I can relate. Loneliness is a big one that I deal with constantly. No family, no friends, just me. Loneliness and being isolated can really start playing tricks with the mind. Wishing you the best, hang in there.

Sean K. You at least have parents home. U can imagine how much more are they worried those who doesn’t have parents close by. But God is good. There is still hope.
But these are good worries with incentives. The worrying of being stuck with your parents and not being independent should serve as a motivator, not hold you captive.
I'll trade with you, haha. Don't know how helpful this will be but you can always try seasonal work in resort towns. I'm stuck in that, myself, but I've found that the people who do enjoy it were worrying about the exact same thing so give that a shot if you're like OP, I guess.
One trick I learned which has been helpful is to list daily worries on a monthly calendar. After the month passes, look back at your daily notes and notice ... few if any of the anticipated worries actually occurred and realize the waste of energy spent. This tends to build positive momentum for me. After a few months looking back... it wasn’t so bad. 👍
I am worrie about moving out from my parents home to another city for working, I don't want to stay in empty house. I love being with my dad and my mom but there's no chance for my major inside the town
It's helpful, thank you 😊 I recently started learning how to be present and just now I notice that taking care of the present moment is all that I really need, future never comes and so getting from one moment to another is literally taking care of whole life. And 99,9% of the times I am safe in present moment and so for me it is sort of like a safe space to be, and the only real place I could be at 🌻
I have fear of going thru another year of horrific insomnia (not sleeping 2-3 nights in a row), it started from health issues (adrenal fatigue), so since I know it (insomnia) did happen, now it's a horrific truama I endured that I worry will happen again. So my fear is fearing more truama which causes me to miss out on sleep and my fear actually ends up happening. Ugh the cycle is so hard. Thanks for your help
I have had insomnia often on since I was a child. I take a low-dose of an antidepressant called amitriptyline, which helps. There are other medications that are non-addictive that I have used. You should talk to your psychiatrist about these options. Some of my group members have used an antipsychotic called Seroquel which really knocks them out.

It's almost 3 am i cant sleep because im scared of not waking up or fear of death they say... but im not really scared of dying... Im scared of losing my desires... Reminds me of Tony Robbins pattern interrupts. I admit it can be easier to have someone else positively interrupt my negative thoughts than myself. I say positively interrupt because sometimes spouses for example can do harm than good.
@@DouglasBloch works better if someone else can also help break the pattern. Suggestions include make a strange noise, ask a silly question, splash of water on the face. Anything to jolt your mind out of its loop. The another approach he recommends is using anchors to refire a positive state. For me, it can be a simple thing such as putting on an old song, wearing a favorite watch, etc. That said, once in full panic mode, it can be hard for self-help. A friend that can help break negative loops can be a real lifesaver.

knowing something shouldnt be done doesnt necessarily means we can stop doing it. i find worries are sometimes beyond our control, they just keep popping up in my head no matter how hard i try not to think about it even though i know worrying is completely useless. just like OCD...everyone knows washing our hands a hundred times a day is idiotic and yet we cant stop doing it. worrying is somewhere along the same line.

Ive noticed this phenomenon as a stock trader, You get into a stock expecting it to go up, your first thought is “this thing is gonna tank on me”. Now, you take that same stock in its exact same position and you short it, expect it to go down. Whats the first thought? “This thing is gonna skyrocket through the roof on me” The solution is very simple, if its not going in your direction get out. The problem here, that’s related to any activity you’re doing, is that emotion, “worry”, can be so strong it can blow up in your face. This is not abnormal behavior, in fact I think being totally oblivious to any potential problems is abnormal. There are some great techniques here, but how do you make them stick, become a lifestyle without daily medication? and is that even possible? I can meditate myself into thinking this way, but it’s very difficult to maintain in the heat of battle. I know people are gonna say “It takes practice” but fight or flight is a much stronger adversary than we give it credit for. Im just looking for solutions.
I guess I have a true problem with "surrendering" because of situations I've been through. My mind is my gift and my curse but I'm working towards it just being my gift forever.

I don’t have specific videos. But the principles in this video would apply to worrying about family. If someone in your family is suffering from depression, I do have a video called “when someone you love is depressed.“
Techniques only appear to be suppressing and controlling the worry by doing something special or paying attention to something else funny, or by inspiring ourselves. But it doesn't remove the root cause of the main problem that is strictly relevant to issue which is worrying us. How can we deal with that? How can we prevent ourselves from returning back to original problem after relaxing or rehabilitation sequence ends? That seems impoassible.

You can use the technique that I described in this video but if that does work then you can seek out a mental health professional who works with anxiety.
Worry about everything and feel sad in every moment, it's chronic and felt acutely every hour of every day. cannot see myself ever being happy or free of extreme worry, sadness and the existential gravity of grief like feelings. Not sure if it's cos I was born an extreme empath and HSP, INFP too, but I feel so alone living like this. I know no-one who feels so gutted on an hourly and daily basis due to all the suffering in the world, including my world, that causes agonising and futile pain that will never be escaped from. I learned to grieve before I learned to breath, and it has never left me. Everything feels hopeless, and every moment is an act. There feels little hope except worry and sadness until the end comes.
I’m sorry you are feeling so much pain. Have you tried any medication? There once was a book by a writer named Dion fortune called psychic self-defense which was used to help people protect them selves against negative influences. You might want to check to see if it’s still in Print.

I worry about something new I wanna experience for example going on a new cool ride and then I’ll worry what if someone in my school goes before me or someone I hate goes before me then they say I’m copying or what if something comes in the way so I can’t go and that makes me think about that again and again I don’t know what it is and why I worry about these things
I loved ❤️ the phone interruption. I shared your laughter.! 🤣 A "teachable moment" for me. An occasion to recognize that it's OK: no, more than OK! It's impossible for anyone (and that includes me...) to be perfect. Sometimes I feel as though I am charged daily with practicing self-acceptance that I can no more be perfect than I can fly. I composed a response for times when I am witness to an adventure such as yours; "I love it when the humanness that is oh, so evident in me, shines occasionally in someone else." I am learning about laughter. Learning to laugh with others and to laugh at myself. I'm learning that when I make a slip, the vast majority are not judging me harshly. They laugh with me, not at me.

worry is result of alot of tragedies and miscommunication within your family but tats why we go to nature neutralize those negative thoughts

Try substituting another thought for the worry when it comes up

How can we deal with that? How can we prevent ourselves from returning back to original problem after relaxing or rehabilitation sequence ends?

Douglas, thanks for your video. How do I stop thinking about death. I become fearful of death and always think that one day I will not exist in this world. I have made the a annoying habit.
You can use the technique that I described in this video but if that does work then you can seek out a mental health professional who works with anxiety.

Worry about everything and feel sad in every moment, it's chronic and felt acutely every hour of every day. cannot see myself ever being happy or free of extreme worry, sadness and the existential gravity of grief like feelings. Not sure if it's cos I was born an extreme empath and HSP, INFP too, but I feel so alone living like this. I know no-one who feels so gutted on an hourly and daily basis due to all the suffering in the world, including my world, that causes agonising and futile pain that will never be escaped from. I learned to grieve before I learned to breath, and it has never left me. Everything feels hopeless, and every moment is an act. There feels little hope except worry and sadness until the end comes.
I’m sorry you are feeling so much pain. Have you tried any medication? There once was a book by a writer named Dion fortune called psychic self-defense which was used to help people protect them selves against negative influences. You might want to check to see if it’s still in Print.

I worry about something new I wanna experience for example going on a new cool ride and then I’ll worry what if someone in my school goes before me or someone I hate goes before me then they say I’m copying or what if something comes in the way so I can’t go and that makes me think about that again and again I don’t know what it is and why I worry about these things
I loved ❤️ the phone interruption. I shared your laughter.! 🤣 A "teachable moment" for me. An occasion to recognize that it's OK: no, more than OK! It's impossible for anyone (and that includes me...) to be perfect. Sometimes I feel as though I am charged daily with practicing self-acceptance that I can no more be perfect than I can fly. I composed a response for times when I am witness to an adventure such as yours; "I love it when the humanness that is oh, so evident in me, shines occasionally in someone else." I am learning about laughter. Learning to laugh with others and to laugh at myself. I'm learning that when I make a slip, the vast majority are not judging me harshly. They laugh with me, not at me.
