I do not own this song and had nothing to do with it. I'm just temporarily uploading it because all the versions on TH-cam are heavily modified.

I think its "to thank you" instead of "to have you" idk its just what i hear and i think it makes more sense
It's not "have you" it's "thank you".
The singer doesn't want to go back with their ex-lover, they want to thanks them because he grew and found somebody new that changed his life thanks to breaking up with their ex.
First verse accurately sums up my life rn

It’s basically the backstory of Shinji if you look at the title, there is a connection with the life of Shinji, because he lost everything, due to his hollow transformation and as the singer sings says,it made him (Shinji) feel like he would never recover and his whole life change as he later on became a Vizard.
