The video starts out in western Wyoming on the hills north of Rock Springs and Evanston - it's a wild horse area on the map. The 4014 crossing the bridge is in Green River. Granger Wyo is next, the eastbound train blocks the view of the westbound 4014, I felt bad as they had waited about 45 minutes as it was sitting on the east end of town - waiting for another train to pass. Then they both passed each other in the very small town of Granger. The train heads west across the high desert plains toward Carter ( I don't have footage of the Carter area. ) The 4014 is traveling south when it crossed under I-80. It winds thru the valleys on its way up to Aspen Mountain - this is off the grid roads and is beautiful. The 4014 spent the night in Evanston. If you go to Evanston be sure to see the Roundhouse at the train station. The shot with the red hills and orange sandstone is west of Evanston - this is July 4th. The train starts the grade thru Echo Canyon area and joins I-80 down the canyon and then splits off at Echo to I-84. This is where the crowds of people follow the route, it is great to see the fans of the 4014. Henefer is the overpass that shows a time lapse of the cars leaving to catch up after the 4014 goes by. It travels across the valley toward the canyon and Croyden and crosses the twin bridges with the Devils Slide in the far left view. Next is the hay fields near Morgan and Enterprise with the mountains with the last of the snow on them. The last shot, train coming thru the tunnel - is in Echo Canyon and I though the westbound trains were traveling on. There was a big delay with the trains and for some reason switched to the lower track - no tunnel on the lower track. It would have been a fun shot I think. Thanks for watching, appreciate it and subscribe to see more adventures.
