Yes, it is a special locomotive. I've always loved trains, but the Big Boys have a special place in my heart. I climbed all around this one when I was younger and it was on display at the fairgrounds in Pomona. Obviously before they restored it.
A great pleasure on meeting you Mr. Kendall and your dad at Colfax on Sunday. I missed the BigBoy chugging thru Colfax Historic town. I hope you two was able to get great footage, Video as the Bigboy rolled on bye. That Digger Pine tree held the train up from Auburn, darn tree just jump out and stopped the train, metal versus wood. Enjoy the journey following the BigBoy. Ed Andrews
Kendall Collins, You are doing what you enjoy. Your life at Springville School is an inspiration to Mrs Claudia Corcoran's daughter Laurel who is now Teacher who totally understands what helps kids with special talents.
After visiting Big Boy, you need to take a trip to The Henry Ford in Michigan to see the Allegheny Locomotive and the rest of the train collection there. 🙂
Definitely on my bucket list to go there. When I was pretty little, Henry Ford was one of my obsessions. I don't know where it came from, but my parents had a video about the 100th anniversary of Ford. I watched it over and over. My mom bought me a cool image of Henry Ford and Barney Oldfield. I was also very fascinated by the Wright Brothers.
Looking forward to that video. Couldn't go myself. FYI your link to your previous video on the big boy actually just goes to a dedicated ad. No video about big boy.
No other train like this! 🎉
How fun!

It was nice meeting you. It was a long wait to watch it roll through. I'm glad the tree didn't do more damage. Thanks for watching!

Thank you! That is so nice to hear about Laurel being a teacher. I loved my time at Springville School.

@@adventureswithkendall You'll have to make a multiple day adventure. Because you'll want to see Greenfield Village right next door.

Thank you! I'll fix that.
