iirc there was once when Pokémon Go is banned when the game cannot be installed if ur using google play for Malaysia but the ban got removed later. tho Im not sure as its was during the early day of Pokémon Go launched which was like 5+ years ago
If I remember this correctly, Germany's laws on Nazi imagery is only prohibited if it's deemed glorifying of the Nazis. Things like documentaries or films that portray that as the horrible people they were are permitted. Most Western game devs usually just remove or censor Nazi content out of fear of having their games removed. (Censored Gaming made a few videos talking about this topic if you wanna check it out)
And now even games can show stuf like swastikas but this is on a case by case basis in an effort to acknowledge games also as an art form just like movies or books. Movies or tv shows were never banned for anything nazirelated.

Not completly right the reason is because they use Something called "Sozialadäquanz-Klausel" that allows games, that previously would have been blocked, be released the way they are on a case by case basis.
Wolfenstein is available here in Germany, the only thing that's changed, is that there are no swastikas or SS symbols, that's all. I own every single game of the series.

Originally the final level was a school, but you could never kill any of the kids because that's where they drew the line.
2 was banned because it featured the same graphic violence, with the added joke of some really fucked up jokes, as the game is an amazing parody of literally everything. The games were incredibly controversial for a lot of reasons which all contributed to them getting banned in a whole lot of countries

Actually, as a German myself, I can say with with great confidence that Wolfenstein is not banned. It is rather altered, to not include swastikas and Nazi Symbols and Ranks anymore, but all the games are still available to play and purchase, one can even play Wolfenstein 3D on the internet with swastikas because it is considered and art form. (The old game is the art form)
