Personally I think the problem with the game is the leveling system since you can severely overlevel yourself before bosses, the first big boss (the lady with the big hammer) , was actually quite difficult for me since I was still maybe level 20 and all the perks were broken on launch and only half of them actually worked. I died a couple times to her and thought the rest of the game would be just as difficult since it was getting harder and harder for me up to that point. So I did the RPG thing of doing a bunch of side quests to level up , boom level 50 street cred and I was at about level 40. By the time I got to the final mission I was level 50 and had good gear, I thought it must be a max level area, its the end of the game, why would it not be? Lo and behold the last mission is so easy I killed Adam Smasher in 3 hits total, without doing the quickhack that deals big damage to him. I later redid the mission with a even more crazy build and 2 shot him, purely because I'm pretty sure it is hard coded that he has to survive with at least 1% hp. The biggest challenge I had in the game was the melee bosses in the wrestling questline, the first 2 were reasonably difficult but for the last 3 fights it required me to cheese the game hard. Razor, the last fight in the questline, and I'm pretty sure the strongest boss in the game, could 2 shot me with a maxed out HP and defense build, with legendary quality gear with armadillo mods slotted , and heavy attacks dealt maybe 4% of his HP. Now that was a boss fight. Then CDPR nerfed the whole Razor questline, since apparently it was actually bugged and the bosses werent actually supposed to be that difficult.
@@C4Cole05 With the street fighting it was the second boss maybe? The guy who can't take a loss but has a good sniper rifle as reward. The mechanics were really annoying as he locked on your and puched through all types of guards and whatever. The big last match was not easy for me, but not hard either as you can dodge his charge pretty easily. But definitely the boxing was the most annoying/hardest part of the game OR the boredom of lvl-ing up crafting. Even glitched it was stupid.
It felt like David and V could take down Smasher in an epic, dbz-esque fight, had this just been a sci-fi epic. But this is cyberpunk... The sub-genre where you either live the quiet, miserable life or a blazing glory of death.
God of war did well with their bosses ... thats how adam smasher fight shouldve been and not like like a bethasda skyrim rip off type a game mechanics.
You forget about chad that is Morgan Blackhand who casually dueled Adam Smasher after that borg ass begged him and easily lives to this day. He's so chad that he deleted himself from Cyberpunk 2077 to not be part of that garbage, pitiful, no balls game that corpos call "punk".
It would be nice if he was given a hyper aggressive AI that never backs down and never lets up the constant assault that is represented in the anime. Like, runs out of ammo? Goes in for melee. Looses his arm? Keeps going in for melee but with kicks or something. Finally down to the last stand? Chooses to self detonate to kill you are something.
I agree the adam smasher fight was a bit easy, but it still looked cool when i played it. I don't know if your game was bugged/on easy or smthn, but he never just stood around or hobbled away like that for me. Even when he did go into "retreat mode" He would have dozens of rockets shooting out his missile pod to cover his retreat while he would be fully sprinting.
i could say the same of the games max-tac cause max-tac in the 2020 are all borderline cyber psycos themselves and are chromed out to shit not to mention well armed and each specialized to make the team more effective not to mention presuming the "perp" isn't in a coporate or otherwise high end part of town they have no quams dropping entire buildings on cyber psycos not to mention if it's bad enough just resorting to dropping large scale heavy ordinance even if it means levelling an entire city block and everyone in it
Wait so the trailer girl is actually NORMAL for a max-tac recruit? If you actually meet her in game she claims they usually just kill the psychos instead of trying to rehabilitate them. Someone's full of shit.
@@DGneoseeker1 yeah normally if your not someone important or near someone important collateral damage is very much only a part of their vocabulary cause it has to be and they'll just shoot ya now if your someone important or near someone importants house They MIGHT drag your ass in for rehabilitation But their just as likely to shoot you WITHOUT dropping a whole ass hab unit on you
Yeah....but that's not the case. All the boss rights in cyberpunk 2077 are too much rushed because how the game was and literally you could kill anybody with just a stick
before watching anime: "LOL adam smasher isnt that tough" after watching anime: "dang .... Looking back at it .... V really must've been a monster among monsters" lol either way, both badasses, and feel like it through storytelling....not through "gameplay"
when the game came out i literally realized that the mele build was extremely broken shooting did less damage than hitting with the katana, so adam was the easiest boss i faced the whole game
For real, I was just making this point about his representation in the anime vs. the absolutely pathetic boss fight made for him. Like I can think of MULTIPLE ways they could have done far better. Dude has a damn Sandy for fucks sake yet he runs around like a 45 year old suburban dad? They should have made it like a story requirement that you get a Sandy slotted yourself in order to actually have a fighting chance, and created a faux time dilation for sequences of the fight.
You know, the combat gameplay they originally showed in the 2018 demo was MUCH closer to the Anime depiction; especially that boss fight against the Maelstrom guy in the power suit. I wonder why they changed that completely.
Night City. Where Legends Died. Either by actual death, or just stop being cool. Either way, once you're at the top, you can't stop the impending doom below you. You can prolong them, but in the end, it doesn't even matter. (Excuse my Linkin Park reference).
i was on that mission as level 20 only and i actually had a hard time, seeing how everyone saying he was easy seems weird to me lol. i did rush the campaign
So disappointing... I was expecting him to be like the anime when I bought the game. I hope he gets a full update to resemble the anime more in his boss fight.

V following around adam smasher to hit him with a plastick clock is honestly what the character deserve for killing becca
Cry
Bro:(
It felt like David and V could take down Smasher in an epic, dbz-esque fight, had this just been a sci-fi epic.
But this is cyberpunk... The sub-genre where you either live the quiet, miserable life or a blazing glory of death.
God of war did well with their bosses ... thats how adam smasher fight shouldve been and not like like a bethasda skyrim rip off type a game mechanics.
Metal Gear Rising called and calls you a puss.
@@drenx87 but this isn’t god of war
Like at all
David's trump card gravity weapon didn't do anything to Smasher, and Smasher casually rips him apart, what could David do in this scenario?
It would be nice if he was given a hyper aggressive AI that never backs down and never lets up the constant assault that is represented in the anime. Like, runs out of ammo? Goes in for melee. Looses his arm? Keeps going in for melee but with kicks or something. Finally down to the last stand? Chooses to self detonate to kill you are something.
Dies? COMES BACK SOME FUCKING HOW OUTTA NOWHERE
When he started running in the game I stared to laugh so hard I'm dead 😭🤣🤣🤣
1:04 bro that was precious, i instantly remembered of the meme lol
Crazy how Oda was probably the best boss in the game...
Hell, Sasquatch was pretty wild too.
I killed Oda before he could even get up from his initial leap, and all I did was pop sandy and slash at him with mantis.
If Adam actually fought like he does in the anime Cyberpunk would've turned into a fps souls like game
...or a Metal Gear Revengeance boss fight.
1:05 actually caught me off guard
Adam Smasher in ER: Doom guy from Doom eternal.
Adam Smasher in 2077: whatever her name was in Doom Annihilation.
Yeah you captured the difference perfectly. My first playthrough AS would just run or not be able to find me at all.
I like how he gets dizzy when u bonk him
Adam smasher smashing characters in anime:
Adam smasher getting rekt in game:
They REALLY should’ve given smasher a sandevistan, and very aggressive AI for harder modes
Wtf he doesn't have one!?
0:46 HE'S COVERING HIS HEAD HAHA
"Nooo please don't hurt me 😭😭🥺💔"
Jeez. And I thought the Dark Lord boss fight in Doom Eternal was underwhelming.
hes actually RUNNING AWAY ???!??
i mean i knew he needed a rework but good god
I can't wait for modders to turn smasher into an absolute nightmare of a boss.
I agree the adam smasher fight was a bit easy, but it still looked cool when i played it. I don't know if your game was bugged/on easy or smthn, but he never just stood around or hobbled away like that for me. Even when he did go into "retreat mode" He would have dozens of rockets shooting out his missile pod to cover his retreat while he would be fully sprinting.
did you use any netrunning at all?
@@gabe2135 no, I didn’t put a single point into intelligence. Did the whole game including the smasher fight Analog.
@@BewmBeatz with even basic quickhacks you can basically cripple him.
@@gabe2135 disable cyberware, eh?
Nah the boss fight is dog dogshit
i could say the same of the games max-tac
cause max-tac in the 2020 are all borderline cyber psycos themselves and are chromed out to shit not to mention well armed and each specialized to make the team more effective
not to mention presuming the "perp" isn't in a coporate or otherwise high end part of town
they have no quams dropping entire buildings on cyber psycos not to mention if it's bad enough just resorting to dropping large scale heavy ordinance even if it means levelling an entire city block and everyone in it
Wait so the trailer girl is actually NORMAL for a max-tac recruit?
If you actually meet her in game she claims they usually just kill the psychos instead of trying to rehabilitate them.
Someone's full of shit.
@@DGneoseeker1 yeah normally if your not someone important or near someone important collateral damage is very much only a part of their vocabulary cause it has to be and they'll just shoot ya
now if your someone important or near someone importants house
They MIGHT drag your ass in for rehabilitation
But their just as likely to shoot you WITHOUT dropping a whole ass hab unit on you
Does it mean you all want him buffed in the next patch?
Fat chance , most of cdprojek team now focus on the witcher 4 so there will be bug/glitch patch etc...etc not re-design a fight in game i believe
I.want the entire boss fight changed so it's actually good
Nah, with mods, players can still make him look like a baby, so there is no point in rehauling the fight
The better call Saul theme sound bit on t pose 💀
Adam smasher lore vs gameplay.
I like to think that V became so strong and powerful that even Smasher couldn’t stand against him, just imagine how would V look in such kind of anime
Yeah....but that's not the case. All the boss rights in cyberpunk 2077 are too much rushed because how the game was and literally you could kill anybody with just a stick
V has a keanu reeves tulpa eating out its brain man i doubt V is cracked
Or just bad boss design.
As others mentioned, it was plot armor + bad game design that allowed V to win.
@@jeyd8194 yeah, seems more like this
In anime: NONE LEAVE THE SLAUGHTER HOUSE!! NOT ALIVE!!
in game: shit! I'm leaving this slaughter house! ALIVE!
They need to rework the entire bossfight and maybe eveb add dlc based on just him.
his battery was drained bc he left his usb onahole heater connected all night
Adam Smasher in anime: swole doge
Adam Smasher in game: cheems
Anime: Rip and Tear

Anime: No health bar

Момент с Т-образной позой топ
watching this as someone who only watched the anime feels illegal. the fuk did they do to my smasher?
Anime Adam: The Boogyman
Us fighting him in 2077: The guys who kill the motherf**king Boogyman
Adam smasher in anime become sun downer because he's fucking invisible
True
Wait, you can sneak attack smasher?
Yes
Cdpr needs to make this boss atleast 10 times harder
They would have to hire actual skilled programmers instead of people with pronouns in their profile instead.
When you finally got the villain as a playable character 💀💀
adam in anime: KILL KILL KILL
adam in game: I'm running brother v tryna kill me with a katana OoooOoo
Adam sudden T pose cracked me up
I actually let him Live as this End feels so Underwhelming for such an Amazing Character!
when the game came out i literally realized that the mele build was extremely broken shooting did less damage than hitting with the katana, so adam was the easiest boss i faced the whole game
Thanks for finishing the job for me
The fuckin tpose tho 💀💀💀
Thank you, CD Project, for giving to us an opportunity to take revenge on Adam.
this Saul's sound was ridiculous, loved it
Lmao in my game he was just like the anime 🤣
Damn the level of disrespect, hitting him with that… ahem rod.
You know, the combat gameplay they originally showed in the 2018 demo was MUCH closer to the Anime depiction; especially that boss fight against the Maelstrom guy in the power suit.
I wonder why they changed that completely.
Time and resources
That was completely removed from the game wasn't it? I thought I didn't remember encountering that.
@@DGneoseeker1 The boss fight exists in the final game, but its massively toned down in comparison.
@@xXYannuschXx Was any aspect of shooting a specific weak point present?
@@DGneoseeker1 I honestly dont remember, but nonetheless it wasnt what was shown in the gameplay reveal.

came for the t-pose, was not disappointed lmao
Night City. Where Legends Died. Either by actual death, or just stop being cool. Either way, once you're at the top, you can't stop the impending doom below you. You can prolong them, but in the end, it doesn't even matter. (Excuse my Linkin Park reference).
smasher in 2077 needs a serios rework as anime smasher is on par with smasher from lore cyberpunk 2020
i was on that mission as level 20 only and i actually had a hard time, seeing how everyone saying he was easy seems weird to me lol. i did rush the campaign
Lore accurate master chief
From Adam Smasher to Adam Smashed.
So disappointing... I was expecting him to be like the anime when I bought the game.
I hope he gets a full update to resemble the anime more in his boss fight.
Bruh Adam smasher needed to be a boss in a from software game. Really the only chance he had of being just as terrifying as he was in the anime not gonna lie
If G1 Michigan and V.1 Freud combined into a super mech that's what Adam smasher should fight like.
@@almalone3282 ya know…. That makes sense

In my first playthrough of the game I didn't know how to level up my skill trees. So I was like level 4-5 in everything. I still beat Adam Smasher with pistols.
Mannn smasher shoulda been dark souls boss worthy...
You.....who are you to challenge me.....
Gave me chills in the anime

They should've made him more aggressive and barely ever flinch.
They General Grievous'd him
