Another Brilliant Video Gary, looks like a impressive Car Show, maybe one for me to visit. Defo agree we need younger people in the classic car scene to keep these beautiful classics on the road.
😀Nice to see and hear from the owners of same of these beautiful classic vehicles. After all its the people who own and drive 🚗 these cars that give them their personality and bring them alive....
hi Gary love the channel mate great content getting younger guys and gals into classics is hard but i think if they learn on future classics its a cheap step into our world
nice place nice people thanks for a brilliant cover footman james on my small fleet cant wait for the rolls i buy the drinks ha cheers gary im saving for a Corniche fixed head
Hi Gary. Loving the channel. Restoring classic cars is a passion, care and attention to details. In my time me and good friends have worked on an XJ40, a shadow 2. Awesome walkthrough tour thanks 😊 My ultimate would be an 1965 phantom VI. . . . eventually.
Hey Gary! Wonderful video as usual - we were away in the Lakes when Chateau Impney was on and sad we missed it - we were at Shelsley Walsh just down the road though a few weeks before for the members day and this allows owners classic car ownership and using them onto another level - would really recommend it to you! Looks like you had a great day and a lot of what you were talking about really resonates - I love walking round these shows and talking to the owners and reminiscing or swapping anecdotes, these things are about the cars and likeminded people just getting together and enjoying the event and the company. I also find it inspiring to look at the end product of what the guys at the shows have achieved and really keeps me persisting with mine. Bacon butties at these things are a must! Great episode as usual and keep 'em coming! looking forward to the next one :-)Cheers, Stew
They ran a revival hillclimb here from 2015-2019 but sadly Covid & other issues put paid to any further events.I had a drive up the course one day & nobody stopped me,asked me what I was doing!
Sadly, here in the US, i honestly feel that the classic car hobby has become a thing for the wealthy. Cars and coffee on the weekends is nothing more than rich people showing off their prized automobiles and the owners have no interest in sharing anything else. They don't have any knowledge or skills to impart on anyone since they just bought the car and never work in it. I'm not trying to be a pessimist but rather a realist. That's why i love this channel so much. I never get that vibe or feeling that Gary isn't as real and forthcoming with all his trades when making videos for us. I believe he has the passion at heart and truly wants to help anyone who is interested. That is rare on TH-cam or anywhere nowadays.
Another great video Gary keep it up I have worked on cars since 87 in garages .And believe me when I say I have worked with people who have worked in garages on the shop floor for 20 years ,and still can not use a spanner screwdriver or even repair a puncture in a bicycle .They never did have any interest what so ever
I know. You’re so right. That’s why I started doing my own work rather than pay somebody to make a mess of things. There are some fantastic garages out there and great mechanics but also a lot of bad so called specialists doing sub-standard work giving them a bad name. Regards. Thanks for watching.
@@JamesCairney You want to hear the Owners Tales & Bonus is Cars :-) Great Work. Thank you for Taking the Time out to Share. Tim from Hobart , Tasmania. Under Down under :-)
Great video, thanks for sharing your passion..

Great video Gary, you can strike up a conversation with an owner, who will have an interesting story about the car or them selves. 👍🏻😀

@@classic.obsession Spot on
I’d love to see you rebuild one of my dream cars , an early seventies Citroen DS 23efi 😊
Ah but you missed the real big event on Sunday Gary.....60-odd 911s at CNC in Sefton St
So my son, 21!
Can’t get insurance. Can you help?
MGB GT?
E type S2
Be great to insure as we are avid show car people.
Do you rate Fiat panda 4x4 gary
It would have been better if you had shown more cars and less people.
I enjoyed the conversations, its something different to just pointing cameras at cars. That gets boring quickly.

@@JamesCairney yes I understand still it’s an interesting channel and worth watching
It’s the peoples stores make it interesting, the more unique than the cars
