As of May 2023, it has been brought to my attention that Skechers slip ins now offer some wide width.
Skechers INSOLES are removable. It’s so seamless that I made that mistake. As of May 2023, I’ve washed my Skechers Slip-ins in the washing machine, and the insoles did not budge.

I just bought a pair of Kziks and love them. I have arthritis and found I was only wearing my Ugg slippers in the winter or sandals in the summer because I could slip into them. I feel more secure wearing a good pair of shoes. I like the look of the laces & won’t mind if I have to retie them once in a while. Glad to know the Sketchers are a good choice too.

The Skecher slip ins are comfortable and enable me to maintain a sense of independence. I like them better than the Kiziks which all have laces which can get untied and drag on the floor unnoticed, creating a risk of tripping and falling.

I simply double tie my Kiziks so they can't come undone. Once I've adjusted the laces to a perfect fit, there's no reason to untie them. Cool thing is, you can tie/double tie your Kiziks when they're OFF you're feet. So if you have difficulty bending over...no problem!

How do you know how tight/loose to tie those laces when they are OFF your feet!?
      (Plus I don't like the "fake" look - it's like wearing a clip-on tie!)
My hands-free, no laces Skechers just slip on and are super comfortable and IMHO look sharp! No tongue and no laces.

@@utuber1000 To answer your question...I tightened the laces while on and did the pre tie loop, ...then simply slipped them off so I could face the shoe toward me and tie a nice even double bow. So they look nice all the time. They are regular shoe laces so there is nothing fake about them. Just no need to untie and tie them when taking off and putting on. Also the tongue is sewn in so it is minimized and doesn't move around like in a regular shoe.

Lyra, a few thoughts on the lace ups. I have two pairs of Kiziks (Athens & Lima) and my thought on having lace up is the increased adjustment you have for snugness. Also, if over time (I wear my shoes to death) if the shoe stretches you can tighten the fit with laces. As far as laces coming loose, if you have kids you should know the double tie, my laces NEVER come loose. Just some thoughts.

I bought 2 different styles of Kizik. I did find that after wearing them a couple of days they were a little loose around the lace area. Because they have laces, I was able to adjust them for a perfect fit. So I'd like to know if anyone has experience with the skechers loosening after a few wears. Since there are no laces, there is no way to adjust those.🤔 My dad found the the Kiziks too tight out of the box (he has wide feet and bought the wide version) so he was happy that he could adjust the laces also. Just something to think about. I do love my Kiziks.
