Man, there are just SO MANY beautiful little gems that get stitched together to make this song brilliant. All the different instruments adding their little sparkles here and there, like the sweet sitar fill at 1:06, the two ladies on the violins, or the hollow "rat-tat-tat" drum fill at 2:33, right before that rich syrupy guitar tone kicks in for the solo. Not to mention Roberto's soulful steel slide guitar twang at 3:49. The whole thing just has so much texture and is orchestrated so well, I could listen to this on repeat for hours and still find new things to love about it every time.

Yes, Jimi took that song from Dylan and made it his own. It didn't take Bob long to realize that was the way that song should be played and he began playing it in the Hendrix style. That is impressive and a nod to Jimi from one of the best songwriters ever. You do my song better than I do. It is cool to hear how it has morphed over the years but the Hendirix stylings are the parts that stay.
This would bring Jimi and Bob to tears of gratitude and appreciation. This is special, amazing and glorious on so many levels. This is the ray of light we've been waiting for to shine down on us and give us the hope we need for healing. Thank You.

Truly breathtaking! The musicians are all amazing, and you can feel the sincerity and the hope for a more united world. I'm writing this from my hospital bed, and have been enjoying all of the Playing For Change videos. RIP, sweet Grandpa Elliott.💗

Don't worry about all those who don't like it.
They obviously don't know a good thing when they see it and hear it.
Not sure how many times I have seen this clip, but it still gives me goosebumps. Dylan and Hendrix will be proud of this.
