    Being so far south, I’m always barefoot. If I go out to the chicken coop, goat yard or garden, I’ll slide on flip flops. Winter cold, I will wear tennis shoes or flat soled boots when I go out. I’ll wait for your update before I consider buying a pair of these, but I am really interested in them. At 64, I’m all about comfort, not style. 😂 Thanks for the update! Many Blessings!!

    Thank you,I am disabled due to lower chronic pain
    I saw a fellow bus rider wearing a leather brown pair.
    She love this shoe brand.
    I heard other reviews and you popped up in the reviews and I said “YES” Heidi from Rain Country.
    I’ve watched you for several years, I learned how to make marmalade from you.
    Thank you for all of your savings with Kiosks and in my home.

    Good morning 🌺 I keep seeing ads on Instagram and wondering about these. I'm always carrying numerous heavy things inside and outside of my home. And my husband has lower back pain so these would come in handy for us. Great timing on this video. Will look into Kizik! 💜

      @@RainCountryHomestead I think kid's sizes usually run a bit wider, so I think I will try them since they are cheaper. If they don't work, then I'll get the ladies size.

    Having slip-on shoes that fit you safely is practical, not expensive. Backyard shoes have to live there and be as dirty as they need to be! Front door shoes can go shopping, but not in the house for indoor usage. House shoes are clean and comfy... Gotta have 'em! Shoes wear out at different rates. They serve different purposes. Thanks for the video!

    Great review. I'm still loving my Sawyer shoes from Softstar Shoes. They are ugly but very comfortable for my flat feet. Only problem is when something falls on them as they are minimally padded all over. I want to try their slip on styles. I also want to try another brand who does limited edition patterns. This time though purchased a new tote bag for work as the lining in my current one is flaking off. It has to be able to fit my work locker. My favorite bag The Teacher Tote is too wide for it. The bags I bought in stores tend to break quickly so I tend to order higher quality ones. I have an L.L. Bean duffle that has lasted a long time. My Teacher Totes still look new. I love my MKI bags but they are either too small to fit everything I carry or too large to fit the locker. I'm using them for storage. The bag I ordered is about the width of my current one but deeper. The locker can accommodate that. It's somewhat larger inside.

    Signed up for Kiosk and got a code for 10% off, not 20%.Tried using your coupon code and theirs and it only accepted one of them or the other. They sure would save my back bending over to put on my shoes, but not in the budget right now. I usually just get Converse new(ish) at yard sales for a few dollars. The only new shoes I've bought in years were my mud boots from Tractor Supply. And they were only $25 and still going strong and I'm pleasantly surprised by that.

      The affiliate code is for 10% off, the referral is for $20 off. I only put the affiliate code because I was hoping those who want the $20 would find someone else who has bought them that could give them the $20 referral code as I have too many of those right now that I will never use

    I got two pair for my husband and I after watching your earlier video. We do like that they slip on easily and seem fairly comfortable, but after you walk awhile they hurt our feet. There is little little arch support. Neither one of us likes these shoes. Morale of the story, some things you just need to try on before you buy.

    • @RainCountryHomestead
      @RainCountryHomestead  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I wear them all day and find them very comfortable. There is just enough arch support. Yes, each person will be different as our feet are all different. This is why I only started with one pair first

    I hope you update this in about valentine's day or let us know if they disappoint you before then 😬 husband was wondering about them for around the house. He is a 6'4" mountain of a man with flat feet! He's heck on shoes, when he worked (diesel mechanic) a $300 pair of workboots would last less than a year before they where: 1) coming apart at the seams or 2)the soles wore so bad he would have to get them resoled. (Its getting nigh impossible to find a shoe cobbler these days🤷‍♀️)

    • @RainCountryHomestead
      @RainCountryHomestead  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I was hesitant at the price but looking around these days, it seems to be a pretty standard price unless you are going for cheap shoes. However, as much as I am on my feet all day and getting in and out of my shoes, it is worth it to me to have good fitting comfortable shoes that I can easily slip on and off

    • @carolineloder2083
      @carolineloder2083 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      That brings back memories for me, as we live in the USA, but my mom's sister and her family live in British Columbia and whenever we visit or when they came to visit they all called tennis shoes/sneakers 'runners' and we just never used that term.

    • @RainCountryHomestead

    Anybody have any input for those of us with REALLY narrow feet? I’d love for these to work - they come in my giant size 11.5 (womens) but I need a narrow. I have “skis for feet”. Lol. I know they don’t “come in narrow” - but any input on if they”run narrow”?

    • @RainCountryHomestead
      @RainCountryHomestead  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I wish I could say for sure, it does seem to me though that the regular width does run a bit narrow considering how the 6 fit in width. I have a very standard width but as noted, they did stretch out some, still very comfortable but since a 6 is at least a size bugger than what I normally wear, it just stands to reason it would become pretty loose on me

  • @paulalynrider4009

    Since you wear these shoes in all kinds of conditions, how do you find their traction factor? I bought some xero shoes for my hubs last year, he says they are very comfortable but they slip on the wet outside surfaces too easily.

      No matter what company one chooses, there will always be negatives. We would have to boycott everything. I do still boycott companies like Starbucks, Nestle, and much more but one day I realized it is near impossible to avoid it all but we all have to make the decisions that suit us best. I needed good shoes that were easy to slip on and stay off and gave me the comfort I needed to get through my busy days and I found it in these shoes

      @@RainCountryHomestead I really appreciate your honesty and feedback no matter what subject. I'm in the high desert and good shoes are mandatory. I had to research steel toe boot brands for a week before I found some non-toxic boots. That's the main issue I have seen in new shoes ; your feet heat up and most shoe brands now use recycled materials and or super cheap materials that when heated, leach toxins directly into your the soles of your feet. I see SO many sneaker brands use recycled materials and charge $100-200 when you can get a pair of Nike runners from the Nordstrom Rack for $40-60. I would love to see people discussing footwear more. The soles of our feet are so important & need to be taken more seriously health wise.
