Wouldn’t those compression numbers indicate an issue? I always heard it’s not only that the numbers are high enough but they all have to be within a specific amount of each other

If one cylinder is significantly lower than the others, it could indicate an issue like a worn piston ring, a valve problem, or even a head gasket issue. Ideally, the compression readings should be within about 10-15% of each other. So, even if the numbers are high enough, a significant difference between them could still point to a problem.
