Minor point. "She's hungry". She's a Labrador, she was born hungry, she will die hungry and she will be hungry every moment in between, even when she is completely stuffed!
And that is actually very sad if you think about it. Imagine being always hungry and not being able to satisfy your hunger, because some aliens bred you selectively to be this way :(. Humans also bred bulldogs and pugs not caring about their quality of life and now they struggle to even breath…

Whilst the modern Labrador has come a long way from the original St John's Dog, I think the constant desire to eat is probably much older and not a result of modern breeding. We had one once which ate the discarded remnants of someone's packed lunch. The operation to have the metal "crown" bottle tops removed from her stomach was rather expensive!

As for there being no Labradors in the wild, that is correct, there are no domesticated breeds of dog in the wild full stop. By definition. To say that everything that Labradors are is a result of man's breeding of them is nonsensical. We started with an existing strain of dog and bred and cross bred until we got the characteristics that we wanted. We wouldn't have bred for an insatiable appetite, therefore that characteristic existed before in one of the "donor" breeds, it just came with one of the other characteristics we wanted, but it existed before all the same. Besides, all breeds of all domestic animals have been "bred" and shaped by humans to make them fulfill a role. We bred the traits we wanted but accepted the presence of others as neither here nor there.

Back when I had my Golden I had to go on a week long surprise business trip so I hired a pet siting service to come to my home and look after her. I paid them extra to let her out in the fenced back yard twice a day and hang out and play with her for an hour each time. Half way through the trip I get a call from a neighbor saying that my dog was at her house. I call the pet service and they acted like they didn't know. I explained that back yard was surrounded by a six foot tall fence... and that she had bad hips and couldn't jump up on the couch without help. Then it came out that the employee left the gate open and my pupper "ran off", to which I respond "you mean hobbled off leisurely?" cause that all doggo had in her at that point. Man I was mad. They had one job to do... and they still charged me!!!! Plus side... I made an awesome new friend (neighbor) who offered to watch doggo any time I needed because she was retired and my pup got along great with her dogs. I always offered to pay her the same as I had paid the service but she always declined... and my pup always came home smelling like lilac perfume carrying a new toy. :)

Appearing in court or hiring a lawyer would have cost me exponentially more in the long run, so I didn't bother. I did, however, give them bad reviews on Yelp and other sites as well as reported them to the BBB and their local licensing agency.

Always a good thing when an owner lets two dogs communicate without freaking out, even if there's barking and snarling involved. Bella was not gonna get agressive or anything, she was just establishing boundaries between her and Gohan, and he listened. It's always frustrating when people don't let their animals imteract and try to always control them when the dogs are literally just talking.
Exactly. They say ticks are contagious, fuck ticks let them socialize its their life. Clean the baby when it comes back home after socializing that's it. I've seen so many owners telling don't get your boi near mine it's not healthy. Some people are too disciplined and these good bois have to deal with it. There should be discipline and freedom.
That's what a wild dog(that loves you) would do, she's already someone's pet and is probably familiar with this stuff already I think she's just uncomfortable and untrsusty of the house but just him and feels safe with him that's why she was there

Gohan doesn't really try to assert his dominance, its too early in there meeting one another, Gohan is getting signals from his owner that he considers Bella above Gohan, he feeds her first, pays special attention and he feels left out in my observation. When I was a little girl my grandma used to say that angels came in all shapes and sizes. If she saw this video she'd say that you and Gohan are both angels - one in human form and one in dog form. It's so wonderful you took care of sweet Bella. Thank you.
Thank you for helping this dog! I worked in animal rescue for several years and have helped save so many dumped dogs. It's very sad what happens to these loving creatures. I always keep dog leads in my truck just in case. I'm very happy that there are others brave enough to help dogs in need!
What concerns me is that her owners aren’t looking after her well enough. She seemed like she was in heaven with you. And if your dog is missing, you’d answer every single call, I wouldn’t be able to sleep.

This reminds me of when my neighbors dogs got out overnight because a storm knocked their gate open. We called them and told them we have their dogs and they asked if we could hold onto them for a few more hours because they worked as doctors and couldnt get off their shifts until then. Of course we said yes. We're allergic to dogs but these guys seemed to be hypoallergenic. We bathed them and spent a while playing with them and getting their tangles out. :)

For sure. It's actually pretty dangerous to pretty much train your dog to Not show warning signs and communicate properly.

Gohan doesn't really try to assert his dominance, its too early in there meeting one another, Gohan is getting signals from his owner that he considers Bella above Gohan, he feeds her first, pays special attention and he feels left out in my observation. Around the 4:28 Gohan is now challenging Bella, saying MY HOUSE, MY HUMAN, MY FORRD, BED and TOYS ! Gohan isn't bothered by the snaps from Bella, in fact he repeats his attempts to assert dominance. GREATvideo,..so happy it ended well. you are very kind. I liked analyzing behavior of animals, or people and how they interact.

@@hothotheat3000 not all dogs, I have two sister corgis, both walk the same amount. One girl has excessively short nails because of how she walks, the other girl has to have 1-2x nail trimmings a week.

Not surprised she wandered off, you can see she's quite an older dog and it's not uncommon for older dogs to get "lost". She's VERY LUCKY that she was rescued by such good person like you. :)
When I was a little girl my grandma used to say that angels came in all shapes and sizes. If she saw this video she'd say that you and Gohan are both angels - one in human form and one in dog form. It's so wonderful you took care of sweet Bella. Thank you.
Thank you for helping this dog! I worked in animal rescue for several years and have helped save so many dumped dogs. It's very sad what happens to these loving creatures. I always keep dog leads in my truck just in case. I'm very happy that there are others brave enough to help dogs in need!

Once a dog person, always a dog person. Labs are known for being smart and sweet. It's great to know you got in contact with her family and got her back home. Gohan didn't mind having her over. Being the gentleman he is, she could use his bed...

This reminds me of when my neighbors dogs got out overnight because a storm knocked their gate open. We called them and told them we have their dogs and they asked if we could hold onto them for a few more hours because they worked as doctors and couldnt get off their shifts until then. Of course we said yes. We're allergic to dogs but these guys seemed to be hypoallergenic. We bathed them and spent a while playing with them and getting their tangles out. :)
My question is why, in the first place, did they have their dog outside in a storm or when expecting a storm?

If you have neither a car or a phone, then you probably shouldn't be wasting money on a dog. even bums keep track of their dogs better and have neither and they're poor as shit.
