That plus after the change that allows them to be bred, you can get them to be much more powerful than reapers if you put a lots of time and effort into it. Small bug tho, it seems for now that basilisk generates aggro on everything, including normally neutral creatures like the Beelzebufo and Salmon which is sort of hilarious. Not to mention the new trait mechanics from Bob's Tales which is really powerful but again requires tons of grinding (something this game already had more than enough...)
Stegos can gather wood pretty good as well. People tend to forget this since it was added in the ASE TLC 2020. That being said they are still ridiculously slow. I eventaully end up crafting a chainsaw when playing Ab
This has been the most I’ve enjoyed Ark in years. I’ve never really played Ab much before but now my whole group is on Ab and we are loving it. Not having flyers and always having to fight to survive is just fun.

Could you do like a how to tame video for each of the abberation creatures? I really hate abberation and don't plan on playing it, that new glider thing looks nice though so if it's not too annoying to tame I would give abberation another shot maybe
I might do a video we’re I go over all the creatures and there abilities and how to tame them etc. I haven’t decided though because I don’t want to have to actually tame them for the video but maybe
@@Buttonjira basilisk are easier to tame and both are basically unkillable in PvE. In addition, Reapers got a pretty big nerf in ASA while you can now breed Basilisk, making them even stronger. This placing just doesn‘t make sense
@@Keiken0 reaper is also broken as hell without light pets. And since this is a PVE view, reaper has no enemies with light pets. Also basilisk still looses to rock drake, reaper, spino, rex, and even karkinos
The basilisk has CRAZY weight reduction and amounts. May be an annoying tame, but these guys are perfect for metal runs in the blue zone!

Nah the basalisk is crazy for pve. You never need to tranq anything again since it does STUPID torpor. Seriously you can do like 1500 torpor per hit.

That's not exclusive to aberation, it's just a megaloceros that's why it's not on the list. Otherwise he'd have to put every creature on the map
