"Money doesn't grow on trees", and "Money doesn't fall from the sky" - both the expressions are used in my native language (Russian), too. Thank you a lot for the useful lesson!
Thank you dear Lisa for your great efforr and teaching, Instead of 'money does not grow on the tree" in Persian language we say "money is not the grass for bear".
@@noorullhaqhaqparast9245 you should not reply on pdf file because it makes you become lazier. Instead, you should write each new word or new idioms on your notebook and practise pronouncing them. By doing so, you can practise your listening + speaking + pronunciation skills all at the same time, and you can remember the lesson for a long time.
Hi Lisa, I really enjoyed this episode. It was so productive. Also, I think the best part of each episode is the final self evaluation quiz. That gives a good sense of high-far We have learned.
Actually we are using most of these words in persian so its very easy for me to understand, thank you very much madam lisa, you are a Great teacher.actually i had a teacher like you when i was studdid in America.

Great video. Thanks for your work. If I'm speaking to a native speaker and they use a word, expression or phrasal verb that I am not familiar with, I just ask them to explain what it means. And believe me when I say that some people find it hard to explain idioms and expressions. I live in England and there are lots of expressions in American English that are not very common here so we dont use them.
yeah. Just like the question, I'm asking myself constantly .why they don't speak the way I've learned? so, I have an American friend and sometimes understand him "barely".thank you that you are trying to teach the real American language to learners.
Dear Lisa you achieved your goal as I via thee videos imroved my english .now it seems to me that learning can be entertaning and easy with them. thank you for your attempts. endless respect as you are trying just for the benefts of us.

Money does not grow on trees, similar to this one, in turkish, we dont collect money from streets. Thanks Lisa,as always, I have watched your videos again and again so much so that I have learned and understood and realized a new way of expressing, a new word, first and foremost, my listening skill had been improving apart from new phrases and words. Tons of Thanks to you.
Hello Lisa, thank you ever so much for this and all your vocab-videos and for all the time and effort you put into them. They do help me to improve my English. In the quiz, by the way, I got everything right on the first go.
I am watching your videos to improve my English speaking . My vocabulary level is incredibly improving. I can,t thank you enough Lisa. keep posting your astounding videos. many thanks.
Hi. Deary Lisa! Your lessons so wonderfil! Thank you so much! You are my role model for helping me to understand native english! I wish you a lot of healthy and wealth!
oh, I came across the expression "hush money" related to the payments Donald Trump made to Stormy Daniels. If I recall correctly it was Trump's lawyer who made the payment to Stormy Daniels on Trump's behalf. Having said that this is another excellent lesson from Lisa and Drake. Thank you so much for your passion to teach English, Lisa.
In urdu language the expression " money doesn't grow on trees " is said like so " paisa darakhton par nahi ugta " which exactly the same as in english Thanks Lisa good job
Thanks Lisa for a really useful lesson. In Russian we have the expression "Money doesn't grow on the trees", also we have expression "Money to the wind" it is very close to "Money down the drain".
It is a really useful lesson to learn more expressions in English! I answered most of them, but I need to watch this video one or two times because some of them are new for me! Teacher Liza and Drake thank you so much!
We have a similar to the "money doesn't grow on trees" expression In the Russian language, which is "money doesn't lie around on the road", which implies, that you can't walk and accidentally find money, and it's rather a rare luck than a consistent pattern, so you need to work to get it.
Hello, Lisa😊 Thank you so much for lots of useful expressions related to money. If money were no object, I'd most likely stay in a much cooler place than here during summer.😅😓
I am from Brazil. In Portuguese we have this exact expression "Money doesn't grow on trees" that is "Dinheiro não cresce em árvores" or "Dinheiro não dá em árvores". However, it depends on your point of view because if you have a farm with 2000 mango trees, then "Money grows on trees". 😉✌🍀
I had different, as it turned out erroneous, understanding of New Money and Old Money. Thank you for the great explanation of the expressions, Lisa and Drake.

Your video is well- constructed and extremely helpful.❤ Thank you! Every time I decide that Im too old to look pretty and "well- groomed"I come across your video and change my mind😊
As far as I know, to American people it's rude to ask for their age. You can ask kids for their age. They are proud to tell and also very specific, like 7 and ¾ ;)
