There's a type of pasta here in Italy that is called "tagliatelle", whose shape was inspired by Lucrezia's wavy hair:) It would be great if you could do a tutorial for Frida Kahlo's braids ... she had a peculiar beauty and was also an incredibile woman !
It would be so fascinating to find out what these historical women were really like. I vote for again, heehee, Mme. de Pompadour, although everyone seems to be going for Marie Antoinette: Pompadour is a more interesing personality, imho, and we have a hairstyle named after her, haha.
Maybe you can do lord of the rings women look? (eowyn, galadriel, arwen etc) I know its fictional, but technically its fictional history! But also Princess Diana will be awesome! :)
I would love to see eleanor of aquitaine , lady godiva, andromeda, isolde , boudicca, hippolyta, grace kelly, or bette davis I know ifs alot but I figured options never hurt, :)
your videos are so so interesting! loving the personalities chosen, the whole background you give us on their lives, the music, the hair, everything so entertaining! your channel is fantastic :)
Thank you so much for that video. I love how you created a wearable, everyday history hairstyle. My hair is too long for regular 40s/ 50e vintage hair styles but I love wearing special hairstyles that don’t require lots of effort since I already have curly hair. And seeing this hairstyle based on one of my favourite historic figures and ages made me really happy. Usually Renaissance hairstyles take time and skills that I don’t have so this one is even more special to me. Thank you.
This is just gorgeous! Curly hair is so pretty :) This is the first time I have heard of Lucrezia, so I need to brush up on my history. What about Bette Davis for future videos?
i love this so much!!! thank you for being so informative. could you possibly do another Lucrezia Borgias hairstyle video, this time based off the tv series The Borgias?
I love this series so much! I've worn a few of these very old styles out and been complimented many times on them being very 'different' :) Following on from Lucrezia, I was wondering if you could do a piece on Catherine de Medici? I found her very difficult to find much information on cosmetically, but she has always been a very interesting figure to me. Thank you so much and keep up the great work! :)
I love Love LOVE these awesome series that you make!! :D I wouldn't hate seeing one on Carmen Miranda (Maria do Carmo Miranda da Cunha) or Frido Khalo!!
Yay, Lucrezia! The tv series is really cool. I'm always curious about stories evolving around them and the Tudor family... For suggestions, we have Grace Kelly, Princess Diana, Esther Williams, Marilyn Monroe, Farrah Fawcett, Angelina Jolie, Scarlett Johansson, Brooke Shields, Sophia Loren, Natalie Wood, ...
I love you videos so much, especially your series, all your vlogs, everything. Your videos helped me through a difficult time a year ago, and I always get excited when I see a new upload. Could you please do Clara Bow? the original 'It' girl.
Hi Loepsie, thanks so much for this beautiful video :) just a question, what is the mark of the "tool" you use to curl your hair ? (sorry for my bad English :/) ahah thank you !
I know they both have pretty short hair but Clara Bow or Bette Davis would be so much fun makeup wise. Madame de Pompadour would be pretty fun as far as hair is concerned, and would satisfy those asking for a late1700- early1800 France look (i.e. Marie Antoinette)while sparing your hair the madness that was that hair history episode. (Ps. It may still be my favorite hair history, though 😉)
I came for the hair and stayed for the history! It's surprising that there isn't a lot of information about her. You'd think there would be more records since it was such a prominent family.
You messed up in the beginning, you said Lucrezia's first two husbands were murdered. That isn't true, she gained a controversial annulment from her first husband (Who went on to marry again and live a pretty long life) and her second husband was murdered.
She was actually a very virtuous woman. The majority of all of the slander against her were brought about due to the wealthy Italian families who did not like her father. It is a shame what people were able to get away with due to lack of accountability and no internet.

Beautiful hair style! I would love to see a video on Eleanor of Aquitaine, I find the history of her life so fascinating!
Maybe you can do lord of the rings women look? (eowyn, galadriel, arwen etc) I know its fictional, but technically its fictional history! But also Princess Diana will be awesome! :)
She has actually done a bunch of lord of the rings themed tutorials already, they're great :))))
Seriously? Cause I haven't seen them haha they're probably old than huh?
I would love to see eleanor of aquitaine , lady godiva, andromeda, isolde , boudicca, hippolyta, grace kelly, or bette davis I know ifs alot but I figured options never hurt, :)

i love this so much!!! thank you for being so informative. could you possibly do another Lucrezia Borgias hairstyle video, this time based off the tv series The Borgias?
She is my ancestor. My family comes from Spain with the last name Borjas, the name changed over time from the Borgia family name.

Loooove the hairstyle. I was looking for something fancy (kept away) but would take little effort... braids are too time consuming.
Princess Diana, Charlotte Brontë. :D
Petrarch's Laura and Dante's Beatrice Portinari and Boccaccio's Fiametta/Maria D'Acquino.
Could you please do the white queen, Elizabeth Woodvile :)
This one would be challenging to do as the headdresses are elaborate, but I nominate Hurrem Sultan!
I first heard about the Borjas in the Assassin's Creed games lol. I think Lucretia was a character in it too
Please do Isolde. Everyone says that it’s only a Celtic legend. But hey, why not.
I came for the hair and stayed for the history! It's surprising that there isn't a lot of information about her. You'd think there would be more records since it was such a prominent family.
