    I bought these for my elderly dad. They are life changing. No more loosely tied shoes to get the shoes on and off! They are great! He has 2 pairs so he can rotate, they are holding up great. He literally does not ever go barefoot, for safety of not slipping.

    I'm waiting for my first pair to arrive and very excited to get them . Recently had both hips replaced and have issues with psoriatic arthritis. So I'm going to love these!

    Thanks for reviewing them. I need a well designed running/walking shoe and have wondered if Kiziks were just being sold for the step-in feature or had good features other than that.

    I have the Prague’s in black and absolutely love them. I do put in Timberland PRO insoles in them and think they’re super comfy. I wear them everyday and for hour walks.
    And I also wear Hoka bondi’s. The Kizik’s Prague obviously isn’t “max” cushion like the Bondi, but they’re still pretty darn comfy and my go to shoe.
    I also have a pair of the Madrid Eco knit and the Athena’s. Athenas are super comfy also but don’t care for the style as much as an everyday shoe. Thinking about trying the Lima now…

    • @Zachus

      I'll have to try the Timberland PRO in mine. I really don't have any issues though. I don't use them for long walks and stuff just daily wear...

    I have kiziks and I love them. They are comfortable out of the box. However I found the first pair didn't last that long but thankfully they have new models that last longer. The latest one I got was the wasatch model that should last longer although I did just get them. Also I have another pair of shoes made by another company that makes shoes almost like a kizik but more durable and that is zeba but zeba are not as comfortable but at the moment I like both just the same.

    I been wearing skater style shoes for years, I permanently tie the laces and slip the shoes on which ruins the heel part over time. I got The Prague style, love them so far, they slip on easy and stay on.

    • @Zachus
      @Zachus  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      No each style is different. The white ones in the video are harder, flatter, and then the Mesh are medium and the ones for walking/running are softer. Like all new shoes, takes a few days to get a good feel for them too

  • @phaseshifter3d455
    @phaseshifter3d455 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    I was hoping for more information. How long do the shoes last? Are they loose when you wear them without adjusting the laces? Can you take them off easily without bending? If you take them off by holding the soles with your other foot, does the sole tough it out over time? I don't buy multiple shoes so I want to get my money's worth.

    • @Zachus
      @Zachus  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      All great questions
      I've had some as long as 1+ years that I still wear a lot and new ones obviously. The white and grey are my go to in the video. Obviously I can't say how long they will last as everyone wears their shoes differently and does different things in them that produce wear and tear at different rates but they hold up against any 'normal' shoe
      If they are lose then you can tighten the ones that have laces like a normal shoe. I've only had to do this once though. Make sure you get the right size, and you'll be good to go.
      I never bend down to put them on or off. They come off easily. You are worrying about things without just trying them. You have 30 days to wear them inside carefully and try them out. You'll never go back through. I wear other shoes as well but my dailies are these now
      Yes, they come off like a normal shoe. I highly recommend just trying them... then you'll really know.
      Hope this helps

    My Kiziks tore at the base to a point where they are unwearable. They lasted less than 3 months of casual wearing. When I contacted Kizik, I was told this was outside the warranty and offered me a 15% discount on a future pair - an insulting offer in my opinion. I recommend everyone search elsewhere.

    Which Kizik model shoe has the best cushion?

    • @Zachus
      @Zachus  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The ones that are like Tennis shoes or running shoes... if they are more dressy, stylish, flat, these will have little to no cushion compared to something that is really comfortable to walk in. I will say honestly I use CloudFlyers (normal shoes) when I have to do a lot of walking. Kizik is my daily shoes when just running around the house, shopping etc... if I travel to go on tours or go to a theme park, etc... I use walking/running shoes
      My go to right now is amzn.to/3vexO20

    I got two pairs and didn’t like them at all. Great to put on, of course, but they aren’t comfortable for long walks and all day wear. Sole is flat and there’s no arch support at all, they don’t blend to your foot and they’re kind of hard. If you’re like me, wearing sneakers all day, your feet will actually hurt at the end of a long day. Definitely not worth the price. So I’ll stick to my New Balance.

    • @Zachus
      @Zachus  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah they are not for long walks or running. Sorry you didn't like them.

    • @evawilson7090
      @evawilson7090 ปีที่แล้ว

      This is my thought as well. I got mine and they feel hard. I came online to see if others felt the same or if something was wrong with my shoes. LOL I’m like I can’t believe I paid almost $100 for hard shoes that are not comfortable.

    • @Zachus
      @Zachus  ปีที่แล้ว

      Remember new shoes are always stiff at first, give them time to break in. Also it depends on the style. Some of mine are harder and the more tennis shoe/walking shoe types are softer. you can also put inserts in them. It's really about the technology of ease of putting them on and off.

  • @Zandian
    @Zandian ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I’ve got a pair and love them, but not happy that they have phased out so many models. They used to have a lot of variety. Now they only have a few styles and those styles IMHO are not all that interesting looking. I wanted the London…gone. Almost all the styles you have are gone. And I don’t think it’s to keep it fresh because they don’t seem to be coming out with new styles. I think they are trying to cut the costs of a lot of different materials.
    But the shoes I have I do like.

    • @Zachus
      @Zachus  ปีที่แล้ว

      Totally agree!! They've also gone a little woke so... That means they go broke. I'm not buying from them anymore.
