Why not spend time fitting the trim to the screen rubber while its out, then bonding it all in as one lump, you can then adjust the trim to hold the rubber to fit the aperture perfectly. can do many trial fits untill ready. just a thought
The quality of the video has improved remarkably - admittedly, I am a relatively new follower, and I have not watched all the videos in their proper sequence. Another observation, the quality of the videography is much better - so, I suspect you are using a better camera and microphone as well as a different videographer. This is an important and exciting project. Very impressive attention to details and design.
Great build. The gap in the roof flight panel between the two component parts would drive me nuts though when getting in, not the fault of the trimmer, just the design of the part, could do with some piping at the junction between the two bits to hide the gap. Just an observation not a criticism.
Great work as always boys, not much to show, but it's all in the detail, speaking of detail - detailing once the car is finished is there any plans to have the car fully detailed & maybe a ceramic coating, lad I know down in Dewsbury did my S Class couple of years ago he's on FB does a top, top job, fully on it knows what he's doing, if you want his details Andy let me know, until the next one thank you for keeping us all up to date with the gullwing.... have a great week
(It may be secret if it’s under those circumstances) but you can see why Mercedes were so worried about such high quality replicas stealing the show, I’ve seen an original at Mercedes world and quite honestly, this is nicer! 👌
Car is coming along, one thing though, those speaker grilles are ugly as hell, paint or cover with leather.great little video.just keep on doing what your doing and carry on.😎😎😎👍👍👍
Looking good. I bet the detailing takes forever, but worth the effort.
Looks great gents! Lots of little details to sort out!
Jock from Southport. Can't wait to see it in the flesh when it's finished. ❤
Perfection, can't wait until it's finished. The effort you've guys put in is amazing.
Thank you very much!
It keeps on looking better and better. You guys should be really proud of what you're creating.
Yes we’re really happy, thanks
You guys are truly living on the edge working on that car without covering the paint ;) Keep up the good work!
I couldn’t believe they had the old windscreen just laying on that beautiful bonnet!

One step ahead of you, that’s what we’ve done 🤫
Looking good, guys. From FL USA.
Looking good guys.
That trim is the same as the e30 bmw theres a tool to put that trim in but as long as you use washing liquid will go in easier

Thanks Simon, yes it will be fully detailed and coated by my good friend Richard from ph detailing he look after my cars 👍🏻
What are you guys going to do for the interior. do you hope to get real interior pieces?
Can I ask where the kit came from, my understanding was Mercedes band these kit and took court action at any kit being bought.

Hopefully though, (unlike the Eleanor fiasco in the States) they won’t be becoming to take this one away!
Rather the relief cuts, get a metal shrinker tool
What is the total cost to build the car
When are the new wheels going on?
When it’s finally finished
gonna be blue? I like it.
