At first I was triggered but, I watched it a couple times and found the symbolism for a relationship through life. The closer they got to the ground was the older they get. The guy finds her by surprise at a negative phase in her life, he wants to help her feel better but, in the end it isn't really him that helps her but, she appreciates the gesture so she thinks she'll give him a chance. They have a fun a goofy relationship for awhile. The baby statue is a surprise child which made them grow apart for a little while until, after the child left for college or whatever, the guy tries to make things better by being funny and romantic. Eventually they end up closer than ever later in their life and are completely in love at the very end. Another awesome short film made possible by omeleto.
It is sad and tragic too of course- but I definitely laughed out loud the first time i saw it. i think it's the combination of hilarious and tragic that made this stand out to me as such a good short :)

It is sad and tragic too of course- but I definitely laughed out loud the first time i saw it. i think it's the combination of hilarious and tragic that made this stand out to me as such a good short :)

Mesmerizing short! For me it is both a visual and metaphorical interpretation of „falling in love” and a tragic and yet endearing story of two sad people who, on their way to meeting death, are shown, in an „eternal glimpse”, what could have been...had they chosen love instead of giving up.
