People who are sex-addicted & so focused will call uncooperative people flawed, who were initially drawn, thinking such were kind & generous comrades in arms. I’m grateful for the added refinement, clarity & increased patience it engendered in me. The Christian walk certainly is not a passive sport. I don’t claim that my walk has perfectly aligned with my values at all times, but I DO thank God for the gift of repentance and for a Father’s Love that allows us to keep learning from our own experience or that of others, in faith. What perseverance it often requires to walk the Christian Walk, but I’d want nothing less than God’s Best. 😢😮😅Thank you 🙏 for praying for your listeners. Praying 🙏 for you too. In His Name. Amen.
Problems with identity is also related to excess stress and fatigue... It's also about the train of life... It makes you forget who you are... We become easy targets for the enemy to attach us on our identity, self concept, self image etc.. It's makes us insecure as a result... It's important to have peace of God to begin with... Impossible to nourish identity in christ without peace.
Love the sand paper analogy. That describes my situation and I realize that I've been focusing on the other people and not of myself, or Jesus! I'm taking off the old clothes, ruminating and reacting! Praise God ❤ I am reborn and a new creation, I just have to believe the Lord and what He says about me and not what others say about me.
wow the AD was what I needed like 30 years ago. very edifying. what is surprising is the sincere search of these women in their hearts plus they are all beautiful by just listening to them. My perception HAS been lie. Guys suffer from the telling him they are loved or handsome, something blocks them, they embrace it not.
A good way to help with rumination is to write it down. Your brain is trying to make sense of something that makes no sense. Write it down, give it to God. Your brain will be able to relax because you no longer have to remember it.
