@@newerafarmer In many games you can not only change the resolution, but also the resolution scaling. Default is at 100%; you can often increase or decrease this. Changing this affects performance massively. If you increase the scaling, the image will turn out to be sharper and better anti-aliased. Decreasing is something you do if your performance is really low. It hugely affects the image in a bad way, but also increases your fps a lot.
Probably why some people say that 19 seems to look more realistic than 22 is becuase maybe farming simulator devs are adopting some kind of light amount of toon shader in 22. Like you said it has some kind of cell shader, it works in some genres of games but I am not sure if it works in farming simulator.
So glad you mentioned that blur, out the box my visuals looked awful, had a play with settings for some time & while I got it to a point I could play it with I found off putting. Be interested in how you move forward with yours to resolve it. Audio is my biggest positive of the game so far.
@@newerafarmer That would be awesome!!! I don't want the visuals to put me off as the audio adds so much depth to using the machinery. Really like your commentary style, just found you this morning so you got another sub 👍
Hey I have not played this game but the Blur effect appears to be either a Depth of Field effect or its a DLSS effect. I don't know if you can turn either or both of those off or even if they are in game settings at all.
nov 22nd was my 29th birthday disappointed nobody bought me the game. here we are a week later and its payday should i pull the trigger for full price or wait i already own fs19
Yes yes! Borderlands, that's what mine looks like... I'm very not impressed and have decided to stop playing the game until a bunch of fixes come out. After 4 hours on a tractor is 3k to fix it and 24k to repaint? Who repairs a tractor lol... Couldn't get to sell grain, because they had red X stopping to to go any further in the game and the sell point wasn't even there. Very sad for $100 bucks I spent on the game
I'm confused because your game looks like crap, and mine looks amazing. That's also watching back my own footage on TH-cam. You're also in windowed mode, which might not mean anything, though I've had some games in windowed mode before that drops the resolution.
The maps for these games look poor quality then the mod maps are always great. Wish there was a UK map. Animals should be able to put in fields not small pen's. Expected alot more for next gen consoles.
The blur really got to me as well, so far I haven’t seen any forum posts about it and I haven’t been able to figure out a fix.
Its so jarring… ive had a play and made it slightly better but i think its here to stay…
Upper resolution scaling
@@Boog868 please tell me more sir.

@@HDB112 thanks for the input, ill have a look into that also, its just mad as fs19 doesnt really need touching..

I want Red Dead Redemption 2 graphics by now tbh 😂

Yeah 100 percent audio is amazing, part 2 hopefully ill have some graphics changes to show you.

Thanks very much! Also just fixed the graphics issue
Great video looking forward to the upcoming content on fs22 (hope irl harvest went well👍)
Thanks very much! Yeah im looking forwards to a good winter of 22! Irl harvest was absolutely manic this year!

Finally found the issue
@@newerafarmer what was the issue ?

it is a better game... but still some niggles.. no major maps or mods out yet but its defiantly more fun imo.
This game is amazing best by far
I hope in fs23 they have a lot of old McCormick equipment

Still the same windowed or full screen for me, ive had a play and made it slightly better.. still not crisp though. What spec is your pc?
@@newerafarmer crap spec lol. i7 6700, 16 GB DDR4 ram and RTX 2070 super.
@@Philminator your graphics card is pretty decent, ive got a radeon rx580 maybe struggles a bit… im gona max everything out and see what happens lol.
@@newerafarmer for me to get decent graphics though I had to drop my frames to 30 fps lol
Tbh i ran about 30/40 fps on 19, currently running a easy 60fps on 22, ill have a play later i reckon

The modding community will save this game for sure.
Now that calmsden farm is out. It is definitely worth it
turn off TAA this is why you get the blur
This looks like a DLC for fs19, really no real point in buying for a character customiser and everything else can be done with mods anyway
I feel like it has promise, the sound changes alone are satisfying
I thought you were a merlo man Jay!
Ohhh yes, just no new Merlo mods yet… id rather a JCB than the other choices tbh
Looks a bit like an android game
I have fixed it 🤌
Looks just the same as the last FS game. Nothing has changed
