What're ya buying? A cracking week this week. Mark Check out our sponsor's game here: www.nintendo.com/en-gb/Games/Nintendo-Switch-download-software/Tell-Me-Your-Story-2556650.html
Not sure yet will see what my budget allpws on my birthday the 25th , Thanks for the amazing vid as always much Love ❤
Mark in the Appalachias our cheap meat snack is called "big hot dickys" please call out "big hot dickys" next sales video!
The art style for "tell me your story" reminds me of "A little to the left" which was great. Hollow Knight is one I haven't picked up yet and keep hearing about it. 😅 Perhaps I'll get it one day.
Oh awesome my comment last week actually won me something 😮😮 I just sent you an email. Thanks so much.
Waiting for Fallout 4 next gen free update on thu 25th
We appreciate you not using click bait titles. We really do.
Ah nice one mate - Mark
You mean you don't like titles such as 'Switch 2 Confirmed for Late 2024?!?!"
Yeah I second this! This is a that makes me rush to these videos.
Yes, we really really do.
Winning comment for tonight's video
We need fallout on switch
Yes. I don't understand how they haven't ported Fallout 3 and New Vegas on the Switch. Seems like such an obvious thing to do.
maybe they are waiting to do so with the remasters
I want oblivion on switch
@@jedde4248 Oblivion and Morrowind. That would be cool.
I need it sooo bad!
I'm saving my gold and eshop dollars for Another Crab's Treasure but having gone through my wishlist and seeing the incredible deals, this is a monumental exercise in willpower. Thanks SwitchUp, half my wishlist wouldn't exist were it not for you, let alone my mountainous backlog 😅
I am a regular visitor to Deku Deals, check it every morning and afternoon once it updates for the day, scrolling through sometimes 50+ pages, but I always find something new from your videos that I missed. I greatly appreciate the work you both do to filter through the noise to find the best prices for often forgotten games, although my bank account is not your greatest fan.
That "hide game" button on deku deals can be your friend, friend. I too am a regular dd user but always find missed gems here.
I just got The Outer Worlds , Hades, Everspace , and Tales of Iron . Quite excited for them , my backlog now sits at about 50 games .
Outer worlds was awesome, really enjoyed my time with it. Tales of Iron is infuriating bliss yet so rewarding with each boss defeat. So so well done visually, gameplay, and storytelling wise.
A great set of games right there! Mark
I loved Tails of Iron. Just picked up Outer Worlds, and enjoying it so far. And my backlog is over 300...
Bow before your Backlog King,
for mine stretches back to the
days of Xbox360 and PS3!
One day, the dream of getting
caught up shall become reality.
Maybe.
Hades is amazing. I've been playing it since it first released, and I still love to dive back into it.
I can't wait for the sequel!!!
Attention stragglers now is a great time to pick up Hades and Hollow Knight before their sequels come out 🥳
This is why I enjoy your content: plenty of deals and hidden gems to discover. I've actually playing Grounded over the weekend and it is equally terrifying and positively zen along with a few other nifty games. I feel like my palette has expanded because off you gents and I thank you. I put Everspace and Wavetale on my list so hopefully I can get those before the sale ends. Happy Gaming🍻
Thank you mate - that was our intention when making the channel so it's really good to hear it! Mark
I’ve owned the Outer Worlds for years and I never gave it a fair chance. But you guys mention it in such a positive way that I see it’s finally time to do it!
I just picked it up, never played it before. It's definitely like Fallout, that's for sure. But I'm enjoying it so far. About 3 hours in.
@@johnnythewalrus I’m most likely starting it tomorrow, thanks for letting me know your impressions
The pedestrian looks so cool! Thanks for the recommendation
Thanks for recommending Banner of the Maid on a few previous sales videos. You guys are the only ones I have ever seen mention it. Bought it a week or so back and have been really enjoying it.
To be honest I'm over the moon excited for grounded....didn't play it on release but now that it's on switch. Why not
Love the vibes and content you give fast like this. Thanks for taking the time out and being the prolific youtuber l made youtuber you are😎
Thank you mate! Mark
I was able to finally get the Ori games on sale! I also bought Doomsday Hunters when you made the first video about that, long ago!
Great video, my thrusters are so ready for some of these deals...🤣
The Pedestrian is great. Its puzzles sort of remind me of Framed 1 and 2.
Once again the backlog grows! The Pedestrian, Solar Ash, and Wavetale look like fun times... *grabs wallet and switch*..... great video!
I really enjoyed the Europa demo... it's a little empty but the simple pleasure of moving around is brilliant! There's a LOT of potential there, just needs a bit more time in the oven
Watch this space!
Nice video, thanks for the heads up because I don’t think I have played any of these but they look fun I may have to look into these games.
I check in on deku deals myself regularly but there’s plenty of games I’ve never heard of until I watch these videos definitely appreciate the work you guys do here!
13:37 "High Polite Drifter" 🤭
+1 for The Pedestrian. Unique and charming puzzle game - one of my favourites so far this year.
Really good game that one! Mark
I do need me a bucket full of waffles
Best of all the buckets! 😂
Quick question for anyone who has won a free game already or, in fact, Mark or Glen:
What happens, if the recipient already owns the game? Do you lose out or are there alternate games available?! I am just curious. I haven't won anything, but I appreciate this channel showing love to their audience in this way!
It hasn't happened to my knowledge - but I guess they'd just give it away to a friend? We have limited codes available and it's random as well. Sometimes it takes me a while to get a game that matches the person's region. Mark
Switch Up and Deku Deals has been my go to for switch deals 😁
Legend
"Before I hit you with a bucket load of waffle..." will surely enter the pantheon of great opening first lines. Marvellous.
hahaha good stuff! Mark
The interstellar soundtrack is really good.
Fallout just needs to be ported already!
The pedestrian blows my mind. It's so cool how it plays out on the environment
I’m glad you highlighted The Pedestrian and Solar Ash! If people hadn’t heard about them before, they will be thanking you for being the one to right that wrong lol 💜
I finally went for Ni No Kuni II. I stopped playing 1 because the combat was too frustrating but i like this a lot more already.
Thank you mark for making us have an even bigger back log of games 😂. I have especially as i have been addicted to snowrunner since the vid you did about addictive games. Really appreciate the content of your channel. 👍
Yesss solar ash is amazing it's so different from hyper light drifter, but somehow still feels familiar. I absolutely loved playing it and I can't wait for hyper light breaker
Thanks for sharing more sales.
I am one of the three people who had not bought Hollow Knight yet.
I was waiting for a sale that seemed to never come. So, I was very excited when I visited the eshop after the Indie Direct to download one of the new demos. I saw the Indie Sales icon prominently featuring Hollow Knight. I could not click quickly enough... And forgot about that demo I initially wanted to download...
So glad I finally get to play this game. So far, it's absolutely great.
Great video lots of good finds!
I loved The Outer Worlds! They obviously downgraded the graphics for the Switch but I really enjoyed it.
I got Hollow knight
Thank's for the content, I have to agree with you the soundtrack of interstellar always land in my weekly playlist everyweek, I just keep coming back to it. the movie was mindblowing.
Wavetale reminds me of Ys IX and that's always a good thing. Gonna check it out, thanks!
I bought Defense Grid 2. A simple but fun tower defense game originally released on PS4/XOne over a decade ago. Hasn’t had any discounts in over 4 years, but now it’s 75% off at $4.99. Highly recommended.
Just grabbed Rise of the Third Power and Fabled Lands on sale. Been going back and forth and enjoying them both very much so far.
Interstellar is one of my favourite films, very tempted by Ever space now! Thanks
So happy to see Haven Park mentioned here. I rarely see people talking about it and it's one of my favorite games I've played in recent years.
You’re right. I’d never heard of Solar Ash. But it looks pretty darn cool. Thanks! 👍🏼
Really good game. Mark
Our Vetkoek's with mince and apricot jam😂
Oh dang I’ve been wanting everspace. Just picked it up for a steal thanks!!
Silksong's hype is on another level, but the first is that good.
Doomsday is on sale in the states as well, until May 12
I played The Pedestrian years ago on PlayStation and have been looking forward to a sale for it on Switch. Cool beans.
I got sticky business this week! It was only 10% off, but it was dropped during the indie direct, and I had been waiting to get it since it has been out on pc. It's a simple game. But I've been playing it almost non stop since I got it!
Not on your list but Im thrilled to see Circus Electrique down 66%. I know where my cash is going.
Yeah that's a decent one for sure mate! Mark
Outer Worlds is an Unreal Engine game. Fallout, Starfield are in house Creation Engine games.
Also a huge fan of interstellar, the soundtrack and visuals in that movie are just insane. Never even thought to look for a vinyl but now I'll have too.. you guys are supposed to only make me buy video games not music too!
+1 for everspace though, if you are a fan of space games and rouguelites then this game is definitely for you.
Picked up Dysmantle, it looks and plays amazing on switch, can’t wait to get all 3 dlc’s next paycheck
I'm considering picking up The Pedestrian. It was fun watching you played. Yet... (side-eyed my backlogs)...
Never heard of Sea of Solitude, but I love water based games so I'm for sure looking into it.
I have been looking for a new roguelike. Can't wait to try doomsday hunter. Keep up the great videos.
Highly recommend broken age, brilliant puzzle story game with a cozy vibe.
Been so lost in moonlighter lately! In the decision to play or sleep, sleep loses almost every time 😂
I recently picked up on sale Loop Hero, World of Horror, Mato Anomalies, and Dungeon Munchies. Mato deluxe edition was super cheap, but first impression still gave a bit of buyer's remorse. I'll still put the time into it though.😂
Love Hyper Light Drifter. Bought Solar Ash on Steam on launch day since I follow the studio.
Solid game. Was a bit disappointed when it wasn't like Drifter because combat is fairly minimal. It's more of a cross between Shadow of the Colossus and Sonic. You have to quickly skate around and climb massive bosses in each area and hit their weak points in order within a certain time frame. I thought it was decent first playthrough then really enjoyed it on Hard in the second playthrough. The length is in that sweet spot that I take an evening to play it each year after Drifter.
It sees like they were testing a lot of things in Solar Ash they are using in Hyper Light Breaker as much of the art style and movement mechanics seem to come from Solar Ash.
Hyper Light Breaker is my most anticipated game of the year.
Sea Horizon I got on sale really good kinda like dicey dungeon but your equipment effects what dice you have and is a deckbuilder roguelike
Yes! My thrusters are ready!
I'm so excited that Hollow Knight and Deadcells are still both in my backlog! Definitely something look forward to!
Agreed love deli deals I watch your vids then put the games on my Wishlist then get an email when on sale
I got Haiku Little Robot on sale, neat game though quite a lot of Hollow Knight design in a different coat haha.
Thanks for the video, very interesting as always. Quite surprised that you didn’t mention the current sale on the Apollo Justice Ace Attorney trilogy. Less than 3 months after the release we get a huge -67% sale, I was quite astonished when I saw that. An incredible bargeain as you like to say. Keep up the good work, see ya ✌️
When Silksong finally comes out it better be 50% off for making us wait this long. 😅😂
You'll have to say 2 Costco hot dogs. $1.49 each including a cup of Pepsi!
Sheesh what a bargain! Mark
Bought the physical of Everspace and I can't find it, so I just purchased it again. N don't forget to set it on type C to play with the best controls. Member!
Solar Ash?! Grabbin that, mate... you guys are personally responsible for my backlog!! 😂
I just picked up Chicory, which was on sale, I don't know if it's any good yet. I was going to play it tonight. It looks interesting
The Chaos Engine? I wonder how many people got that reference (I did because I'm an old fart).
Great times
What a great game that was! Hard as balls though! Mark
Sea of Solitude is such a deep story! It is absolutely worth its full price. I say grab that deal while you can.
Totally agree with your Fallout comment, the scene between T and M didn't work for me..
It turns out some of the higher ups insisted on me paying for car insurance this month - I shall look upon the sales with envy - ahh well 🙂
The sequel to Hyperlight Drifter looks amazing. Maybe we'll see it on the new Switch🤷🏾♂️. .meanwhile, i'm waiting for Ys X
Ooooo played solar ash on pc, highly recommend, fantastic movement! only play the harder difficulties if you desire pain!
A quid is an endangered relative of the squid. It costs one british pound to buy a quid. But you can’t get them outside of britain. They disappear once they leave british air space. So if you want to see one, you will have to go to britain, they are especially common in london.
I was deliberately avoiding this EShop sale to save money...
BUT, NO...
YOU have to remind me of the Eastward bundle and I have to get it...
Am I broke?
yes...
BUT, I'm broke with one hell of a gem with DLC included.
When will someone do the right thing and port the Bitmap Brothers games across to the Switch?! The Chaos Engine was one of my all time favourite games back in the day! Such happy memories... do I sound old? 🤔😄
Absolutely great point at the beginning of the video
GameStop having a pro sale this week. Picked up Kingdom Come for $35 and Bomb Rush Cyberfunk for $20
Hollow knight looks amazing , thanks for another awesome vid Much Love ❤
*wallet jumps out of my pocket and slaps me in the face *
What?!
Highly recommend Crawl! It's a super fun party game if you don't mind a slightly longer play time.
Just picked up All of us are dead! Really wanted to try it but money is always tight so I was hoping for a sale!
Keep it up. Got to give Umurangi Generation a go now
Man, I really want to hear you guys talk about the Belgian "fricadelle" (also a cheap sausage) in the savaloy selection.
hahah how do i pronounce that? Mark
@@SwitchUpYt hahaha. Try something like "free-kah-dale"
I’ve been one of those 3 people waiting forever for hollow knight to go back on sale. Finally picked it up
3:17 Mark, there are no links for Tell Me Your Story in the description 🤔
Check it now :D
@@SwitchUpYt very kind, Mr. Walker!
Yeah isaw umarangi priced at about 3 aussie dollariedoos and bought it immediately cos I've wanted it for a while
Who wouldn't like the art style in Penny's Big Breakaway
I bought so many games since i subbed to this channel, and that’s great and all. But I have two youngsters here and a wife😅 I’m trying so hard to find time🙈
Can’t resist a saveloy - Crawl and Broken Age for me this week
I just picked up Skeletal Avenger for just £3.05 (80% discount), it hasn't been on sale very often and this is it's deepest price reduction. It's a fun-looking dungeon-crawler rogue-lite that I bumped into when reviewing new sales on dekudeals. I checked out a couple of videos and reviews and thought it worth a look.
Townscaper is so overlooked but on sale right now. It’s not a “game” it’s a “toy” and very unique
The Pedestrian is so good but quite hard
Can't believe Solar Ash is out and on Switch? Crazy. I'll miss the sale, tho. :(
