A few fun thoughts... rotational energy could be harnessed to light up a series of LEDs (the faster you go, the more you light up), a physical counter and timer could be implemented to make it a competitive sport, or a spring could be loaded and released after enough successful rotations to set something off, or start another fun sequence of events.
Austin Thompson I love the idea of a measurable way to compete.
One major theme I try to include in my work is, the only thing you need to make these creations is a 3D printer. A little worried that that may limit what I'm able to make, but I also see it as an opportunity to push the limits of what's possible with 3D printing.
Jeff, this is good stuff! Please do more design vids!!!
Really appreciate it. Working on a lot of stuff but I definitely plan on more design videos.
Nicely done. If you don't mind my asking - which printer model did you use?
Thanks so much! No problem at all, it’s the Prusa i3 MK2
195 to go!
Impressive design! What software did you use? Is this printed with PLA?
Thanks! This was 100% modeled in Fusion360, my go-to software. And yes, PLA all the way.
Nice use of super glue for a band aid!
Ryan Post that trick changed my life
Whatever I can do to contribute to the reduction of wet band aids in the world #disgusting
Wait, you have 32 4 subs? A second ago you had 32 3!! Maybe it’s because I clicked this wired red button and there was a bell and... never mind, it’s a long story
Haha thanks so much!
