Forgot to mention. I used a stand development process in rodinal... Which gives me less contrast. Just some info. Cheers.

Great camera. For year ten art class at school I can remember building a pinhole camera with cardboard and tin foil and Tape. The film was a square piece of photo paper we unload and loaded the cameras in the dark room. What amazed me was the infinite depth of field and sharpness. The pinhole was made by pricking the smallest hole in the foil with a pin.Students who made the smallest hole got the best results.

Great print you made. Pinhole photography is a beautiful thing and very different in looks to standard photography. Acros was the easiest film to use and it gives a lovely smoothness to the image.

Yes, I knew I didn't have to mess about with reciprocity calcs with acros.

Maybe I build a pinhole wideangle body for my Mamiya 6x9 Press magazine . Just combine a wood stucture with the M adapter and Press magazine . I have also the very rare G adapter for my RB67 magazine . So after I finished my darkroom work it can be a nice winter project . Peter .

Thanks Michael. It was only as I saw it on the market stall in front of me I got one. I'd recommend it for an alternative and break away from shooting mechanicals 🤗

Superb job Roger! I’ve been experimenting with split grade too. I’ve got some pinhole cameras and you’ve inspired me to go out an use them again!

Enjoyed that, I've never split contrast printed before. I find a suitable contrast for the overall image and burn areas with either lower or higher (or both) contrast to suit.

I recommend putting a reserve price (minimum price) of at least £75 because otherwise it could end up being sold for too little to reflect the work you put in especially as it's such a lovely composition!

Have you thought about selling your prints? Maybe not a bunch, but perhaps 1 print can be bought. Like a very limited releases. It’s a lot of work in the darkroom, but I think people would certainly spend good money on one.

    Hi Georg!
After 35mm movies and 6x6 movies, don't you try 4x5 large format photography? I know it is a bit cumbersome to set up and is used for landscape photography, but I also see very nice portraits. You make Intrepid cameras in England. I'm collecting the money for it now.
    Hi Tamás.
