i done a good few front springs struts on my own cars and friends in the past(ex truck and bus mechanic) but i have never seen one with a top nut tucked away under the bulk like that. going to be doing one for a friend on his Berlingo van so thought i would see if anybody did one on here. thanks Guddu Pappu .with a quick recap off this video, i reckon i could nail it in an hour or so on the side of the road. cheers again
Anyone know why its hard to get a hold of a complete strut assembly? My shocks and springs both need doing so I figured I wouldn't waste time taking the old bits apart if I can just put in new struts and call it a day Could I get the parts for a strut assembly and perhaps take it to a shop and have them put it together for me?
Hi mate my citreon berlingo multispace van on the left side when I give it full lock it makes a clonk sound is that the top shock mount can u tell me it sounds like a stretching sound then it goes clonk

Good video but surely if you are replacing the shock absorber it would make sense to replace the strut mount bearing at the same time.

Is there a special adjustment on those spanners for torque ? Or do you just go "click" when it feels right?
You can use the Torque wrench to tighten to specific Torque in my case I don't have one

I changed ball joints and drop links but still it makes that sound can u tell me if I am right with the shock please thanks

the stabilizer strut does not twist with a screwdriver, screwing a finger is a damaged strut!
