FORD RAPTOR Prices are FALLING!! Is NOW the time to BUY?

- Ford F150 Raptor prices are falling... and quick!! For the first time in Raptor history, you're able to get one for less than MSRP. I bought my 2023 Ford Raptor a couple weeks ago for $5300 BELOW MSRP! MSRP was $83,800 and I paid $78,500. Not to mention, they "threw in" the Xpel window tint and front end paint protection. If you're looking for a 37 Performance Package, you can absolutely find one AT sticker, at MSRP... easily. Some dealers are still trying to drag out the pandemic prices but are failing miserably, they just refuse to let go and it's sad.
If you've been on the fence to buy a new Ford Raptor, now might be the time. The facelifted 2024 Ford Raptor is right around the corner, but even those will be sold at MSRP pretty easily in my opinion, I'm already starting to see them advertised (build allocations anyway). Let me know your thoughts? Are you going to buy one? Or are you going to wait out this recession-like null period and see what happens?
As for the Raptor R, they're coming down but they're still $10-20K above MSRP still. Better than 30-50K... but we still have a ways to go with them.
Is this a good sign overall? Thanks for watching as always.

Yea, every dealer near me is overloaded with trucks. Even my Toyota dealer is selling below MSRP. Nothing is moving. These interest rates are nuts.
Yeah the interest rates are out of control atm… something has got to give. =\
this was also the case in 2019-20....bought my fully loaded 2019 in Jan of 2020 for 6k off MSRP! The ebb and flow of the market, production, interest rates etc!
I have a mint gen 1 with 100k miles. Just went thru major overhaul including a tune, a gen 2 suspension conversion, alpine status surround sound, winch, 37” tires. Paid 30k and I did all the work myself. I’m glad I didn’t get a new gen 3. Payment I’ve heard are around 1600 monthly.
I'm a big fan of Toyota's and my wife just purchased a 2014 FJ identical to the one you owned for a short period. My son has a 2021 GMC 1/2 diesel, which he loves. Towing a moderate size boat and still get 20 MPG. Becasue of your video outlining the upgrades 2023 and 2024, I've started a search for a Silverado 4 X 4 with the latest diesel. One dealer is currently advertising a RST trim level at $13K discounts / rebates. The ZR2s are not discounted. But, looking at a 2023 RST diesel 4 X 4 for under $47K, so I'm checking it out tomorrow. Thanks for your info on the diesel upgrades.
Awesome, can’t beat $13K in discounts… that’s wild! My pleasure, I appreciate your support of the channel. Thank you. Let me know if you decide on buying that RST! 👍
I love that color, I wish it was available when I purchaser my 22 CO Raptor. Let’s break some records and see how long you can hold onto it as it’s a beautiful truck!
Dealers in AZ still slapping 15-16K mark-ups on them. 😑
Interesting. I live in south Florida and cannot get any dealer to back off their markup.
I bought a 05’ Tacoma last year with 200k for $7500. Very clean Arizona truck lifted 2 inches with 33 inch tires. Couldn’t be happier 20 thousand miles later. Likely I could sell this truck for what I bought it for. Used vehicle purchases are the ultimate trade in value. That’s… if you buy a Toyota.
Stuck between an 18 raptor or a trd pro taco.....tacos will retain value like crazy...comfortable between 30 to 50k for a car. Any input?
Was that price out the door or before taxes?
Are those mud flaps factory OEM?
Untamed- you should get a Raptor R for the channel. I know they are expensive but I think your viewers would love it. I know I would.
Love the truck! I’ve been on the sideline for 2 years waiting for a gen 3 Raptor. Looks like it might just about be the time. I’m seeing a lot of them on dealer lots.
If you’re able to pay it off sooner than later, now is definitely a great time to consider it!
Negotiate like hell and earnest offers. If they laugh, you laugh with them and walk out. Lol
almost everything is on the lot at this point
Don’t buy a v6 raptor. I own a 2019 raptor supercrew. I don’t recommend one.
What a great deal! 80K for a pickup truck. LOL.
Ford is recalling certain models of the 2020-2022 Explorer due to a rollaway risk if the parking brake isn’t applied.
Good video. I see 2023 discounts now as well. Even tundras big time it seems.
Was told 73k for my 23 37PP with 5k miles. Had a 90k sticker
Not quite as bad as you untamed but last week I traded is my 2018 tacoma trd pro for a new to me lexus nx 300 only because I bought a Daihatsu hijet in a Japanese auction a few weeks prior. It will be here in April. Now I need more garage room it will sit beside the yaris with a corolla motor in it...
Nice man! Congrats! That’ll be sweet!
$80k for any truck is insane. Every car lot I drive by is overloaded with vehicles right now due to interest rates. The average American can’t swing the $800+ monthly payment.
Built my 2020 and got it at invoice.
Can you get Rs at MSRP?
Good video. Not sure how the stock market is looking bleak as it’s at all time highs. None the less though great time to buy a Raptor.
Ford recalls 180,000 model year 2022 F-150 pickup trucks
Ready to buy a 3rd gen... 60k down payment... So Cal lowest I found over a wide search is 5k ADM.... Not happening here.
Cannot wait for the Raptor R on the 12th day of Untamed-mass!
lol I wish! If I found one at sticker I’d do it. But that is dang near impossible atm. Maybe next year? Idk 🤷♂️
Wait. You got ANOTHER Raptor???? Looks sweet!!
lol yep… haha keep up man! 😆
@@UntamedMotors Bidenomics not allowing us to keep up man. 😅
Called at least 6 dealerships trying to work a deal on a new 2023 Raptor.. willing to pay 75k excluding taxes and they still won’t budge. Mind you, 2024s are starting to pop up selling for MSRP at 79k!!
Keep trying, I bet you’ll get one lined up sooner than later!
Where did you see 2024 at msrp?
I am happy with my 18 Tundra Platinum.I have heard too many horror stories with Raptors...
Keep it! It’s beautiful
Thanks man. It’s staying (for much longer than the previous few anyway lol)
Ford recalls 45,000 vehicles for door lock issues risking in-transit openings
Lmaooo. Is never a good time to buy ford. After owning 3 fords. I’ll pass….
The more technology and new crap they try to put into these new vehicles the more problems and the more less reliable they will be
@@AntilleanConfederationwhat about diesel ford trucks ?
@@steve9348 never had one. But I do like the f250 diesel
@@AntilleanConfederation AMEN! Ford products are pure garbage!
That might be the case in Wyoming , but here in Washington st and Oregon its still $10k over msrp minimum it seems like. I love that Avalanche color you have but i am also loving my Azure Gray Metallic 23. Maybe youll get a Raptor R from Santa 🎅. Have a good week.
Congrats on your azure grey! Awesome color. Sorry to hear they’re still being greedy out in the PNW… doesn’t surprise me much. Haha I’d love an R but won’t pay over for one… and that’s dang near impossible atm.
@UntamedMotors I'd love an R but I paid msrp for my regular raptor just cantt justify another $30k. I could afford it but it's just too much for a truck.
@@B_EIMON I hear you man… I agree it’s a lot to justify for a vehicle purchase, no matter how cool.
@UntamedMotors Exactly, it's cool but not $110k + cool to me,but never say never. The EB Raptor is fairly quick stock, once the tunes arrive for the 23 it wakes it up alot.
Just bought the azure grey yesterday in New Braunfels Texas- paid 2.5 thousand over msrp. Couldn’t find any for msrp near me
My local dealer offered $37.5K for my 23 Raptor with 35 package and 7K miles. Only options were moonroof pwr tailgste forged wheels. Walked out laughing.
lawd i hope you do a 2023 year end of just how many vehicles you went through since 2022. l
I'm more curious how this guy can afford all this
If you really think the dealer didn’t know what vehicle they were trying to sell you then you still have a lot to learn about car sales. 😂
lol have you even seen my channel? 😆 I’ve dealt with countless dealers… far more than most people. This wasn’t a bait and switch matter, though I’d love to say it was.
@@UntamedMotors I have seen many videos on your channel. That’s why I am surprised you don’t think the dealer knew they were not working a deal on a 37 package raptor. I have worked in automotive sales for over 20 years and I can honestly say they did a very good sales job if they fooled you into thinking they made a mistake and didn’t know they were working a deal on a raptor that was no longer available. Sales 101 is don’t tell a customer the vehicle is sold over the phone. You wait until they get there. But, good luck to you that they at least discounted their price even though they made you take some of the overpriced add ons. You still got a good deal for a Raptor purchase in December of 2023. I do agree with you that raptor prices are coming down and if things keep going in the same direction dealers will have lots full of raptors at discounted prices. That definitely won’t help your resale value, since they main reason raptors hold their value so well is because most in the past have been sold over MSRP. So everyone sold at or under MSRP hurts the current raptor owners including you.
@@Glock2674
Sure does sound like a classic bait and switch.
@@Glock2674exactly i told him that in the last video, he really thought the dealership forgot the sold a different truck lol and he still bought it
@@paulboden7850 For sure bait and switch. The salesman knew Untamed was 2 hours away so his first goal was to get him to drive to the dealership. I don't think Untamed would have drove the 2 hours if he knew they didn't have the Raptor he was looking for and I'm sure the salesman thought that too. I think Untamed made the best of the situation and negotiated a decent deal but I would be pissed at the typical car salesman BS. It's OK to be satisfied with the outcome but still be pissed at the dishonest tactics of the salesman. This type of bait and switch gives car salesmen a bad reputation.
I sold my 23 Raptor 37 this spring for $95,000 and while I miss it every day I felt the timing was right.
You definitely sold at the best possible time 👌
@@UntamedMotors yeah I’m patient but was hoping to find a deal on something by now.
Car & Truck prices are falling. Finally 😆 I’ve never traded in a vehicle.
Hey Untamed! Glad to see you back in a raptor. I am eyeballing the gen 3 and am curious what happens to all the leftover 2023 models? Would you happen to know what Ford does with them now that its 2024? Do they just leave them for dealers to sell off?
good deal is -20K
I think prices will continue to fall... Didn't you just buy a ZR2? Oh you traded it in already. How many weeks did you own it? Why did you sell already?
They are being discounted for a reason 😬
Vehicle is cool if u actually do raptor off road stuff!
Yep, classic… “do you even Raptor bruh?” 😆 love it.
It's only falling because the trucks you really want to own are going up 😅 .. yes, I'm looking at you Toyota!
Not in California , still asking 7500 mark up
What part of CA? Here in Palm Springs they asking 25K

Colorado will always be cheaper than California when it comes to to the Raptor at the moment. Cali is still over MSRP
The Dow hit an all-time high today. That's hardly "bleak".
Good news but It’s been very bleak.
Doesn't every asset class hit a new high before the collapse? My brokerage statement for November reflected a 5% gain just in November. The real estate I've been aquiring for 30+ years is also at an all time high. So was Wachovia stock at $57.00 per share and paying a quarterlydividend of $0.64 per share before it collapsed to $2.00 per share. I'm not sure what business you're in or why "untamed" believes things are bleak, but as a landlord to dozens of families (100% of which are paying far below market), I can tell you household budgets are severley strained. I also oversee a scholarship fund for a moderately expensive sport and have never seen the demand for assistance this high, even from "upper middle class" families. The pulse is distintive. The issue for stocks is there was no where for money to go to earn a decent return. Buying income real estate today is a ROR disaster, so money will keep flowing into stocks. Expect a 20% correction within 12 to 18 months max.
Inflation has certainly hit hard and there's no doubt people are suffering, but I must ask: why do you have a broker? I mean, if you're so certain about the direction of the market shouldn't you be running a hedge fund?
I don’t have a truck now but the truck I had before trading in was a Ford Raptor. To be honest I’m not sure how anyone can own any other truck after having a Raptor. Just the best truck in the world to drive, comfortable, and reliable. Ford Raptor always gets my vote.
Buy?? Sell/trade now before prices really tank.
Just lease vehicles you get bored real quick. I used to be the same way until I hit 45 years old and had to start thinking about retirement.
Wait at least 6-9 months. We are heading into a much bigger deeper recession .Then you will see actual deals, much much better than what you are seeing now.
Will this thing ever hit dirt?
Hope so! 🤞🏻
FORD RAPTOR Prices are FALLING!! Is NOW the time to BUY? hahaha tomorrow buy one get one free ))) don't try to catch a falling knife,"
Not worth it for the interest rate! I don’t know how people are still buying AND paying way over MSRP!
Prices will keep falling, this is just the start.
You’re happy with an 80k truck ?! 😂😂😂. This world is insane. Just 5 years ago a really low mileage, certified ford truck and a couple years old was only 27k. Have fun with a house mortgage payment. 😂
Avalanche is the best color no doubt. Carbon probably 2nd.
Even if I won a new ford raptor I’d immediately trade it on a Toyota.
Wtf 7 to 10 percent interest? That's just stealing
Stay away from Ford.
You gotta be high as a kite
For what reason? You don’t think raptor prices are falling?
Ford raptors have horrible quality! Just sold my 2023. It was a POS!
Yeah definitely some cheap materials and several corners cut
