the transformation to add extra run time but I missed them lol so I'm happy it was in the episode.
couldn’t they just do like candy rappers instead of fans?? it would make a lot more sense that everyone’s trying to meet the CEO😭 I get why they were doing plastic though
Fr
He looks candy-themed already
They were too subtle with their racial discrimination episode, so they opted to just straight up bash us over the head with the moral in this one.
3:54
That's a beautiful freeze frame LMFO
I mean... couldn't they've convinced him to make disposable biodegradable fans?
Who would put warm fresh baked bread in a plastic bag? It would get soggy.
Right. That's a paper bag scenario.
Not the Aussie sperging out about "mUh LoYceNsE!" 😂 BRUHHHHH 🤣🤣🤣🤣 you're a living meme. I love it 🍿
The villan is so realistic except the part that he changed his mind
A better change is the plastic CEO sues the kids and their parents for libel. The CEO lawyer flips the argument to make the kids come off as looking like the bad guys. Some of Marinette friends get angry to the point Hawkmoth akumatizes them into eco-monsters that want to cleanse the city for the planet.
Now that the season is officially over, we'll get a tierlist video for the Akumatizations?
this episode feels like an average season 1 episode where each has its own plot
Totally forgot this was coming out
Whenever I saw anyone mention it at all I was always getting the impression that it'd be some little 1 or 2 minute short that TV networks could edit down to 10-20 seconds and inject into their commercial breaks, not a full episode in its own right.
@@MuljoStpho I didn’t even hear about it I knew there was going to be a episode 26 but forgot about it entirely
11:22 I assumed the Venom was also for the heroes to get the miraculous before turning them to plastic
It is said that the miraculous won't actually turn into plastic only the heroes, so yeah the venom was very pointless.
Why exactly did they think needing to bring back Gabe as Monarch, who is already dead, and creating an akumatized villain would be a great way to teach kids about plastic pollution? They already did this in the main series and my god you don't need supervillains to have an engaging and informative environmental episode!
Man, we need to revive "Captain Planet."
I’m actually kind of goad they didn’t go the route of “it’s YOUR fault pollution is happening, it’s all because you didn’t use paper straws” and instead admitted it’s the corporations fault. But also why doesn’t chat noir just cataclysm the plastic?? He can do that
Keith Silverstein voices Bertrand and he sounds like Colonel Sanders from KFC Because his voice is finger Lickin Good!
Oh my god! 🤭🤣🤣🤣😆
Something i wouldve liked was for lila to just debut her villain form in thsi episode.
Captain Planet is better at environmental messages
Don't forget abt how Tom really can order for 10000 plastic bags, srl ,can he get that much money without bankruptcy?
Not to be THAT guy, but where I live in the US, plastic bags cost .08 cents per bag. Applying that math to the 10k bags, it would be 800 USD. Now that's the price consumers pay, I'm not sure about retailers. But if it's about the same price, 800 for supplies isn't unheard of. Although 10k plastic bags is a bit extreme

I dont know about other streaming platforms, but disney+ canada had this as the last episode, and it was *extremely* jarring to see this right after the finale. When i force my roommate to watch s5, im going to have to remember to watch this episode somewhere in the middle where it doesnt mess with atmosphere as much.
My dad work in a big plastic factory in France.. and yes I pretty sure nobody know the CEO in my country XD
In theory, it may sound like being turned to plastic would immobilise you anyway, but try telling that to Doctor Who. Anyone familiar with the autons?
I heard that the real life family of the dude that invented plastic (or the polimer for it, idk dont remember the exact details) was very very rich and famous (not celebrity famous but just rich famous i guess lol). So i can believe someone could also be famous for it again lol

Thanks for reviewing this episode because I am never watching this show ever again.

This special is only saying plastic is bad thing they dont say that we should separate trash or recycle our trash or put trash in the trash bin its so boring and it repeats that plastic is bad also the students are getting annoying in this show almost everyone
Also companys or toys like lego Playmobil barbie and so on are made of plastic also hasnt Markov that lego brick there?
The budget for this episode was lower than the ocean
I mean the oceand pretty deep..

Wait wait wait- The house boat had the machine and the machine exploded- They straight up blew up their friends home?
