@@adventureswithkendall I am 72 years old and used to go to a camp in Soquel, Kennolyn Camps! As a kid We would get on a bus and go to the Boardwalk often and it was so special. The big wooden indoor slides and the first rollercoaster ridden by me! Good times!
Hello Kendal love Santa Cruz. I did not know that they took in some of the central valley Yokut . There must of been a lot of missionary work going on back then. I liked that Old Painting you showed us as well from 1876. Old paintings are neat. Oh by the way I liked your jacket and Hat they look becoming on you. I love the fact that you mentioned the garden out back. I built my first garden when I was about in the third grade it was sort of a must do or stay hungry. There were a lot of us kids in the family, the gardens back in those years were absolutely nessacary. You mentioned the dormitory, the Missionaries sure had it together back then. I liked the Tunnel 8 it is in the shape of a Horse Shoe, curved in on each side at the bottom. Then that old Train Engine brightens my eyes thanks man appreciate you taking us on your trip love it.
GREAT SHOW!!!
Thank you!
I love the Santa Cruz boardwalk! When I was a child about 60 years ago. It was my hangout 🎉
My great Uncle lived there so it's always been a treat to go hang out with family there. I plan to do an episode about the Boardwalk in the future.
