yeah, i got a lacerate 1 only so far, but 1 bleed proc is fine, in fact no lacerate still can work but more risky if the RNG for first crit is bad. But you could just rely on ult to close the distance and crit.
I like that when you were getting shot up while doing the puzzle, you didn't pause to cry in the chat about it. You just solved the puzzle. Some people always assume they know what's happening on your screen, and they just think you're standing there waiting on their every word. What they don't see is you're fighting 3 elites at once while they cry in chat, doing nothing at all.
Is it possible to extend the charge distance of Zealot charge? Sometimes it seems like you charge longer than the default distance, and I swear I've accidentally done it before.
The dagger has armor penetration, especially on weakspot hits and crits. And this build also uses bleed damage over time to deal with elites and further boost critical chance.
My witch-hunter legendary Rapier + Pistol build in Vermintide could cut through Skaven like a Samurai sword through Butter...... This Build in Darktide feels like that...
If they would actually finish the crafting system we could make builds versus sitting around waiting on cash shop praying we get something half decent…. One day I’ll actually get to do this build.
It suprised me that you don't use that much your push attack . Since it's faster than charged one and deal thé same damage it's pretty good for bursting élite/spécial. Nice vidéo as usual and my favorite build ATM.

If I'm not using the flamer, I'm using laspitol with high stopping power roll for this build. It have almost the same mobility and crit chance as the knife and the fastest switch weapon and reload animations combined with hight accuracy. The damage is not that great, but the ammo is plenty and you can suppress one or multiple emeies at range until you kill them. The benefit is that becaue of the crits, you can activate Faith Restored consistently from range (usualy every 3-4rd shot is a crit), so you don't have problems even traiding shots with small-medium lasteams in cohirency. Because of hight mobility you can take few shots when you running to the enemy without slwoing down and have Faith Restored even before reaching them tanking the range fire and negeiting a unlucky hit before crit with the knife. Also it eliminates the occulard sitiation when you use your ult to reach a group of enemies, but a granate or void staff kills them at the same moment and you stuck out in the open without anything to hit and proc the damage resistance or cooldown the ult. It's not the strongest weapon, both flamethrower and the bolter are better, but I like it, because it synergise perfectly with this build and I'm not filling like wasting perks when switch to range.
still waiting on the RNG to find a better gun option, but a high ROF auto gun can take advantage of zealot's ult to get full AP on armored elites. Melts carapace ragers and crushers in maybe 1/2 a mag if you point blank headshot them. Shotgun can do similar with the ult too if you want your shotgun to AP. xD
Lacerate is far from top tier now(unless you just don't want to use any skill to kill bulwark). Mercykiller and another trait that works on headshot would be the way to know. Knife typically has over 2.00x headshot multiplier as opposed to most others' 1.5 or so; any hit not against head is a significant damage loss.
This is actually making me more interested in the knife, I whip it out every now and then, but it is pretty boring to play just cutting their ankles. What would be a god roll for that type of knife? Shredder?
Optimal choices are: flamer/shotgun/bolter/lasgun the sniper one idk XII I think, many people don't run flamer with a knife you are zealot you can still deal with hordes with a knife in a pinch, just pick whichever your team needs more. Shotgun I guess is a more selfish option? Its close range special and elite stopping. That gunner/reaper special unloading his entire clip into you and you are stun locked? Shoot him once or twice, shotgun doesn't suffer as much from suppression as other guns, and it has good stun values.
@@ThisIsExile91 Flamer is great for horde clear and controlling specials, if you've got a group of ragers the flamer will take care of them no problem. If you want a weapon that's good at killing elites just go with the Kantrael lasgun.
why do you keep attacking enemies who will die in the next two or three seconds to your bleeds? you're sort of negating the point of a bleed build by not moving on to other targets.
Lacerate builds have high crit chance on already bleeding enemies, and if you do get a crit you get a 75% toughness damage reduction. The idea isn’t to kill with the bleed, it’s to use it to make yourself invincible
@@sundowner8326 i know how the game works, but thanks. and no, the idea of bleeds is to deal damage. extra crit, damage reduction, etc. are just bonuses, not the main reason. a combat blade preacher should be constantly moving, only slashing enough to apply bleeds, then moving on because those enemies are about to die anyway. the combat blade is as much about mobility as it is about bleed. you're still going to crit enough to keep faith restored up, so that's not the reason you run bleed.
I know what you mean, but as others have said, the main thing is just to maintain the toughness reduction. And I don't think it's interesting as content if it doesn't capture the moment of defeating an enemy. Please understand.

When the results of a perk exceed the value of a comparable perk because of a Feat, it's broken.

I think you charge further if you charge towards a target
If you hold the button you can lock on to an enemy there'll be a little red glow around them to show who you're targeting.

Hah I'm running the exact same set up. Tho i don't use flamethrower if party don't need one, prefer combat shutgun with bleed ammo blessing. Nice run
with randos a flamer is just a great all rounder, the blade will kill anything that the flamer does not

I don't think combat blade is a good weapon for most zealot players on Heresy or Damnation.
I notice that in the world of darktide our heroes don't keep a round in the chamber.
