I'm a middle school English teacher from Rakhine state, Myanmar. As my country is in the lists of developing countries, proper method of teaching are less. That's why ,I have been using your method to teach my students effectively and properly. Thank you mam so much .I love the way you teach
I love the cool manner in which you go about explaining different aspects of English grammar. you ve a soothing voice and no false and superficial manners and ypur lessons re so clear and to the point.
Thank you! They mean different things: I learned a lot from you. = You taught me a lot (as a teacher). I learned a lot about you. = I received a lot of information about you.
I will never be tired of saying how wonderful and useful is this channel. I highly recommend it to everyone who wants to learn and improve their english skills.
I really like this! Thank you so much, teacher. Because of you, my knowledge about using the correct prepositions has improved significantly. I'd just like to ask when should the preposition 'with' used with the verb meet? I got slightly confused here. I should admit that I'm a C1 learner, yet I'm still learning a lot from your amazing channel. I can't thank you enough.
Thank you! Your English is indeed very good, and it's nice to read that my lessons are nevertheless helpful to you. meet someone = get introduced to them meet with someone = come together with someone
As a native english speaker I only rate this lesson as fair. Some of the prepositions could have been used in many of the sentences. There were varied options not just the ones shown. Plus there are many more prepositions available. Perhaps they are taught in other lessons but I won't bother looking.
Thank you minoo ma'am .... I am really grateful to you.....as of Eid there are holidays in my school so there are no classes as of now...that's why I am watching your video....it's really amazing...thanks once again
I have a lot of mistake to use these preposition incorrectly but now i clearly understand and know how to use it correctly, Thank you Anglo-Link for help
This channel deserves to have as many subscriptions as it can because it is very useful and helpful for all persons who are intrested at learning english , big thanks to minou for your outstanding lessons , keep us up with all updates
Dear Miss Minou, The lesson is very useful and helpful. Hats off to you. You are, indeed, an excellent English teacher. I learn a lot from your different video lessons. Hopefully, you would make many other video lessons in the near future. Thanking you for your precious support in providing useful tips about English grammar. With warmest regards, Fazil ( Pupil )
Great video! RE the verb ask, I agree it’s used without a preposition in most everyday context but I’m pretty sure I’ve heard it with both ‘of’ and ‘to’ in something like ‘I’ve asked this question to/of several experts.’ So ‘he asked a question to me’ might not be entirely incorrect?
Hello Mansour. Indeed, if you put 'question' in the direct object position (he asked a question ....), you will need a preposition (of or to). However, with 'ask', it's a lot more common to put the person in the direct object position, especially when we use a name or a pronoun (Mike, me, him, ...). In that case, you must not use a preposition.
Thank you for the great video, Ms. Jade. I have a question. Do prepositional verbs include both intransitive verb + preposition and transitive verbs + preposition? After watching your video, I come to conclusion that the verbs that followed by preposition are intransitive verbs or verb that can be an intransitive and transitive. Am I right?
Good question! Actually, I would consider all prepositional verbs (listen to, look at, etc.) transitive because the meaning is incomplete without an object. Phrasal verbs, on the other hand, can be transitive or intransitive or both: Transitive: look up, look into Both transitive & Intransitive: calm down

for the verbs with and without prepositions is it the same meaning if we don't use the preposition or it depends on the contexte
It usually depends of the context, but not always: See my answer below about 'meet' & 'meet with'.

I mean.....
Do prepositional verbs include both Intransitive verb+preposition and transitive verb+preposition?
