Love this! I had the same idea after watching all these other complicated bed setups. This is so much more simple and configurable! Thanks for sharing!
As a retire trailer repairman you did a good job with a handsome family
We bought a trailer the same size to travel with recumbent trikes. My husband would like to build our bed above the trikes and this looks like a great plan. Thanks for sharing.
I was so taken by your superb job making what’s looks like a comfortable place to sleep and you little ones own bed and place to sleep and have her own play space as well I have looked into travel trailers and for the money they just don’t seem to be worth it but in have been looking at cargo conversion trailers I want to sell my house and be a nomad snd travel I’m a retired widow of 25 yrs and I just don’t need this big house any longer but I am claustrophobic so I need space but you build looks great I’m just ready for change enjoy your tiny home you done a great job
We are looking at building another one. Let me know if you’re interested in buying our trailer. It’s ready to go:)
@@4x2WagonFamily thanks I’ll think about it problem right not I don’t have a place to store it since I live in a neighborhood that has gotten so bad in the last 5 yrs if it’s not locked down it’s gone
great video. thanks for filming along the way, the demonstration helps. You are a good teacher.
Cut a bunch of holes in tour plywood so your mattress can breath. You need some airflow so you don’t get mold / mildew on the bottom of the mattress.
Wow Great work and layout 👍 Beautiful family ... your daughter is too Cute
Good job. Your trailer turned out really nice.
Thank you for doing the video. Planning on doing the same with my trailer.
Great job and such a beautiful family.
Thanks for the info on the harbor freight etrack and brackets.
Great video! Great looking family. Thanks for the great ideas.
I like this idea! Great work!
Good idea taking your child to sleep in your camper in the driveway. I've seen kids freak out in strange campers in strange surroundings.
Looks very good. Gave me some great ideas. Thank you.
Thinking you need some holes or slots in plywood bed base.
When sleep you sweat and mattress needs to breath and be ventilated. Other wise you will have moisture issues.
Awesome video, thanks! I have the same size trailer and am going to do the same thing except I have to do the bed lengthwise because I’m too tall to go width wise. So it’s going to be a queen size bed that unfortunately takes up a lot more space inside the trailer than yours. Hope it turns out as well. Would love to see the details of how you finished trimming it out. Thanks again
Nice work! Looks nice. May God Bless.
Very cool Idea 💡. Good Job 👍
Thanks, just what I wanted to see.
Good job, I like your layout.
I enjoyed your video! Helped me make up my decision on my beds even though I went with a slightly different route. Happy New Year!
Looks great - thank you
Pretty cool 😎
Your doing a great job!!
Good idea thanks for video
I have same e-trac design but I didn't screw or nail I used maisonette with 1x2 screwed to the bottom when I put it down it goes next to the 2x4 so it don't shift (comes apart just by lifting it apart )
Good video, thanks for sharing.
Looks great
Cool idea! I was hoping to see you remove it. Maybe in another video you could show how you take the bed in and out? Thanks!
Great job
That’s so amazing i had to subscribe.
What did you use to install the e-track since there's no plywood lining the trailer? Is it really that secure?
I secured the e-track to steel frame with self threading screw. We had 4 people on the bed and it felt secure. I would estimate 550 lbs on the bed:)
Impressive build man. I've been wondering how well those would hold up with 2 adults . Looks great .
Really comfy with 2 adults and a kid in the middle.
How many pounds do the brackets hold?
@@susanwillis1143 I think they’re rated for over 900lbs
@@susanwillis1143prob more than the wall framing they are attached to
Thank you!
Do the wood beam supports wobble? I bet they do.
Is the bed frame removable in one piece
Why do you do your cutting in the trailer just making a mess in there
Nice! How much does the bed hardware rattle when it’s all in place?
@@PopCornSheffield-ow4vm not at all. It’s solid
It is awesome. Thanks for sharing
Nice!
Greetings: The mounting of the E-track rails being "level" is irrelevant since the trailer is mobile, therefore generally not "level". Perhaps wrong term. A common mistake.
Thats cool!
Looks Great! Any issues towing ie: Weight distribution? I hope you had fun camping! Peace.
No issues. I’m pulling the trailer with my Jeep, toyota van, and my Range Rover. Surprisingly the Jeep handles best I think cause of the solid axles and it just feels more stable.
Awesome !!!!!!
How did you locate the steel frame?
Look for screw holes. A stud Finder also works on steel
The screws are lined up vertically on the steel frame. I recommend removing the plywood walls at least once so you can see how it's put together. Don't sweat it, the walls are just 1/4 inch plywood screwed onto the steel frame, and the trim are just thin boards stapled onto the plywood.
any rattle with the wood beam brackets against the e-track system when driving?
No rattle:) it’s been working great!
Where did you get the hexagon backsplash?
Home Depot
Nice best wishes 😊
Super cool!!
Sweet
What is your nationality ? My Wife is Vietnamese. I’m thinking same or maybe Laos 👍
Lovely Family !!!
My Wife and I are picking up a new 7x18x7 cargo trailer with the two back doors next week and gonna do the same as you did for the bedding ! Got the tandem 5200lb axles ...$7300.
Korean
@@4x2WagonFamily
We love Korean bbq !!!
We live in Alabama and go to Atlanta for everything Asian !!!
Is there a lot of Asian population in Alabama?
You crack me up, putting a level on your first bed joist. I would think it be more relevant to be parallel with the floor of the trailer as opposed to being level at this point no? Who knows if you have a low tire, or if your driveway is level?
Haha, good point. The trailer was on Jack’s and level before I started the project.
