Robin, I really appreciate your time and patience to explain every step! this really helps those of us that need it 🤗 thank you so much for sharing your amazing channel 💖🌺
I just recently taught myself to crochet something more than just chains (which I learned as a little kid). Every time I tried to read patterns, or watch other people's videos, I felt stupid because I couldn't understand what they meant. But yours make sense. I've just finished a 5.5 foot scarf in the Wheatsheaf/Mini Arcade stitch as my VERY FIRST project thanks to your video on it and I'm here looking at this stitch to learn something new for a shawl for myself!
You definitely aren’t stupid Erin, I think people can definitely over complicate teaching crochet and anything creative really. I am just so glad my videos have helped you! A shawl in this would be wonderful.😃🥰
Just wanted to say thank you! I was working on a slipper-boot pattern, and about halfway up the leg they wanted a butterfly/eyelash wool for four rows to add texture. I didn’t have any so looked for a bauble stitch pattern. This worked perfectly!!! I only did one row of baubles with the double crochet row above and below and it looks utterly adorable!!! Wish I could upload you a photo here! Thank you!!!! 💕
Once again Robin, thank you so much for your videos!! ❤❤ Just got back to crocheting, and your channel is the only that has tutorials that I can easily follow. Please never stop posting!
Martin I have learnt so many from this u tube starting from granny square star stitch flat circle Jasmine stitch pop corn and so on wish u all the best from india
Thanks robin I'm making this for my mom I've nearly finished it's so easy and beautiful I'm a newish crocher, I began last October and you've taught me all I know thanks again ❤
Thanks sweetie you’re so sweet to make everything easy and free to us ....I just learn how to crochet 2 days ago and I’m following now your (bee) tutorial and become obsessed with all of your videos so clear and easy to follow
Hello 👋 Robin! How are you my sweet friend! I’m so happy to catch this great tutorial! You are such a great teacher! I love everything you do! Thank you for all your hard work in bringing us these great tutorials!
I got hooked 😉 on your channel!!! I began crocheting this past weekend, and followed your granny square tutorial, then your granny ripple for a blanket, your puff scarf, and now this!! You are amazing, and have taught me so much in the past week. Thank you! 🖤
You did an awesome video on the bobble st..great camera..no flowers.cats.skeins of yarn n the camera shot..ur slow enough to follow.n correct wording..❤❤❤❤
Hi Robin Thank you so much for such a wonderful channel. It takes time to create such a detailed video, edit the video and upload it. I appreciate you explaining things in detail and showing your work up close too. I know a good deal about crocheting but there is so much more I don't know and I learn from you. I appreciate you so much. I hope you have a wonderful and blessed week. 😁💕💕💕💕💕💕
I just recently found your channel and I’m really enjoying it! Your instructions are very clear and you’ve got some great designs that I can’t wait to start on! ❤️
I love this. Robin you always do such neat pretty work. I wish you would put out more tutorials, time permitting of course. Awesome tutorial. Tyfs God bless you
It must be nerve wracking having you nails and hands close up on camera all the time but rest assured you have beautiful hands and nails which definitely adds to the enjoyment of the tutorials as I find I get distracted when people have chipped nails polish etc. I’m new to the channel but addicted already, I love it ❤️
Hi Robin. Nice videos! Can you pls advise as to what ‘size’ yarn and hook you are using? I did look at your link, but it does not say, (from what I gathered). Thank you in advance.
Hi my lovely Robin, thank you for your precise tutorials, and I need your help! For the life of me, and it's been a long one thankfully, I can't do the herringbone stitch neatly!! I've watched MANY tutorials, some different methods, BUT my brain just isn't/hands just aren't computing that knowledge into a neat overall look, so frustrating! I was wondering if you could do a video detailing precisely the process, and save me ripping/ribeting the last of my old lady hair out!! Many thanks!! Monica.
Hi Robin! I’m such a fan!! I’m thinking of using this pattern to crochet a mermaid blanket. I’m going to crochet it in the round beginning from the bottom (tail end) of the blanket and increase in intervals. What would be the best way to increase this patter in the round?
Hello Robin, j'ai découvert votre vidéo sur cette couverture pouvez vous me dire la marque de votre laine, je la trouve magnifique. Votre tuto est super et je souhaiterais crocheter cette couverture. Merci d'avance.
Hi Martine, Yarn used in the thumbnail is this: www.snufflebeanyarn.co.uk/collections/yarn/products/papatya-batik-rainbow-pack?ref=7 I hope that helps.🤗🧶
Love this pattern. But I am having trouble with the offset bobbles. I think the problem is in row 1. Question? I am making a blanket. 203 chains. Does that mean i will have 203 dc counting the skip 3 chains as first dc.
LOL, The bobble rows keep coming up different numbers at the end of the rows with the same amount of bobbles, sometimes 2 left after last bobble sometimes only 1 left 😧, oh well, add where needed.
Follow your tutorials all the time for excellent instructions,do follow a few other uk based sights and am confused that the double crochet I do and you do in your patterns is called a treble, then when I look up treble/triple stitch yet again it's totally different to what I have been doing.......help!
Ah so I use American terminology, not UK so the stitches are the same but with slightly different names :) There is a good conversion chart here: haakmaarraak.nl/uk-vs-us-crochet-terms-whats-the-difference
Next up! How to tackle those ends! th-cam.com/video/GMjstBdp_2E/w-d-xo.html 👈🧶

Love this. I will add it to the projects to do 😊...I am interested to see what type of border would suit this pattern? Thanks Robin.
You’re welcome Robin and choose from these: th-cam.com/play/PLP0pPGx0kI89mFLK-9nH2qaEvzMJP0rD6.html&si=iOJyNEG7p21NeVyn 😃🧶
Hi Robin. Nice videos! Can you pls advise as to what ‘size’ yarn and hook you are using? I did look at your link, but it does not say, (from what I gathered). Thank you in advance.
Received my pack of yarn today. It is beautiful. How often do you change colors?
I did 4 rows of each colour :) (so I had 2 dc rows and 2 bobble rows before changing to the next colour)
@@HookedbyRobin thanks. Working on this now.
Beautiful and so fun! I wondering it would work With the basic St being HDC to make it denser...
It absolutely would work yes!
Wonderful video as always. Quick question...have you ever done boble stitch in the sound? As in for a cowl?
I haven't personally but you absolutely could!
Hi my lovely Robin, thank you for your precise tutorials, and I need your help! For the life of me, and it's been a long one thankfully, I can't do the herringbone stitch neatly!! I actually have a 99% finished project using herringbone stitch so it is definitely on my to - teach list! :D x
@@HookedbyRobin aw, that's brilliant!!!
Hi robin could you please tell me what yarn you used for your main blanket please thank you 😊
I used the Papatya Rainbow Pack from Snufflebean Yarn :) www.snufflebeanyarn.co.uk/collections/yarn/products/papatya-batik-rainbow-pack?ref=7

Any opinions on how this would be for a little rag rug for next to a bed?
Please and thank you ❤️
❤❤❤
What’s the best yarn for this blanket? I’ve tried Lionbrand Mandala but find it to be too fine.
I want to try out this stich, but I don't know what I should make with it...
The bobble stitch makes the most beautiful blankets! 😍
You can make a cushion cover too
6am uk. How do you stop it curving?
Love this pattern. But I am having trouble with the offset bobbles. I think the problem is in row 1. Question? I am making a blanket. 203 chains. Does that mean i will have 203 dc counting the skip 3 chains as first dc.
Can you show me where to video us to crochet the icord blanket?
I am crocheting a baby blanket which has nothing but Bauble stitches. Please let me know how to count stitches and rows. Thank you in advance.
LOL, The bobble rows keep coming up different numbers at the end of the rows with the same amount of bobbles, sometimes 2 left after last bobble sometimes only 1 left 😧, oh well, add where needed.
