They changing the question about Lady Gaga's A Star is Born to talk about Barbra's and Judy's version is the most musical theater kid energy thing I've seen this year 🤣🤣
So the only one I knew immediately was Jean Valjean. And whilst Les Mis is probably my favourite musical I am surprised that it was so certain in my memory!
Someone should tell Titus that the "Star is Born" version with Barbara Streisand was a remake of a remake. So she was not the original. Judy did it before her!
But did he say her version was the original? What I got from his response is that it's been done and, in his opinion, no one is going to surpass Barbra. I think it's very difficult to believe he doesn't know Judy was the first to turn it into a musical...
Titus UNFORTUNATELY forgot, or ignored, that Streisand’s “A Star is Born” (1976) was ALSO a remake of a remake (1954) of a 1937 feature. each THREE remakes (1954, 1976, 2018) and their respective stars, were actually critically acclaimed considering the story is the same. AND the three stars (Garland, Streisand, and Gaga) are gay icons as well.
Frankly, none of them are remakes per se. But if you want to use the term, the 2018 version has more similarities to the 1976 version than any other version has with each other (which is crazy because the time gap between the first three versions is much smallen than the one between the 1976 and the 2018 version).
@@yuri2604 “none of them are remakes…” are you kidding me? the main plot lines are EXACTLY the same. self destructive (always alcoholic) male star’s career is in a downward spiral. he becomes instrumental in up-and-coming female’s rise to fame, they fall in love, he gets worse and ends up dying. you don’t make a REMAKE if you’re just going to copy the movie/film verbatim. of course, you put your own interpretation in, to try to make something slightly different. but still the same story.
I thought Titus was fun ...Olivia ( who us hands down the best interviewer best questions and everyone is so comfortable around here) and she is having to just carry Titus on her shoulders in this interview but he's giving her nothing lop she is so good at her job lol
Aaron shaking his finger and saying Kylie Minogue, I’m DEAD
He made me think of Ben Wyatt from Parks and Rec.
The way she was so proud to say “Nicollle Kidmannn!” 😭
Aaron IS the king of Moulin Rouge. Ofc hes the only one who got the green fairy question right lol

I loved that. The Streisand one was already the second version too!
@@NameWithoutNumber The Streisand one is the 3rd version.
I just wanna say that I love Barbra but Judy's did the best!
Aaron has so many advantage in this game
He was in Hairspray, he did the Les Mis movie, He did Moulin Rouge musical
and Dove was in Hairspray Live
In WICKED...
Dove and Aaron are a duo I always knew I needed, but never expected to see together. 😍
Aaron doing "Take Me or Leave Me" from Rent is something everyone should see. They slayed this.
I love the fact that Aaron, Dove and Jane have all been in 3 of the shows that they were asked questions about and got them right. 😂😁
Aaron definitely said “whispers” didn’t he 👀
100%
The fact that Aaron was in productions of so many of these musicals lol
Aaron and Dove are such cute buddies! Great Broadway IQ.
Titus is breaking stereotypes and I love it
Cecily mentioning drag race is so iconic, let's get her on as a guest judge!!!
I was just gonna comment about that!!! We love her remembering willow pill!
Dove and Aaron slayed that hahaha
Dove & Aaron really were the team to beat!! Lol love them both ❤ 👏🏾
And, in Dove's defense, in the stage muscial Satine shows up as one of the green fairies...so I give her half credit
Jane Krakowski is so iconic I’m obsessed
HE SAID WHISPERS AND DENIED THAT HE SAID WHISPERS😂😂😂😂😂
The way Aaron was so chill
aaron real quiet cuz he's been in nearly all the musicals they've mentioned BWJSHSJS
dove and aaron, the dream team!
LOL Aaron's team absolutely wins because Aaron has been in so many things on Broadway!
dove is giving matrix vampire, luv it
Speaking of Hairspray, am I the only one who thinks Jane Krakowski would make a great Velma on Broadway?
Tveit owned them all. Damn.
aaron looks incredibly handsome in this. the little chest hair peeking through. god hes gorgeous
ok but now I'm imagining John Leguizamo as a green fairy 🧚♂
I find it hilarious that Dove is trying to correct AARON on Moulin Rouge facts
So the only one I knew immediately was Jean Valjean. And whilst Les Mis is probably my favourite musical I am surprised that it was so certain in my memory!

The irony being that Tituss is the only one that has Valjean’s number in his vocal range 😅
@asnalelo. Not heard him hit a full C before…

The original was with Janet Gaynor and Fredric March, 1937, before they added music.
This musicals game is really good!
shoutout to liv for getting a gaga reference in every interview lol
Jane is such a treasure
Willow Pill!!! Yasss

Ozzy Osborne

Absolutely
You’re lucky, you get to be around Cecily Strong
I was literally yelling at the screen!!😂😂
Judy before Babs, Titus
I got all but the green fairie question.
Kylie deserves more recognition in the US!!
I remember the Key & Peele version of Les Mis: "One at a Time"...😂
Aaron definitely said Whispers on Kittens
I love your accent!
I thought they said 40 years not 14 and I was thinking how old they would have been when they met
I got them all, but the Lady Gaga one! Haven't seen "A Star Is Born" yet... 😳
I thought Titus was fun ...Olivia ( who us hands down the best interviewer best questions and everyone is so comfortable around here) and she is having to just carry Titus on her shoulders in this interview but he's giving her nothing lop she is so good at her job lol
4:50 it speaks for itself
Not Titus being disappointingly bad at this hahaha
I GOT THEM ALL!!! HOLY SHIT IM AMAZING
titus not knowing musicals makes me feel so much better about myself
jane says “kitt’ns” and “mitt’ns”
Tituss is looking good!!
In so proud of myself for knowing the Moulin Rouge answer. Also, Titus, that was disappointing.
Aaron looks like tom holland in 15 years

Tituss HEL YEAH ♥
Has anyone seen Cecily and Jessie Ware in the same room?
Titus did unexpectedly bad
But tbh these questions most of them are musical movie and I don’t think it counts
I got all of them apart from the guys a d dolls one😂
tituss did not want to be there lmao

Seems like Titus isn't a Gaga fan. Not even curious Titus?
Shocked these people know Kylie bc she's not too known/big in America.
It’s 24601
Titus sounds a bit snobbish
I think he was just tired. Looks like this was filmed early in the morning and they do many of these interviews in a row all day.
nope. nope. kylie minogue.
The lady at 3:56 name dropping her friends in musicals 😂😂😂 wtf?
You don’t know that the “lady” is Jane krakowski
This video finally giving me a factual reason to dislike Titus.
Something about Dove just gives me the ick
Someone needs to stop dove from the plastic. Her face is about to cave in like Ariana grandes
Bro dove looks DEATHLY pale, like shes almost purple lmfao
“I’m a Purist”…
…Raves about the THIRD version
