    Never seen such detail of the moon before. The star's view was incredible.

    I love this area. Been a like 7 years since I been here. Is a beautiful area. Should hike out to the arch too. Just leave at sunrise to avoid the heat some.

      We loved Utah and plan to go back to the southern parks later this year. It’s so different from anything we see in the Northeast. Thanks for watching and taking a minute to comment. We hope to “see” you again on our next adventure.

    Congratulations, this is my favorite video so far. I have a group of friends that enjoy recreational bike rides, and thanks to your videos, we have done 4 trails. This trail is next on my bucket list. Thank you for the inspiration.

    Can you ride your bikes from the KOA to the pathway. If not is there parking close by. Great views we hope to visit Moab in September and ride the pathway 🚴‍♀️🚴‍♀️

      You could if you wanted to. You can pick up a piece of the trail a couple of miles before we did. But you will ride from the campground on the side of a 4 lane highway to get there. The road is flat and the speed limit is 55 MPH then changes when you hit town about a mile in. It’s a main road so there is a lot of truck traffic. It might be 3-5 miles in total depending on whether you stay on the road to where we parked and started or jump on the trail at the edge of town. We found a great parking lot right at the bridge. The easiest way to find it is if you have a Rails to Trails subscription ($20/year). That will give you turn by turn directions right to parking. But it’s a big, popular lot so it probably just shows up on any of your map apps. We hope you get to Moab and take the ride. It’s a beautiful area. Thanks for watching.

    That bike path will be extended a few more miles to the new Utah Raptor state park. The new dinosaur themed state will open next year. The path that goes along side the river will be extended the final .7 mile to Grandstaff Canyon. Don’t know when construction will begin. When that missing link is done it will connect with an existing path even further up stream.

      Thanks for the additional info on this trail. We hope they get construction started soon as a few more miles would be great. That will give us a great reason to return. Thanks for taking a minute to comment and for your support of our channel.

    Where is the parking for this trail head? What time of day did you ride? We are heading there the end of Aug? Restrooms along the trail? Places to stop and eat? Any pointers other than what’s in the video?

      Parking is at Lion’s Park. We rode in the morning on September 19. There are restrooms at the parking area and two further along. There aren’t any restaurants unless you go back into Moab or want to stop at the Moab Giants (dinosaur attraction at the northern end.). I think the video provides a pretty good overview of the 13 miles, plus a small side trip along the Colorado River at the end. We hope you have a good time!

    We are going to Moab September 16th of this year. I was wondering if there is anywhere to lock up your bikes while in the Arches National Park if you wanted to go hike around for a bit ?

    • @Adventuresonebikes
      @Adventuresonebikes  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Arches starts out from the visitor center with a pretty steep road that goes for at least 5 miles before you get to the first place you’d want to stop. There are parking areas, but the park wasn’t really meant for biking, so I don’t recall if there is anywhere other than a tree or maybe a sign pole to chain to. I personally wouldn’t take my bike into Arches because things are pretty far apart, the roads are narrow and hilly, and traffic can be heavy. We only biked on the bike trail past the Arches entrance. We drove into the park and hiked when we found an area that looked interesting to us. I hope you have a fantastic trip.

      Great to know someone is looking t the stuff I write in the description! I’ve seen suggestions that one shouldn’t bother with that because no one reads it :) Appreciate your kind comments and for your support of our channel.

      From Discovermoab.com: "ebikes (class 1) are allowed on the non-motorized Moab Canyon pathway paralleling HWY 191 North, and the non-motorized pathway along the Colorado River beside HWY 128." Class 2 and Class 3 ebikes are not permitted on this path. Thanks for watching!
