Aaron Tveit looks good, sings great; but dances better than most Fiyeros. I like how his hair looks in this, (which i know is a strange thing to say), but oh well..
I think this predates Next to Normal by a little bit but it's so funny how similar his Fiyero is to Gabe physically, it's as if he's not playing Fiyero but rather playing Gabe playing Fiyero
Next to Normal off Broadway was Jan - March 2008 then he joined Wicked in June 2008 left in November for DC N2N then came back to Wicked January 2009 and left in March for N2N on Broadway lol
he actually alternated playing fiyero and gabe, he would go from wicked to next to normal back to wicked etc. so it would make sense if his physicality was similar
Can we talk about his movement, though? It’s so fluid and smooth! *This* is what should be studied for animation. Maybe I’ll do so myself if I decide to do animation professionally. Edit: He don’t know what do do with his hands. Anybody else notice that?
Everything in Oz is slightly off-kilter, especially the weird dancing! At this point, Aaron Tveit could have played Tony in WSS, but it was too soon for him. Spielberg wasn't ready. Aaron Tveit has a long interesting career ahead.
Don't like this casting. He's not giving me the slimy arrogance. Also his voice is too high for the role. The notes are too low in high range to give that tension and interest. Meh
wow i thought he was the best fyero ive ever seen.... he's hands down the best dancer, which... yk the song is called dancing through life. I thought he was pretty flirty which makes sense, he did do quite a lot of opt ups which make up for the song being low in his register.
It’s a crime how zoomed in this was. Not letting us see the whole of his body doing all those moves 😂
Round of applause to the tailor who fitted those white pants.
i couldn't agree more
@@johnthomas1928 Does your wife know you type these kinda comments? what about your "church" group?
Of course he goes up the octave on "what we come too." This man's voice ... unreal.
That’s not an octave, but sure
It was a perfect fifth. "is (D4) what (A4) we come to".
@TeddyWhispers you don't get perfect fifths you fool
I love his voice but Adam Lambert's version is still my #1.
@@themopie I find out an Aaron Tveit version exists and now I find out an Adam Lambert version exists!?
My god... seriously, Aaron has the most beautiful voice and range and he and those fiero pants are perfect together😏
Aaron is a very extraordinary talented actors. His voice is beyond everything.
Aaron fit perfectly in the iconic Fiyero pants and this role
I love Aaron Tveit. There's no getting away with it.
I’m melting hearing his voice 🫶🏻🫠
He’s the second best Fiyero I’ve seen. My favourite is Norbert Leo Butz. They are both amazing in this song!
The one in the current Australian cast is incredible too.
@@oodles_of_noodles. for sure!

Totally agree, his voice is just incredible but his dancing skills are amazing too. I too love the Peter Pan-ish playful hair he was sporting.
This video made me cry with how amazing this song is.
This song is so friggen iconic! Almost on par as Defying Gravity. It’s so fun to sing along to! He’s charismatic on stage with this performance!
Great performance all the way around: looks, movement, voice.
This is the best Fiyero I’ve ever seen

Maybe it's the pole swinging
i can see that

I’m sorry but wait, he went up an OCTAVE in some areas and I’m here for it! 🙌🏼
he gives me wonderful chills.....

Oh he's sooo smooooth 😅
YES
Enjolras?! But hes fantasyized and a rebel
holy shit he's INSANE
Anybody know who is playing Boq and Nessa here?
Ben Liebert, Cristy Candler
Reminds me so much of Adam lambert’s version
who knows where to find the bootleg?
I can't find one. I'd love to see one though.
His so talented, even all the stuff inside those tight pants deserve a Tony 👀
I’d even change my name to Tony.
Get my fainting sofa and my smelling salts. #OhAaron
